Great running vest – albeit it does sit quite high on your chest. No issue packing a phone but my word, when you take your phone out at the end of your run, it’s soaked in sweat. This thing is not waterproof or sweatproof. Your phone and the case will need a good drying out. As others have pointed out, it also lacks a hole/space for wired headphones.
This would be great if you have a flat chest but as I don’t it was definitely not suitable. Pull it down at the back to get the pouch above the bust and it bulges out at the back and looks ridiculous..pull the pouch down under the bust and the back sticks in the back of the neck and again looks daft. Also needs a hole for earphones if you’re still wired like me. But hey – if you’re a guy or a small chested gal and you use earbuds – probably fine, you get free reflective laces and access to a free running music list on Spotify.
Exactly what I was after to begin my running journey. I can put in the pocket my iPhone 12 Max pro, keys, and lip balm. It doesn’t move when running, but do bear in mind I have a small ches
As the weather warms up I was finding the arm band phone holders annoying as either too tight to hold them in place, or slipping as you heat up and start to sweat. I’d been reluctant to try a vest type as I thought they would also be too hot or rub, but a few weeks in I’ve found this great, stays in place so no rub and not noticably hotter so far. Well made so I’m confident this will last a long time.

Having repeatedly looked at the rival FreeTrain (I think it’s called) I searched for alternatives. Reviews were strong with many commenting it was better than the better known FreeTrain option. No issues to date. Fits nicely, pockets for phone (S20) & keys fit snuggly, and there’s no issue whilst running.

This belt is one of my essential items for running. I tend to have the house keys & love to listen to audible while jogging.
The phone (Samsung s21 ultra) fits like a glove the belt stays intact while out n about.

Being a lump, or fat whatever the PC term is I was finding it to get a running vest that not only fitted but was comfortable even when running – and this is perfect. The only thing I find a bit annoying is the key pouch is slightly too small – getting my car in there with the attached clip can be difficult to put in and get out (at least I know it won’t fall out) but like to have the clip on just in case. There is plenty of adjustment to fit the larger person and lucky skinnier person and it doesn’t look hideous or emphasises the moobs. I’ve got one of the larger mobile phones (remember the days when we all wanted the smaller phones) and it fits perfect. One thing that Runitude have perfected is the fact it done bounce up and down whilst running, jump roping or working out it stays snug with no discomfort and for the price you is pretty cool. Thank you Runitude for making my works better – it’s now also increased the choice of my shorts too, as I only seemed to work out in shorts with zipped pockets.

Simple but very effective running vest which is very comfortable and easy to adjust. Only slight issue if I am being picky, it is sometimes a bit of a squeeze to get my phone in the pouch (iPhone 12 pro max) if I have running gels held in the pouch at the same time. Maybe I should just buy a smaller phone next time
I bought two of these at the same time, one each for my husband and I. We’re very different shapes of course one tall man, one busty lady!
The fit is excellent and I honestly didn’t even feel it or notice I was wearing my phone (iPhone 11). I like that it fits into the pouch whilst still in its protective rubber case. A key would fit nicely too, without scratches screen. Both of us prefer the shape, design and fit over the popper fronted ones previously owned. There’s no ‘bounce’ with this; it’s great. Previously owned popper fixings are good but poppers failed us – I’m impressed and optimistic about the longevity of this product. Neat, smart packaging appreciated, spare laces a very nice touch. Suggested or improvement a slight colour change option so we can differentiate which is mine and which belongs to my husband. Ideally both still black but different coloured stitching or logo perhaps? We’re good at sharing but have it adjusted to fit us exactly.

I needed somewhere secure and discreet to store my new Samsung S22 Ultra on me while at work, pockets on my uniform are almost completely useless for this purpose. The centred position and wide shoulder straps mean I can wear this for a 10 hour shift and not have aching shoulders after compared with standard non-sport phone shoulder holsters. I also needed to be able to access my device quickly with minimum fumbling this vest fits nicely under my zipped fleece unobtrusively, although a tight-ish fit (even with a slimline case) the pouch stretches a little before the handset will go in, believe this is a good thing, my device doesn’t move, not even a little bit, also this vest is very comfortable, its uncanny how well it fits me, I’m a 5ft 8′ male with slim/athletic build and can barely notice it at all fits like a glove. Compared to some other phone vests i have tried, this one seems to use better quality materials throughout and the stitching is of superior quality, best i have seen comparing with 3 other manufactures. The key pockets could do with being a little bigger my car key only just fits in the left pocket, the right side has a small clip on the inside which may be good for 1 or 2 door keys, there is also an inner pocket in the phone pouch which could fit a credit card and maybe a few folded notes.
One thing to note, if you do have a phone the same size as an S22 Ultra (6.8 inch screen)and want to use wired headphones, your out of luck since many if not most handsets do not include 3.5 mm jacks and require an adapter sold separately, which would make the length of the phone to big to fit it the pouch.
the phone pouch section is made fully of neoprene so should have some water/sweat resistance.
well worth the price to keep your precious expensive mobile life safe and sound.
*This is my initial review. However, Runitude contacted me about the issues, and after a small redesign think they have solved the issues I had. They offered to send me a vest free to try, but I have agreed to pay if it works so my second review can be subjective. I’ll post again after I receive it, but so far I’m hugely impressed with the way they listen to feedback and take ideas on board. As a company they are highly recommended. *
I was hoping for a solution to carrying a phone and keys, rather than an arm holder, but this isn’t it. The phone holder will only take the larger phones listed if you remove them from the protective case, I have an S20 Ultra. It’s also certainly not waterproof! The zip isn’t weatherproof, and the rear of the pocket is ventilated cloth!
The key pocket won’t take a large keyless or remote fob car key without a stretch. If you put door keys in the pocket you might want to line the back to stop them digging in as there’s not much padding material in the rear of the pocket.
The left ‘pocket’ isn’t big enough for anything, if it was longer you could at least squeeze a gel pack in it.
It has the potential to be great, but for me isn’t I’m afraid.
** Second review**
Now I’ve had the replacement holder for a few weeks I can now write a review on the improvements made. The new vest now has a fully neoprene phone pocket so it’s very water resistant. It’s also much larger so larger smartphones will fit. My S20 ultra fits with a flip style case. The larger pocket gives space for a couple of gel packs as well. I am so impressed with the improved item I’ve paid for it rather than returning it.
This company is highly recommended for talking to customers and then acting on issues, all the way to production! Highly recommended.
