One pass over the patio did the job. Minus one star, as the pump handle was snapped on one side on arrival; the pump is still working, but extra caution is needed when carrying.
Got Glyphosate
I was sad to see Roundup, in my local supermarkets, had dropped out Glyphosate as its active ingredient. I would have been more effective using vinegar and dish soap. When I saw this on Amazon with Glyphosate I had no hesitation in buying it. I’m also hoping that the pump spray action is better than the 3 litre model. I might not get to use it until next summer. It does come well packed in a strong plastic bag. Hopefully it’ll keep me in weedkiller for a few years.
Fabulous - the first weed killer to do what it promises!
I’ve got a shingled parking spot outside my house which sprouts weeds like they’re going out of fashion.
I’ve tried so many different brands of weed-killer, and to my dismay seen the non-existant results time after time.
I even tried changing tactics and bought one of those handheld gas burners; again a waste of time.
In desperation i randomly bough this and – good grief – what a difference. Literally not a single weed a good fortnight after i applied this.
it ain’t cheap, but heck it’s worth it. 100% recommended.
Easy to use
The product was easy to use. However, I sprayed I sprayed when it was sunny and it rained overnight. Some of the weeds have died . It would’ve been more effective had it not rained. I will try again when the weather changes.
Perfect for weeding our your garde
Prior to purchasing Roundup my garden was starting to look like a jungle, with weeds quickly overgrowing everything else. I have tried many times over the years to weed them by hand but they always grow back and more. I was a but apprehensive using the pump spray as I didn’t want to harm the existing shrubs, flowers etc, but I need not have worried as with a bit of care you can easily target the what you want to get rid of. I am surprised how quickly the weeds died away and three weeks on I am left with a perfect weed free garden and the garden is now looking better than ever. I would recommend this product for a slightly larger garden as it does go a long way.
Definitely works on weeds
Used this on a small area of ground that was overrun with weeds of all kinds, took about a week to knock them down from the first application. I would use it again but sparingly as I am aware it will affect the soil viability. The handy spray system makes application easy but wind will may carry the spray to unintended locations, might be an idea to order some disposable gloves and a mask too as I am sure breathing this in isn’t a great idea.
Patience
The pump spray itself was well made and useful although you need to pump after a short spray. Maybe a holding handle to carry as you spray around the area as the pipe isnt long enough to cover a big area. The spray itself works to an extent if sprayed effectively on the areas with the most weed. You would also need to wait for a week as stated before seeing any results and as time goes by you can respray and repeat or wait and reap the benefits.
It does what it says on the can. This was easy to apply and was indeed fast acting. There was visible results after a few hours and then everything was completely dead after a day or two.
Just a warning for others though, in the instructions it claims you can twist the nozzle to adjust the way it sprays but this just causes it to fall off completely and getting it back on is a nightmare. I ended up with this stuff all over my hands as it caught me by surprise but I washed it off after about a minute or two without any skin damage or side effects.
Also please read the instructions for putting it away as you need to release the pressure by twisting the lid open and then closing it again. I can’t imagine it would be safe to store unless you do this.
I had a huge issue in my front garden as dandelions were all over the path and other weeds. I have constantly spent time taking the weeds out by the roots to no avail. I decided to buy this product as a last resort. Having used this product, it should have been my first resort! This product is easy to use. 20 to 30 pumps lasts for around 10 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised as the product had a slow flow of liquid instead of a spray. I would advise not to use this on a windy day as it can blow onto areas you don’t want. I gave it 2 or 3 days and every single weed was dead. 4 months later and there has been no regrowth. This is one of the best products out there and will save you a lot of time and effort! Well worth the price!
I did think at first this was a tad expensive but when you consider that you get 5 litres with no expiry date and the equivalent bottles from Home Thingies would be over 50 then this is good value. It works mega fast as well, you see results in an hour, the wand is a bit flimsy and don’t expect power spay out of it because what you get is about the same as a hand pump bottle which is good really. Nice and easy aiming closely at the weed with little bending down and no aching hands squeezing a lever, once pumped up it so easy to use pressing the trigger.

Works surprisingly quickly
Brought this for to kill weeds over a large area, but didn’t want to pay 50+ for sprayable weedkiller elsewhere!
Really easy to use and I love that I can walk along, and spray a large area without having to bend over!
There is loads in the bottle also and still have more than half of the bottle left to continue to spray other areas if needed.
2 days after spraying the weeds, they’re already showing signs of wilting and dying off, which is fantastic and surprised me that its already working!
Will buy again, given its efficiency, ease of use and reasonable price!
We bought this to use in our artificial grass and it worked a treat. Easy to use by pumping it and then spraying, the spray covered a good distant. No strong smell and the quality was good as the weeds were brown within a few hours.
This is a brilliant product, it’s design & build are brilliant with the push button pull out & close spout, it’s handle with it’s twist lock & it’s easy pump, jeez even the spray hose holds it’s wound position to place back in a section built into the tub for it.
Now for the product inside the tub & design, well, it works! It works extremely well, I just pumped away around 6 – 7 in the evening & sprayed along the all of the gaps in between the paving slabs on the patio & on the entry alongside the house & down the path that’s entrance to property & the next day I could see life leaving some of the smaller weeds, fast forward a few days & with a shovel & brush I removed the dead weeds leaving the areas that I have mentioned in this review completely weed free, I will definitely be buying this again when I’ve used up the rest of this first tub as the tubs quite large so it’s big enough to house plenty of the product in there, for example after I sprayed what I mentioned just going across the gaps in the paving slabs there’s still around about a little over a quarter of the tub left which I’ll use on any returning weeds if there are any?
And the product leaves a clear or clean kind of mark where you’ve sprayed it if it’s on paving & probably decking but it goes naturally after a couple of days, I just thought that I would mention that.
A great buy as it’s an excellent product, a 5* product all of & in every way.
EDIT: I used up the remainder of the product on an old small rockery area that I forgot that we had as it was so overgrown with weeds as no weeds had returned at all from where I mentioned in my initial Review & it killed off the smaller weeds there easily whilst leaving the larger ones so much easier to remove above ground level & then it was a case of removing what was left below ground level from the larger weeds that just tied in with the turning & airing the now weedless soil in that area.
I’m still 100% behind this product probably even more so PLUS the large green weed killer housing tank on this spray is recyclable too & easy to remove to recycle.
NOTE: It was used on the small area that’s pictured where I’ve just started making a rockery now that area was nothing but weeds & really thick weeds that this killed off & a shovel had to be used to thoroughly clean up & remove what was dead above & below ground, even the grassy area next to it was weeds I got them up with the help of this product, I then put down a thin layer of new topsoil over a spread of grass seed.
Does the Job
Use as directed and anything green will turn black in a short space of time (so be careful with it). Really useful for my patio which gets weeds growing up through the slabs killed the lot and nothing has come back yet so it has lasted longer than previous products.
Highly effective on a wide range of pesky weeds!
There’s no doubt that Roundup weedkiller does exactly what it proports to. Indeed, I have used it to great effect on the likes of nettles, ivy and even bamboo – although repeat doses maybe required. Highly recommended.
It really does work...
I have expensive Old York Flag Stones as half of my court yard garden… which is very large. Approx twice a year the weeds spring up between them. As i get older, i sometimes find it harder to de-weed the gaps and i find that instead of always, just pulling the weeds, i now need to do as much as i can and then use this product to finish it off. I have just done this for the Autumn and the garden looks great, with no sign of re-growth!

Does exactly what it is supposed to do.
sadly mine arrived with the pump handle broken in half – I managed a glued fix but the packaging could do with being more sturdy for the weight of the product – which makes it expensive for what it is.
This does the job and is easy to use, thanks to its all in one approach. and, you can re-use the bottle / pump as its easy to dismantle and change o rings and lub up for a spray to, in my case, clean ypour bike!

The product is easy to use and setup. It killed the weeds on my driveway within a day.
Although the spray is not very strong and it took longer than I expected, I got the results I was looking for.

I bought this as I have quite significant arthritis in my hands and the manual spray is very uncomfortable to use. This is effortless. I must say it means I’ve used quite a lot and will need to buy a refill but it’s a pleasure to use. Great results. I only sprayed these weeds yesterday and they look a lot less happy today!! It does the job… but it’s the pump facility on it. The last one I had. You had to keep squeezing the trigger. And I have RSI in the arm. So this one is great. Pump up the can. Squeeze trigger once for a controlled continuous diectional spray. For a good 40m coverage in a line. Before needing to pump pressure up again.. which is easie
I recently had a lot of issues with weeds in my garden at my new house and I just couldn’t keep them under control. I was considering hiring a gardener before I decided to try the Roundup Fast Action Weedkiller Pump ‘N Go Ready To Use Spray, 5 Litre. I have to say, it worked really well! Just wow! It’s like napalm for plants!
I’ve never done much gardening in the past and have only manually pulled out weeds.
I decided to give this a go as it felt like a never ending battle.
The instructions were very clear, the overall design, mechanism and quantity is fantastic especially for someone new to all this. It’s so easy and idiot proof.
When I tried this on plants, some showed results in 24 hours and some was within a week. But be rest assured, any plants this spray touches will receive a kiss of death and once the initial signs show, the result is inevitable. Sometimes, if it’s more that 2 days, I drizzle on a bit more to accelerate the guaranteed outcome.
I’ve honestly never had so much fun doing this especially after seeing the results, time and time again. Nobody should be allowed to have this much power!
Only warning which is a compliment to the product, is to be extra careful to spray it on plants you want to get rid of, if it touches something you like, unless you try and rise it thoroughly and quickly with water, it’s good bye for that plant.

It does the job
I had a little trouble getting it to spray but that may be my age, once it got going it was really easy to attack the weeds. It was more economical in the long run to buy it like this as I have a large paved area and constantly using a trigger spray was becoming difficult. For me this worked well and the weeds did die.
does the job, no messing abou
This is great for patios and gravel, as you can target small areas or single plants and when they are gone they are gone. I even did our neighbours gravel to save them the hastle of weeding and along our shared parking area. Havent seen a weed in weeks now, so it saves a lot of time. The main bonus is weeds that grow between patio stones are now gone, as they actually cause a shift in the slabs and can be destructive to a level patio. Brill stuff.

I read the reviews that said the wand wasn’t up to much and it doesn’t last ten minutes after pumping. Nonsense, great wand and lasts for ages after being pumped. Very pleased.
This is easy to assemble and use , but even after pumping it for 30 times at least for the spray , it is still very feeble and the pump does not last 10mins as stated , but what I have sprayed is dying back , but as long as you know the spray is feeble it will take longer than stated.

Does what I bought it for to kill weeds but it’s not very sturdy cheap plastic pump action and the so called extendable wand is too short still have to bent over the spay nozzle is rubbish difficult to adjust if at all expensive for what it is only thing I can say it does kill the weeds very small ones just showing kills within a few hours larger say several inches takes towards a week
good product but poor spraying tool
his is an effective weed killer but the built-in sprayer is very poor.
after about 10 mins of use it stopped spraying a mist and just squirted like a water pistol.
there’s an adjustable end on the sprayer but this made no difference.
I’ll probably have to pour the contents into a proper sprayer and use it that way.
also, when you “pump” to prime the sprayer, it’s likely you’ll mash your knuckles into the sharp edges at the base of the plunger – be careful!
took a few doses but worked
I had a number of weeds on the driveway.
I applied 3 doses of this over a week and by the end of the second week the weeds are dead.
I’d hoped it would work more quickly with a single dose… I’ll try it on some others and see how it compares
update: I’ve found this to be far more effective on dry (and especially sunny) days, in which case a single squirt seems to take down small weeds within 24-48 hours
My back yard, which is a mix of block paving and stone chips, became infested with weeds over the course of about a month, back in June. Some grew to nearly waist height!
Since then I’ve been waging a 1-man war against them and am happy to report its nearly won. Just follow the instructions to assemble and prime the unit for spraying, then liberally douse the weeds and leave for a few days, while it does its work.
Once wilted or dead they are much easier to remove with the roots intact – hopefully ensuring it takes a lot longer for more to grow back. Its pretty potent stuff and certainly dealt with my weed problem.
This is a good product, no doubt, in terms of killing the weeds in the patio. In less than 24 hours, can already see positive results. Must say it does the job well. However, I am seeing that it has left white patches in the patio. I am not sure if it is permanent or going to go away in time. I hope it goes away as otherwise this product is not suitable. See pictures where there is a clear demarcation of where the solution is sprayed and the patio discoloured against areas where it is not sprayed.
I was hesitant about buying this for my grandparents, for many reasons (possible cancer links, the fact that they own two cats etc) but their garden and paths had become overgrown with weeds and moss which would have cost them too much to remove by local professionals/gardeners.
So I applied this about 8pm when the two cats were indoors for the night – the tub says to wait 3 hours before exposing pets to it? I’m still not comfortable about this products “safety”.
First things first – there is no way someone elderly or disabled could use this comfortably, you need to pump it at least 25 times to get a decent spray coverage. Second I found it easier to carry with me as I sprayed, at first it was a little heavy but of course lightened more I sprayed. The spray itself can be focused into a targetted spray which made it easy to blast weeds between the spaces in the paths and weeds at a distance, or a wider spray nozzle for larger coverage. It’s not perfect but it does the job.
Second – It works! It kills everything! (which concerns me) Within three days the moss was easy to brush away, the weeds were dead or dying and by the end of the week It’s going to be easy to get to work removing all those dead weeds. But it does kill everything, grass, plants, flowers, mushrooms, small tree roots, so don’t use it near anything you want to live! But I think by the end of the week everything I wanted to kill will be dead.
– I would not use this on spaces where I intend to plant fruit/veggies/anything edible.
– It leaves a powdery substance behind once dried, when I returned the next morning the weeds on the path and surrounding path were covered in this white powder that I had to brush away. (I probably didn’t but again the safety of the cats is what concerned me)
– It does have a strong(ish) chemical smell to it (duh!) something a neighbour noted, she was sensitive to the chemical, but thankfully she didn’t need to be near it nor does anyone else. So I would not recommend using this near your house unless it’s not near a window or you don’t plan on opening that window for a couple of days.
– Personally I only recommend this if you have a heavy-duty weed problem that a vinegar/salt/more traditional/natural solution can’t take care of. It does the job without question but I do wonder how “Safe” it really is. I don’t intend to scare anyone, just urge caution.
