Sandisk are the only cards I’ve used for years of photo and video capture. I don’t shoot higher resolution video than 4K but I regularly shoot bracketed timelapse frames at 6K equivalent per image and I’ve not had a card fail or burp on me yet.

We have a couple of trail cameras that we use every day (or should I say night) to capture the nocturnal activity that comes into the garden. The foxes and hedgehogs are the stars and the video quality from the cameras is quite good, so a good and well trusted card is essential.

For me these are the best.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve had loads of different sandisk SD cards, and most recently, have been purchasing the 128gb. On a 24MP fujifilm X-T20camera, using solely a raw format, i get over 2500 photos. The cards have never failed, and can be purchased so cheaply in the regular sale, you can buy them when cheap, and keep them as records, rather than transfer everything to a hard drive, then format them for reuse

I can’t say anything about video, as I dont use them for that, but when using them for taking multiple photos per second, like at an air display, these have always worked fine for that. There is a limit, but nothing i’ve ever managed to hi

You will need UHS-II compatible reader to get the best possible transfer speed out of this card when copying or working with the files on PC. As per screenshot – performs as expected.

5.0 out of 5 stars Performs as expected

Over the last 12 years have used SanDisk 90% of the time with over 100 purchased and NOT one failure. From Extreme to Extreme plus! Buy the best and they will give you great results and reliability you can depend on.
Have unfortunately tried some cheaper SD cards but reliability was poor and with a quite a few failures.
Just buy SanDisk you will not be disappointed in my view!

I recently purchased a SanDisk 128GB Extreme SDHC card and I am very impressed with the performance. It has reliable, fast read & write speeds, which makes it ideal for my video and photography needs. I have found that it is able to store large volumes of data without any lag time. Highly recommend.
