Great scales
This is the 2nd pair of these scales I’ve bought. I was so impressed with them I decided to purchase again for my 14 year old grandson, who is taking an interest in cooking and baking.

Excellent scales all round
The beauty of these scales is that they respond to very small measurements I.e. if you add a gram of butter to your bowl – it will show on the display which is useful if counting calories, syns, etc. They are an attractive looking scales to have on any kitchen surface.
Great for the price
Love these. For the price they are really quick to measure when adding weight and love they have a AAA batteries wichnlast sooooo much longer than the little button batteries some scales take.
Buy once.
As a large scale I cant see how these can be any better.
Flat large glass surface area, solid build with rubberised feet.. sits on granite work surfaces without slipping.
Large well lit digital display.
Can tell these will last many years.
Great quality and importantly stable
I love these scales. We are currently dieting and weighing out all of our food. They are so easy to use and most importantly very stable. They also feel really well made and strong.
I am really enjoying using these scales. I have come from an old fashioned set with an analogue dial so these have taken any guesswork away – especially with my dodgy eyesight! Love the zero function too which speeds up the process of combining ingredients into the same container. Easy to read measurements and easy to clean – couldn’t ask for more
Love these scales so far, decent size but still compact and slimline. Really clear display and responsive scales. They stay on a decent amount of time as well when weighing ( I had a cheap and cheerful pair before that kept switching off mid weigh which was driving me crazy!). Also like the zero button being on the side and actual buttons rather than touch ones as they didn’t work well on my old scales (too sensitive or unresponsive with wet or messy hands)
I rarely offer product reviews but this has prompted me to do so. This is a really modern and very high quality scale, so much so that my visiting brother asked to have mine and I ordered another. Looks great and works brilliantly in my kitchen. Would definitely recommend.
Lightweight and easy read display
My kitchen scales finally gave up the ghost after many years of good service – I replaced them with the Salter Mini-max model. I’m very happy with the new scales – the display is set to one side – much easier to read! The scales work perfectly by reducing readout to zero before adding next ingredient – couldn’t be better. Thanks
I don't like the buttons
Great size scales for weighing large things. The control buttons are too hard to press and don’t always tare very well. Next time I will definitely buy touch screen control scales. Also very chunky like bathroom scales. Overall they are ok but far from perfect.
Excelle
Finally a kitchen scales that is big enough for me to add ingredients directly to a saucepan. Is big enough to weigh the largest bird or joint of meat and the display is huge … so easy to read. Can chop ingredients on it. It is a little on the large to store …. but I slide in the side of a cupboard on its side .. so no problem. Would highly recommend..
Good Quality
I bought this scale to use when measuring out dog food. The one I had was too small to see the readout when the bowl was on it! This is perfect for the job. It’s very easy to use and very easy to clean. I would not hesitate to recommend it.
My old one was the same brand and I had it for over 10 years and it still works. I know it’s only a kitchen scale but it made my (sad?) life a lot easier :=)
Looks stylish and easy to use
I wanted a larger scale and this fits the bill perfectly. The display is nice and bright and on the bigger side too, which makes reading the numbers easier.
Looks good and is sturdy. (I have dropped this on the floor once or twice and dropped things on the scale too !) Still works perfectly !
Arrived, larger than expected but I knew it was large. Good chopping board and also space to put the pressure cooker and Jam saucepan on. Screen large but buttons a little fidlu – they are under the screen probably because it is a chopping board. Would be perfect if the buttons has a click and were a little bigge
An Excellent good value produc
An excellent product. Nice and easy to use and big numbers so I don’t need to put my specs on.
I like the fact that I can also weigh in liquid measurements.
My only niggle, not anything to do with the product, is that person at Amazon who stuck the dispatch label onto the scale’s box rather than putting the item in a packing box. Not good if you wanted to give as a gift.
Really like these scales as they measure by 1g degrees which my existing scales don’t. Also measures in good old imperial measures. Only drawback is if putting a plate on the scale for weighing out a quantity of a food item rather than directly onto the scales, the plate obscures the upward facing display. So now I put a bowl on the scale and a plate on top of that and then I can see the display!
