Was quite annoying to set up. I realised I had to hold in the button really hard for it to go on. Hopefully this helps anyone else who thinks it doesn’t work. Other wise it’s a good gadget nice clear picture.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI bought this as my son was saying his ear was hurting, we checked and all was ok, however on checking my own ears (I have quite a few issues with my hearing) I noticed something that didn’t look quite right, it freaked me out a bit so I left it a few days as I just thought my ear was a bit weird, I looked again today and thought, that’s a tip of my hearing aid, I don’t wear them and haven’t noticed a top missing so it must have been there for over a year!

With a bit of nervous digging I couldn’t believe it when I managed to get the tip out covered in wax yuk! I clean my ears every day which I know I shouldn’t but I do.

This product is amazing and I cannot thank the creators enough, would highly recommend, however be super, super careful and if you are unsure then simply do not do it!!

I absolutely love this product, it’s great to know how clean you can get your ears and it can also be used to look at spots, or anything on your face or just anywhere you wouldn’t normally be able to zoom into or reach. I have used it to check my dogs ears also 🙂 you can also use it to look up nose or in mouth etc. was super easy to connect to the Wi-Fi for my iPhone. Highly recommend.

    What I liked:
Simple to setup, you turn it on, download the app and then connect to the WiFi point it makes.
Great camera quality up close (it’s a macro camera).
Long enough battery life for looking in your ears, and even then it’s rechargable.

Honestly I’ve used it to look into tight gaps and spaces I can’t see into with my eye as well.
It does what it says and for a pretty cheap price as well. I’d definitely recommend it if you wanna look in your ears whenever you want.

This product is amazing worked so well with unblocking my ear after two weeks of not being able to hear anything and have a blockage that I couldn’t budge this helped with removing the final bits for me. The app was a little confusing at first but once I worked it out worked like a dream.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI have been struggling with my left ear for a while due to excessive wax buildup, which made it difficult for me to hear things around me clearly. It was quite frustrating, and I knew I needed to address the problem before it caused any further complications. Luckily, I came across this device specifically designed for cleaning earwax, which proved to be a game-changer for me!

Using the device was quite straightforward, and the high-quality camera allowed me to see inside my ear and target the wax buildup precisely. The process of removing the wax was both satisfying and a bit disturbing, but the relief I felt when the excess wax came out was immense. After using the device, I could immediately feel a significant improvement in my hearing, and I no longer had to strain to hear conversations or sounds.

Overall, I highly recommend this earwax removal device to anyone who may be struggling with hearing difficulties due to wax buildup. It’s easy to use, effective, and provides a great sense of relief once the excess wax has been removed. However, it’s essential to use it with caution and follow the instructions carefully to avoid any potential harm to your ears.

I had ear wax stuck at the end of the ear due to excessive use of the cotton buds. I had blocked ears due to this. After using this XLife I was able to locate the wax that got stuck and got rid of it .For the hard wax had to use ear drops to make it soft. Finally I am able to hear fully with clean ears.Highly recommend this to anyone suffering with excessive ear wax.

The delivery was quick, the packaging is minimal and you get a nice little case to store it in to.

The set-up is quick two minutes at best no hassle what so ever.

I purchased this because the doctors kept advising oil to clear my ear out but it never worked and now after using this im all clear.

    Deffinitely recommend using this product!!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was having earaches and ringing in my ear. This device allowed me to see in my ear and there was a hair poking my eardrum! I got it out with the help of the camera and rubber arm. The instructions to connect with my phone were very clear and helpful. Camera is high quality, giving very clear photo. Thank you!

I saw something similar on facebook, and I thought I might give it a shot and see if they have something similar on Amazon. I found this product and ordered it straight away. First time I turned it on, it surprised me the quality of the picture as most of stuff advertised as HD camera looks nothing like it should. After shower I used the product and I love it. Since then I’ve been using it regularly and if for some reason it gets broken I’ll just buy a new one. 100% recommend.

This piece of kit has been fantastic. The connection to the app using an iPhone and the instructions provided was seamless. For it’s intended purpose it has been amazing in helping to resolve ongoing issues with wax build up in ears. I can’t rate it enough and for the price and prompt delivery. Fantastic – highly recommend

This product is very good. Clear picture (outside of hair getting in the way but that’s not the products fault!) and easy to use. The coating is much safer than a metal one so I’m glad for that. Make sure to be careful with it as anything in the ear is risky but due to the camera I think it’s the safest way to remove ear wax as you can see what you’re doing. Only downside is that I’m not ambidextrous so getting the left side is difficult but again not the products fault!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWorked to dislodge my hard type wax with the following steps:
    1. a couple of drops of olive oil in ear the night before. charge otoscope.
    2. a couple of drops of olive oil in ear 10 mins before ‘operation’
    3. use an old/spare phone or turn off everything except wifi
    4. install the app from play store (the name is printed in the manual so no need to use their QRcode and links unless u want to)
    5. start app, choose model, your phone will disconnect from home wifi and connect to the otoscope’s wifi (it broadcasts like a wifi router with its own SSID to stream video to your phone app.)
    6. operation starts. nib around the edges first eventually the boss can be defeated. satisfying!
    7. remove their app from your phone.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt’s not as good as a getting a professional Japanese cleaning but it is still a very useful tool, definitely worth the price. I only wish the light was a bit brighter as ears are understandably very dark.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI brought this because my partner kept complaining his year is still blocked and he thought is because of the plane we had just been in days before. I thought we should check and this is what he got out of his ears. Even though we clean our years after every shower, we can’t really see what is in there. This is quite good, very clean picture/ video and easy to use. It comes with other tools we have not used yet.
    I woul definitely recommend.

Good starter otoscope. Really easy to set up to use. Battery life is short but lasts one session. The picture quality is good but can get blurry at times as it re-focuses. I managed to pull out a massive ear plug from my son’s ear. He had been referred for Audiology for hearing problems but these issues were seemingly resolved with the wax removal! The clear plastic scoops snap very easily, which was frustrating. The silicone scoop has lasted the longest, it would have been ideal if more silicone scoops were provided as they do not offer replacement scoops. Now that they’ve all snapped, I contacted the seller who provided a refund but I would have preferred if replacement scoops were also available.

An audiologist told me I had an ear wax problem. I coulnd not find anyone locally who could do syringing except one chemist, who would charge me 80, and who could not book me in at all for at least 2 months. I decided to try this device. It’s brilliant. Returned to the audiologist today, she said my ears were clear and that it was a “job well done”. I paid 15 for the device on Amazon. I would however endorse the words of the 4 star reviewer above: The metal tools incuded with it look dangerous and are totally unnecessary. Get rid of them as the first thing you do upon opening. The tool itself has a silicon tip (no spare with mine, but I can’t see it wearing out) and the camera gives a fantastic clear picture of what you’re doing. Use ear drops for a few days before you use the tool (Ordinary olive oil works great). Then any hard wax will soften and be easy to gradually remove. Enjoy the visual odyssey inside your ear.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI find this kind of stuff fascinating, so digging around in my ear with a tiny camera was like Christmas had came early. It’s amazing what you miss when you’re just going in blind, but those days are over. It was easy to set up and install the app. The picture quality is so good. Amazing how clear such a tiny camera can be, and especially one at this price point. The battery lasts ages. I’ve only had to charge it once and I’ve probably used it for well over an hour in various bursts since then and it’s still going. My only disappointment was that things look bigger on screen than they actually are, so I thought I was digging something the size of a 20p out, and it comes out in reality the size of a pinhead. I guess that’s also a pro though for how much detail you can actually see in. It also has a skin mode which lets you see all your blackheads in full glory. I haven’t figured out yet how to squeeze them out while having the camera on them, so I’ve not really used that feature. The ear tool is also very gentle as the tip is a soft silicone type feel and I’ve even used it on my young child who sat unflinchingly still while I cleaned his ear, so a definite endorsement for being good for the whole family. Overall, I can’t recommend it enough and I’ve already told loads of people about it. So whether you like this kinda stuff generally, or you just want super clean ears, this is the tool you need in your life.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersI purchased this item because I was about to get a new hearing aid and my audiologist advised me to deal with the buildup of wax in my ear. For those who don’t wear aids, the ear produces a lot more wax when you stick a bit of plastic in it on a daily basis! I’ve had the ear cleaned out professionally before but thought I’d save some money by doing it myself this time, so I deceided to give this bit of kit a go. The scope connected via the app on my phone very easily, and it was no problem to get the tiny camera into my ear and have a good look around. It is a strange sensation, and not very pleasant, but not so bad either. And what I saw was absolutely gross! Disgusting! Seeing your earwax up close and personal is not a fun time! I had a go with the scraper attachment and was able to remove some bits of wax (you get several of these attachments with the device and they’re easy to fit). Unfortunately, because there was so much wax (my ear was almost completely blocked) that it wasn’t possible to make too much headway. It was almost solid, so I had to go and have micro-suction to clear it out. Not the fault of this device, which works as advertised, just that I was too far gone! So I would recommend this to deal with lighter wax build up, or to use on a regualr ‘maintenance’ basis. But if there’s a lot in there, it might be best to see a professional. All in all, a good purchase, but, be warned, ear gunk seen close up is the stuff of nightmares!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve always had to have my ears cleaned out – with a water syringe when growing up, and more recently with microsuction which is far more convenient, but costs a fair bit per treatment and it’s difficult to really know whether your ears are just itchy or truly blocked sometimes! I gave this a go just so that I could have a look inside, if I could clean it up at all it would be a bonus.

I’ve got to say, this has been a great investment. Whenever things get itchy I can take a look inside and usually scoop something out. It’s definitely going to drastically reduce the amount of treatments I need as I seem to be able to keep control of the build up. It’s more than paid for itself already.

The only negative things I would say are (a) the plastic spoons are not indestructible, one of mine has broken and I’m not sure you can buy spares, but you do get a few with the device so I’m good for a while yet; (b) the camera sometimes seems to stay in a fixed orientation and sometimes the picture rotates as you rotate the device, this seems pretty random and I can’t find a setting for it!; (c) the amount of time left on the device before you have to charge it is not accurate and runs out much quicker than the minutes quoted. But these are small gripes and nothing compared to the ability to finally see inside my ear!

Definitely recommended, and if/when I run out of spoons or something else goes wrong with it, I’d happily buy another.
