The stair gate was really easy to install. You have the option of screwing it into the door frame/ wall or pressure fitting.
I’ve got two and both have been pressure fitted. They come with a sticky pad for pressure fitting which has meant that in the 4 months I’ve had it installed it hasn’t slipped once, which is a big improvement compared to other gates I’ve used.
It’s very sturdy and easy enough to open one handed once you’ve got the knack.

We had difficulty finding gates that fit our staircase due to the style of the bannisters but these are a great fit and do the job.

Easy to open and close and I think it will be a while before my little one figures out how to open them himself.

Used to keep my dog in the kitchen so she can have a whole room while I’m out rather than a crate. Pretty simple to install and hasn’t moved since!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBrilliant product, if you have a dog or an athletic child. READ INSTRUCTIONS SLOWLY. Easy to install, suggest using a tape measure following the instructions. I bought the rectangular cussion blocks for more surface area to cover, works a treat. Finished product is quite strong on design, as there are two locking/fixing points to keep the gate closed/locked. First class service/first class product. All items needed for fixing are included. Though you can use other pads to hold the gate that are twice the surface area for a little extra cost on the same web site. All in all 10/10, well done guys.

This baby gate is so easy to fit and doesn’t need any drilling either so your doors and walls don’t get ruined. It fits by extremely strong suction which I wasn’t confident about but it is amazing! Mine is to keep my two dogs in the kitchen, one of which is a standard daschund which are known for their strength. It withstands him easily and hasn’t budged! It has a two handed opening operation but can be closed one handed. It’s tall which is a must have if it’s for keeping dogs at bay to prevent them jumping over. I highly recommend this baby gate.

Our springer spaniel could jump over our standard stair gate so purchased this tall gate to prevent her doing so. It was successful.
Was easy to install but just a little harder to open with my arthritic fingers as have to squeeze the underside button whilst pulling top button across. Everyone else manages to open it easily enough though.

Not difficult to fit/install but awkward to – the tiny spanner provided to tighten the nuts was probably designed for the very children the gate prevents from from getting at the stairs – I do have very large hands but even so – very frustrating! But I do persevere! It is a great gate – extra tall which makes perfect sense – don’t forget we have to open the gate after coming down the stairs which means bending forward! But with this gate, with babe-in-arms no worries!

Great addition if you have the product already. I have used this for my kids plus to keep dogs out of places where they should not be. Easy to use if you follow the instructions. It is a well designed system that copes with changes to what you need it to do for you. Well made and sturdy. Quality materials clearly used which is SO important.

This is a very versatile extension and so easy to use!
We have extended the gate we already have and everything fixed together ok with no qualms.
It’s now stopped our dogs from running like maniacs to the door when the bell rings, usually it’s a fight to try get there before them but this has solved that issue!

The item being reviewed is the extension to the “Modular 3 panel gate”, although I do have the gate itself. Overall, this gate and the extension is of high quality and made of heavy, sturdy metal. Despite it being light weight, it can be utilised single handed which makes opening it and closing it easy, and it is able to weight bear under pressure, therefore there is no need to worry about it becoming damaged when force is applied by your child.

The gate comes with all the required screws and instructions on how to install it, including how to add your extension. It is easy to attach to the gate itself and can be attached to the wall using the screws that are included in the packaging. There is a template which you can use to make sure that you can correctly align the holes before you drill your wall.

The extension has hinges which allows you to connect it to the gate with ease, and three panels on the gate itself to fit between your doorway, stairs or any opening that you can think of. The extension itself allows you use as many as you require and makes a versatile option for those who are using the gate in corners opposed to doorways. The gate is 72 cm tall (2.3ft) by 72 cm wide and is tall enough to keep ages 6-24 months or a pet from accessing it.
The gate is very easy to clean and despite being white you don’t have to worry about any discolouration as long as it is cleaned regularly with wipes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Versatile extension for non typical doorway users

We’ve actually used this not to extend our existing stair gate (which is excellent, by the way) but to block some gaps in our landing banisters at the top of our stairs, where the bars set too far apart to stop our grandson from squeezing through them. It’s held in place with two reusable zip ties. It’s utterly perfect for this – we’re so pleased to have solved our problem.

This panel is ideal for when you have a larger doorway or a walk way that needs to be closed off for children or animals it fits together with the main get to extend it, its secure and easy to use and can pack away flat, easy to keep germ free and wipe clean. An item that I would use again.

This system exceeds our expectations in terms of versatility and quality. It’s robust, well-designed and cleverly thought out, enabling it to fit a range of widths, especially with added extensions. You could easily move it between wide and narrower gaps but only if you fixed it to the wall each time. Having said that, it could of course be used free-standing, just temporarily.

The gate is easy for an adult to open single-handed and can be slammed shut. The panels slot together easily and are released simply by pressing recessed buttons with a pencil, screwdriver or similar.

The gate and extension panels make an impressive system. They seem well worth the asking price.

This gate is working for its intended purpose, which is to temporarily discourage my dogs from coming into the bedroom while I recover from surgery. However, the latch to close it doesn’t work because there is a gap between the gate and the frame. I admit this could be an installation error, but I really don’t see how it could work unless the whole thing was installed at an angle and with great force on one side.
That said, it’s doing the trick because we just use our toes to flick down both of the little plastic pegs at the bottom which prevent the gate from opening the wrong way. Certainly more fiddly than using the latch as intended, but it does what it needs to do. This solution wouldn’t hold up to a very determined dog or a toddler though.
The gate itself seems sturdy enough and the manufacturing looks like good quality.
I’m happy with what I got for the price I paid, particularly as I had read all of the reviews and knew there was a fairly good chance it wouldn’t work perfectly.
