Having installed a new fence, I fitted these spikes to keep cats of the top as they claw the headers and ware them down. My old fence was completely destroyed by cat’s scratching the wood. They seem to do the job of keeping cats away from an expensive fence. A good investment.
These strips come with the option to cut them effortlessly ie a strip is three individual lengths moulded together. I wanted just the single strips to screw to my pergola cross beams to stop the pigeon’s congregating, worked a trea
These were very easy to install. I cut them into singular strips which was perfect to put on top of my fence as to keep cats out of my garden.
These have worked for me. Pigeons used to sit on the edge of our summerhouse and mess all over the decking. Fitted these on the edge of the roof and it has completely stopped this happening. I’ve also fitted them on the edge of the fencing and it has stopped them landing on there too. The great thing with these is you can split them in 3 so they go much further.
No assembly required. I used impact adhesive to mount on fence and trellises and it did the job perfectly. There are pre-drilled holes for screws if preferred
Single strips of spikes are easily cut with scissors yet the spikes are hard and robust . I chose grey as my fence is painted a mid grey. A smart appearance and deterrent that works. Small birds aren’t worried by the spikes as small feet can fit between the “teeth” of spikes. Excellent product fast delivery.
We have been having an issue with the local pigeons who enjoy sitting on our fences and pooing onto our path and patio.I liked this product because you are able to separate the three spike strips and have one long row of them which means you use less but still giving the same result.So far fingers crossed the pigeons have moved elsewhere.Really pleased.
It’s a great product, however I must be dealing with woodpigeons of a different variety. They still perch on my pergola with the spikes literally underneath them.
Having said that I would recommend them as they are sturdy and can be cut to fit any type of fence/surface.
Easy to fit, and does the job brilliantly. Neighbourhood cats are not impressed though. Have noticed pigeons & crows are not to keen either but the little birds are fine with them, which is a win win for us. Would definitely recommend.
I need to deter the pigeons from pooping all over my wall, fence and patio, so I only needed to use a single strip, not all three, on the trellising, so far no more pigeon poo.
Firstly the spikes themselves are fantastic. Easy to fix and extremely sturdy. Cut into single strips they cover a brilliant distance without compromising effectiveness.
Unfortunately they were advertised as Prime delivery but took a week to come via Royal Mail 48 hour delivery but it was a bank holiday and it was The Royal Mail, not a good mix. All in all thought great stuff.
