Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe doctor recommended we used Oilatum for our 4 month old son due to a rash that appeared on his body which had characteristics of eczema. After the first bath using Oilatum, the rash on his body started to improve, however was still very visible. We noticed after his fifth bath that his rash had almost disappeared on his body, arms and legs. The rash had also reduced on his forehead and face, however the bath additive appeared to dry out the skin instead and then caused a very dry and fragile skin that was easily damaged.

After a few months of using this, we now wash his face with only fresh water and the rest of his body using water from the bath. Since doing this, the dry skin has reduced significantly and the rash on the body has almost disappeared.

Great product but can definitely dry out your babies skin depending on their sensitivity

Children were starting to get mild eczema – reduced bathing frequency and used only water or water with this stuff. Skin improved. More of an issue in the winter with dry air.

An everyday, all over moisturiser to protect against general dryness and to smooth rough, dry and flaky patches. I find that when I bathed him in this his skin and moisture level is really good and hence his skin does not dry out easier. It certainly lock-in extra moisture.

Really good for hard water areas such as London.

Only one thing i did not like was the chlorine strong smell.

Does the job exactly as it says I use on my newborn who has eczema, be careful bath is slippery after so you need to clean it after each use.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis product helped our young baby with sensitive and dry skin. We went through quite a few products before coming across Oilatum. Worth trying as it safe to use on young babies. A bit of kind warning – because on the ingredients, baby’s skin becomes slippery (oily feeling), so to those 1st time trying this product – please look after your baby when handling him/her wet after the bath. Otherwise highly recommended!!

Asked the GP what we could do about small amounts of dry skin on our London newborn recommended this without missing a beat. Have since recommended to lots of other families who all agree it’s exactly what they need. We just put half a cap of it into the baby bath every bath. Haven’t had any dry skin since and it’s been over three months.

I was a bit cautious to use it at first as it is not sealed under the lid, I tested it on my own skin before putting it near my daughte

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is brilliant stuff; I has no scent, and it great to delicate new born baby skin. It got rid of our baby’s really dry skin around the feet and ankles within a week or so! As well as drastically reducing her cradle cap which has almost gone too! A really good sensitive, effective product that we swear by.
