Very good product and highly recommended. I was pulling my hair out trying to find a suitable (non-toxic) product to use under water to repair cracks in my concrete ponds resulting in water loss. This product is fantastic and has helped. Only qualm is that it contains a small amount of concrete mix. I’d advise against applying it underwater as it must flows away from where you applied it underwater. Thankfully my fish are happy and unharmed so I would recommend this product for the purposes for which I used it. Beware though it does set very quickly so be ready to apply it after mixing with water. I hear the right consistency is that of smooth peanut butter.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our Usersjust received this item & am used to instructions. Ideal for small garden/outdoor jobs will not use in this present weather. We find it expensive but it’s worth buying in small quantities for us.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’ve now bought x2 boxes of this.

Very handy for little cracks and small jobs that don’t need a whole bag of cement.

Especially handy as it can be used in wet conditions. I needed to fix some broken and deteriorating old concrete around the drain. This did the job no problem.

When using this you get x2 sealed bags inside.

I used an old plastic container to mix up. Added a little water, mixed and then a little more if needed until it was a nice useable paste. No need to be too scientific.

Just used a small amount of powder and once you’ve done your job, if needed, mix a little more. It sets very quickly so don’t mix more than you can use in a couple of minutes.

    I’d definitely get this again.

I’ve never used anything like this but it was easy to use. I split it into a separate container so I didn’t have to work too fast. It does dry quickly. Used to repoint where the weeds were growing at the front of the house. Did the job well

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersHave used for repairing some garden troughs/planters where they had chunks chipped off during house move. This stuff sets really quickly so only mix what you can realistically use in 10 minutes, and be ready to use once mixed as the clock is ticking! It dried a light grey which was fine for me as it was getting painted anyway, but if repairing mortar it will be a different colour so would advise to be careful what you use it for.

Have used in the past on another job where I needed the repair to set quickly. It did the job perfectly.

It’s expensive for the amount you get, but I’d err on only using for highly specific small jobs where you don’t need a lot anyway.

Can’t repeat enough – it goes off (sets) super quick, if you have a bit to do, do it in small batches otherwise it’ll have set before you get chance to use it all and will end up with a lot of wastage.

This stuff is fantastic. I used this to fill a 60mm diameter x 90mm deep hole where a circular curtain pole end bracket had collapsed and pulled some poor quality old plaster off the wall. Apply water & PVA solution to the wall to ensure the cement bonds to the plaster, mix the cement adding water slowly a little at a time until you get the required consistency, apply the cement. It sets hard in about 15 mins. In 24 hrs it was rock solid enabling me to drill three 6mm holes into it with a hammer drill and not a crack in sight. Very impressed with the product.

I use this for crafts and I find if I use it on its own it’s quite hard to manipulate once it starts to set, so I brought some cement fibres and just a sprinkle into this mixed cement gives you a little bit longer to be able to work the cement for a little bit longer.
Once dry, if you have any fibres (they look like little hairs) on show you simply burn them off and they disappear from sight but it gives you a much stronger build, I find I get no cracks from adding the fibres

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersI used this product to repair the threshold of a double-door, and patching missing pointing between a brick wall and a wooden door frame. For both applications it was very effective, though the mixing instructions and setting times made no sense. Primed and painted the threshold to good effect.

Sets to a very hard substance. I was able to set screw anchors in it by putting the hardware in place with the screws in the anchors to get perfect positioning. This worked very well.

Tips: 1) Mix by trial and error. Use a bottle of water to control the amount of water you’re using.
    2) Mix in a bowl you won’t be needing for anything else: The sand in the mixture will scratch up the surface while you mix thoroughly.
    3) You can smooth off the profile of your repair with a damp sponge, BUT the surface will be a little rougher than if you finish with a smooth scraper or trowel. This is because sponging will take some of the cement from between the sand particles, making the sand stand out a tiny amount from the surface, giving it a rougher feel.

Be careful when mixing the cement with water as I did not add enough water and by the time I got to my outside step 1 minute later it was setting hard. I did another batch with more water and make sure you have enough consistency to work the cement into or on the surface.
Easy to work with and does the job well.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersOh my goodness, this stuff is so good. I read the reviews – use quickly because it sets fast, and as soon as you get the hang of it, this stuff is fantastic. I managed (with husbands help) to re-seat a large fence post, and 2 loose flagstones. It really DOES set quickly, and becomes rock hard, so make sure you have your item in the right place before you add the cement. What an excellent buy – this saved me a couple of hundred pounds with a builder ! BUT!!! you need help, one to hold the item in place, and another to spread the cement. Use disposable gloves, and an old spoon and bowl – you will never be able to use them again.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI had moved house not long ago and needed something to help hold my washing line up. I saw this and thought I would give it ago.

First off the delivery was slow. It did take about a week to arrive. Inside was two bags. It was really easy to use. With in about 20mins it was kind of set. I did leave it over night just in case.

So far the washing line has not fallen down, so it has done it’s job.

Been using this product for years as it is amazingly quick to dry and it sets as hard as a rock ! In summer it`s best to make many small mixes rather than one big amount as it dries within 10 minutes in the heat. Shame it is so expensive and a large job would work out pricey so I cheat and mix some of this with ordinary mortar to make it more cost effective.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI read the other reviews which said it sets very quickly, so l thought l was prepared, however it sets very very quickly and the first batch nearly caught me out. The three to one ratio is not quite right either, i would add water and mix in slowly until you achieve the right consistency, i.e. a semi watery paste. Do not mix until it is a thick heavy paste as you won’t get out of the garage quick enough to use it. I would reccomend only making very small batches at a time as you work. If you do make a large amount of cement in one go you will need to be an olympic standard bricklayer to get any use out of it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have dropped a star due to one of the bags in the box been damaged. Only a little was lost in the box, so I was still able to use. It mixes easy and is easy to use (first time for me using concrete). It has resulted in a good fix for garage floor.
Obviously value for money will always be an issue, because if you have the time you can buy 20kg bags for not much more. But for a ready mix, for small job this is perfectly acceptable.
I would and will be buying again.

Golden Review Award: 41 From Our UsersHappy with the results, but the instructions say to mix 3 parts water with 1 part cement.

Even after mixing, this ended up with a very soupy slurry which couldn’t be trowelled. I had to discard that batch, and then made a new one with what was left (this was too thin because Id ran out of cement, but I added sand to thicken it up). At this point I could trowel it on and it dried rock solid.

My advice is to completely ignore the instructions, and just add water a bit at a time to get the consistency you need

Read all the reviews about issues with water to cement ratio but is very easy and straight forward. Mixed up a batch in a few minutes added bit more cement each time got it to a consistency of thick cream. Used it to repair an external cracked / damaged window will. Worked a treat with total job taking about 20 minutes and it didn’t dry out. Felt a bit like I way icing a cake at times to try and get the finish smooth
