very happy with this,quiet and effective. I find the timer very useful. Instructions are not very clear but it’s not difficult to figure out how to assemble. Good value for moey.
Does the job
With the heatwave needed one for my room. And I leave it on the lowest setting still get a nice breeze throughout the night. It oscillates so that’s a plus point. With a higher setting the room will be lot cooler. Do recommend this fan doesn’t take up a lot of space eithe
Bought this in a bit of a panic due to the impending red heat warning! Probably could’ve got one cheaper elsewhere but I’m very happy with it. Ordered it last night it was delivered just now, out the box, fitted the base, jobs a good un!
It’s not mega loud, I like a bit of background noise to sleep anyway so it won’t phase me. It works perfectly on all settings and I think it will keep us from boiling alive over the next couple of days. Bonus!
Does the job, but loud.
This fan does the job, does not have a remote control though has a good timer function. Controls are a bit redundant as you need to set both the timer (as a time or as just on) as well as a fan speed for it to work. It is also much louder than expected so is difficult to sleep next to if you are a light sleeper. I have since found putting a weight on top of it when functioning makes it slightly quieter.
Brought it to cool my bedroom. It works but is noisy though you do get used to it. A big minus is the power cord as mentioned by others it’s not long probably less than a meter in length. So If you want to put it at assistance from anything I do strongly recommend you find a sparky to change the cable for you. (They advise that you don’t use an extension cable).
We received our Signature tower fan at the tail end of a UK heat wave with temperatures pushing toward a blistering 40 degrees. The fan was advertised as having a one hour timer and there was mention of a remote control. The fan that arrived actually had a 2 hour timer – which is handy, and no remote control – which is a bit of shame. But considering the price of 26.99 we weren’t surprised a remote wasn’t included and it doesn’t hugely hamper the use or enjoyment of the fan.
The fan comes boxed with a plastic base provided in two pieces that need attaching together at the base of the tower, which is a fairly simple task. The build quality is good enough for the cost and the fan is quiet during operation. Whilst not whisper quiet the fan motor and oscillating function don’t create any loud noises and sleeping with the fan running hasn’t been a problem.
We think the fan provides a decent amount of air movement considering its small size (similar to a standard 12″ fan) and it looks good stood in the corner of the room. We’re happy with it and would consider buying another.
