Used this to install a car charger- enabled drilling the depth of the porch directly into electricity meter cupboard resulting in a very neat installation! Worth availing yourself of some 600mm drills to get started- suspect the thinner 12mm drill could whip if used to start!
There is a fair bit of drag on the drill (being 1500mm long) it soon exhausted my Makita 18v cordless sds! Reached for my mains powered drill to finish off! No problems! Really neat job, drills performed well! Drilled a combination of brick and light concrete block.

Good for drilling through thick concrete. The small sizes are relatively easy to handle, the large 24mm size can be quite a handful to handle when using at depth and an awkward upward slant. Got the job done running a 22mm pipe through the resulting hole.

Cheap, long, and surprisingly straight. Only needed the 12mm but this set was cheaper than an individual bit. Has made short work of 30 inch stone walls with no fuss, using a shorter(260mm) bit to get the holes started.

15 quid for these bad boys when I bought them, how can anyone argue with that. They are huge, too big for what I needed but hey, I thought I’d go large. Pelted through brick with ease. Love em

Everyone should have a 1m drill bit. Needed to drill through 15mm plasterboard then a 55cm cavity and then two skins of bricks. This made short work of it and I felt like a ‘real’ man while using it!

I bought these three drill bits to make a hole at the side of my fireplace to run a power cable. They arrived quickly and were perfect for the job. They are good quality and come with a lifetime guarantee.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is the second pack of these drills I have bought as I am working on a LARGE renovation on a French property
and therefore have many large 1000mm to 1500mm holes to be drilled and value for money -even taking into consideration the postage costs – these are GOOD value for money. Delivery by Amazon was as usual extremely
    quick.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersRead your drill specification it is probably 5% of the length of these things for masonry. My Bosch and Dewalts managed to shear the 24mm SDS chuck. And the middle one broke its BIT wings. The smallest diameter survived but we are talking about a 300 year old house with Flint (stone construction) about a Meter through the wall. Not surprised the house has burned out more drills and bits than I care to remember. I challenge any |Drill Bit maker to a duel to the death and my House will kick your ass every time. Anyhow I went out a got a Dewalt “SDS to regular chuck” to keep drilling 14 hours of drilling later and I got through. Unbelievable. I cannot really criticize these drills they are really pretty good it’s just that my house is a Driller Killer! PPS went to a well known very large DIY store and bought their cheapest 500w drill and it was belching smoke within 30 seconds so went back to the dewalt / bosch and bought the dewalt SDS to std chuck. Buy these if you need more the 1 meter of drilling – there is no option Silverline are the only company that do this length believe me I looked.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’m a self employed electrician and bought these drills for one particular job. I don’t use drills of this length all the time but I always keep one or two in case they’re needed. Anyway, my old set were not up to the job when I last used them so I binned them and purchased these. Had them for a few months now and had some use out of them and as a long time drill user, I can say that these are a good set of drills. You will not buy better for the price, delivery was quick and so far I think they’re really good value for money. Recommend highly.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThese drills were so cheap that i feared the worst when purchasing, I needed one 12mm hole to take a 12mm earthing rod which was 4feet long. The three drills were cheaper to buy than one. The drills arrived, two days after ordering, so well packed that the box looked like a wardrobe. Drilled hole through precast concrete in minutes, with a run off the mill Black and Decker Hammer drill. Drill bit unmarked.Best buy ever.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWhat a bargain. You could pay three times the amount just for one bit. I almost expected the bit tip to break (I needed the 16mm size) but after four holes through two feet of concrete it’s still perfect. Okay, all bits dont last for ever and they could break at any time but at this price it’s worth the money.

As with all SDS drills, don’t push; let the hammer action do the work.

I guess you can’t really get excited about drill bits but the 16mm I needed did the job admirably so I am well happy.
