This Penguin is hilarious! We have had so many good laughs with it, at times we have left it on and forgotten until it picks up what we are saying and repeats it back.
At times what it picks up can sound muffled because of distance and the microphones do detect noises like doors shutting etc. instead of detecting voice only.
The Penguin moving whilst repeating what you had said is funny and with children it keeps them entertained for ages.
The playback sounds like a VHS being rewind, it’s fast but you can tell what is being said. There are no volume controls for the Penguin so it works off once volume setting regardless of if you shout into it’s microphone or quietly speak into it.
For a little toy it’s brilliant fun, not just for children but adults to lol. Picks up every sound your child makes and repeats it back with movement and lights. Good quality fun all around. Only one thing though, for some reason it struggles with repeating ” dada ” back to you!!! Don’t know why but our one does. Not a problem but just giving readers heads up on it. Ordered this for my 18 month old, the first one only worked for 24 hours and broke, seller sent second one immediately which was received in a day, and my daughter absolutely loves it – thanks very much!
It’s very good product but it does find it hard to pick up voice a little as you have to basically talk loud towards it but excellent features prerecorded features and excellent choice of songs. A 8/10 for sure
Bought for Grandchildren, 8 month old loved this, variety of tunes that got her really excited and nearly crawling which was the hope. It was soft and robust enough for her to pick up (under supervision), lovely colours and life like design, very pleased much better than expected.
3 yr old Grandson unfortunately terrified of it, but that doesnt detract from a great entertaining produc
I received faulty item which failed to record certain sounds and words but the seller offered full refund or replacement immediately so pretty happy with how they dealt with the situation. Would prefer if I had no issue hiwever, seller was excellent in resolving it.
This is one of the best present I ever bought! It was bought to a person with learning disability and the smile on her face when she realised it’s talking was everything! Dancing with it, singing and talking! Best interactive item ever and it’s good value for money!
Second time just about lucky.
First one returned as battery compartment screw was no use and didnt light up.
Second one full functional, however stitching isnt as good as the first one returned for not lighting up etc.

Is a novelty, im sure it will wear off quickly on xmas day lol.
Sound is great, nice and clear and programming is fun.
Lights are nice and bright.

Falls over easily when its dancing

The company have been intouch and sent out a replacement which is in perfect condition and fully functional
Happy with the replacement, great customer service and disnt have to send back the original
Has a funny playback of your voice that even keep the grown up kid in the house amused.
One point of caution is it does have a little lose scarf that you can either sew it on to the cactus or remove it for safety.
My singing cactus was faulty when it arrived didnt pick up certain words so contacted supplier and within days they had replaced it ,customer service was excellent I didnt have to return the faulty one either there service was all about customer satisfactio
Brought this for my granddaughter after seeing a video clip sent to me
She was absolutely spell bound by it
There is an abundance of different songs all playing along to flashing lights
It mimics your voice in a very high tone which is hilarious in its self
Definitely recommend this to anyone who has a young child It brought the adults as much fun as the childre
I found this product by coincidence, and was worried would it be that good as shown in video and photos. But it was a wonderful Toy. My nephew always keeps himself busy talking to this and laugh a lot as well. However it requires to speak up loud but i don’t know how but my nephew got used to talk to this.
