This is a really great tool
To have for helping young children. We found it to be very sturdy and durable as well as being lots of fun. Nice bright colours as well for the letters

Fun toy that is great for helping little ones recognise letters and start with phonics for basic short words. The flashcards feature pictures of the words in question, as well as an outline of the letters that children can then place the corresponding wooden letter on top of. The wooden pieces are brightly coloured and well made too, and the whole set comes in a little storage bag making it ideal for sticking in your bag and taking away with you when travelling. A great little toy!

These cards and wooden letters are so well made and are fun as well as educational.
The wooden letters are great for little hands to handle and mix up. The word cards are made of thick flexible plastic so they won’t damage or rip. They can also be used purely as prompt cars so he can tell me what the picture is.
Since getting and using this once or twice a week, my sons letter matching has improved greatly! Extremely affordable too which is great!

Apart from all the letters that as we knew would all disappear after the kids had got hold of it the first time(which actually happened!)the kids have really enjoyed playing with this spelling educational toy. The cards seem to be well made and the letters fairly robus

I received this item from the Amazon Vine Program.

The toy includes 28 two-sided flashcards and 52 wooden letter blocks puzzles.

This set looks well made. The wooden letters are bright and attractive to toddlers. It also has a smooth finish.

It can be used several ways. First it helps recognition by showing the illustration in the flashcards. The wooden letters can also be used to familiar the little one with letters before teaching him/ her short words or spelling.

The flashcards have the letters of the words outlined so it can help with letter retention & practice.

It costs 9.99 at the time of this review which is great value for money. Great toy – fun and educational at the same time.

This little sir is fantastic to engage a child to learn without it feeling like learning.

It also helps a child recognise by sight and feel each letter. Being able to touch and engage helps children to retain the information so are more likely to pick up the words quickly.

The cards are wipeable so the child can use a white bored pen on the to help with forming letters.

    Highly recommend

You get 2 of each letter and they are lovely painted wooden letters. So many activities can be done with them! There’s double sided word cards printed on shiny gloss card so likely to withstand some rough play or drool/spillages. Printed with lovely pictures and the outline of letters to match. Such a fun game for those new to phonics

    Such a good idea.

We’re trying the writing before spelling bit, but we are finding a lot of frustration which hampers learning.

To write you need to hold a pen, you then need to remember the shape..

So this approach makes it much simpler. our kid knows what letter shapes are but needs prompting.. and this helps with that.

Each child learns differently and I’m glad to say this works well for him

A very smart kit for preschoolers. It comes with the cards, letters and a handy bag to store them. The images are clear and the letters are colourful and my daughter absolutely loves playing with them. The only downside is that there are no capital letters which I found to be disappointing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and educational

This is such a good idea to help children learn words and colours. My 2 year old just enjoys playing with the wooden shapes but when we start to look at words this will be so handy

I am very impressed with this . It is simple to use and store or take along with you on holiday or grandmas house. Very well thought out with sturdy cards and wooden letters . Makes learning fun and not tiresome. The children love getting it out and making it into a good game and learning exercise. Great to see something that instills learning activities can be fun.

It looses a star for packaging.
I would have appreciated it more if The letters had been packed in a better way. There is a nice cloth bag you could put the letters in but I wish it came with maybe a small container for the letters so they don’t go flying round the house, getting lost.

That being said, it is a really useful activity. I appreciate the lower case and phonetic sound options for little ones to sound out.

The letters and cards are a reasonable size for little fingers and the pictures of the animals are sensible and not caricature that children have to look twice to figure out.

    Really good activity.

This kinda reminds me of a travel scrabble that I had when I was younger but for much younger children.
You get a bag to put the letters in and some cards with a word spelt out that you then place the letters onto.
Picking them out of the bag is more stimulating and there is a picture of the word being spelt to help.
Each letter is made from wood and is well painted in bright colours.

This is a lovely spelling game for toddlers.
It comes in a well presented box so, it would be a great gift for your little ones.
It contains 30 double sided flash cards with a cute design and 3 or 4 letter words. Wood letters of the alphabet in red, green, yellow and blue colours (each letter is twice)
The designs are in vivid colours and very cute!
The purpose of this game is for the child to recognise the design, read the word and then choose the right letters to write down the word.
It’s a fun way to educate our children through a lovely game that makes them feel happy and learn reading and spelling.
As a teacher, I recommend this product. Value for money. Arrived promptly.

This is very easy to follow and learn from. You simply fill the words on the diagram by using the alphabet letters. I like to practice with my daughter to boost her leaning while she’s at home and school holiday and breaks. All the wooden alphabet letters comes x2. It is very simple and she looks at the picture and we sound out the words using phonics together and she try to put it on the diagram, also the picture helps. Very educational and great way to help you child learn extra from home.

4.0 out of 5 stars Simply to follow and educational.

This is such a simple design that really works well. Educational and fun, the kit comes with 28 double sided flash cards that have a colourful picture depicting the word, two complete sets of the alphabet made from wood in bright colours. There is even a canvas bag to store the letters and cards.
It is great that there are two of each letter which can then be used for additional spelling games. I put a variety of letters in front of my granddaughter including the letters required for the card, this made it slightly easier for her to begin with.
A very good educational toy at a very reasonable price.

The box arrived slightly damaged but the product inside was great.

There is a bag of wooden painted letters – the edges of the letters are all smooth and the lower case letters are brightly painted. One small criticism is that there is nothing to distinguish the letters ‘b’, ‘d’, ‘p’ and ‘q’. There is a cloth bag for storing the letters which is plenty big enough to fit the letters in, easily. There are many three and four letter word cards, with monosyllabic words on both sides. They have a picture of the word and the word spelled out in dashed font. Whilst the word cards are made from a material that is resistant to some wear and tear, they are certainly not indestructible and could be folded quite easily if your child wanted to.

Overall, this is a fun spelling learning aid and only a couple of minor faults stopped me from giving this 5 out of 5.
