Though I had a bad start with theses lights from the company I purchased from. I order two but got one. Sent them an email stating I only received one to which I got an instant reply and an apology from them . They then sent me another one to make it a pair. And all I can say that they are great lights easy to fit give good illumination and last through out the night. Highly recommended them as well as the company who sold them to me .

No need to wire things in to the mains etc, these work with the sun, as long as you place them somewhere that gets a lot of sun then they should work fine.

Not the range of wired in security lights, but for what they are I cannot fault them, had them for a few months before reviewing just to make sure.

Very good lights, strong and sturdy and very easy to install. Sensor picks you up about 7m away. Very pleased with this product.

These lights are so simple to set & very easy & straight forward to install & the brightness & light they provide are as good as 240v lights. I will definitely be buying another few pairs to fit all around our house & garden.

We use this as lights to give us a bit more security around the house. They’re very good , in the summer they charge up a lot and then I’m gonna stay brighter longer but in the winter obviously there’s not as much sun so you need to angle the solar panel to get as much sun as possible

These are fantastic and super bright. Covers a really good area and is really easy to angle the lights to cover the ground you want. I’m very happy with them and there solar powered too so no worrying about wiring

These solar floodlights are excellent for my yard. They are motion sensor and solar powered so i dont have to worry about turning them off and on. The lights are extremely bright even on duller days. Good for security purposes.

These security lights are defiently a upgrade to previous lights with 3 different options to choose from which is great as you can choose the brightness and the range.
The solar power strength is fantastic, even on a cloudy rainy day these do still come which is quite incredible even if they aren’t as bright as they would be after a full charge these do still give off a great brightness .
Excellent value for money, very well made, comes with all attachments required all you ave to do is decide where you want to place these and use the appropriate tools to install.
I find these lights a lot more aetheticaly pleasing comapred to larger block security lights which only give a set range these lights give you 3 different angles of range.

I received this lights in a perfect shape with 2 brackets for installing and 2 sets of screws.I can sincerely tell that this lights worths the money because they works perfect with a powerful lighting and a long lasting battery that after one day of solar charging resist for all night long.Motion sensor works perfect at 5 m but I think works at longer distances too.I get a wide range of light because they are made from 3 moving parts that you can adjust as you like to get the best coverage.I found this lights to be perfect for any house with a good price for what they can do.

These lights work great in my garden. They were simple to put up and give a bright white light when activated. They are very sensitive to movement, even going off on windy days due to branches blowing.
They have a great power for a solar light, illuminating large areas of the garden. Really good.

These are quite impressive looking solar lights, more geared towards security than decoration. That said the yellow LEDs do give them a flowery appearance. Anyway, fitting is easy enough, you screw your bracket to the wall (preferably out of reach) and then slot the main unit in place and adjust the individual light angles and mode if required. They have the usual three modes including two with intruder detection. I prefer the “always dim” as I don’t live in a high risk area and it provides welcome ambient lighting without false alarms caused by hedgehogs or moving branches. Overall this is a very decent set that provides good coverage for general outdoor lighting or a first line of security if positioned appropriately.

I use a lot of solar lights in my garden which is very large and have had many versions over the years.

I specifically like these motion sensor lights are they cover 3 angles, front and both sides and they are bright.

There are 3 modes to choose from but to save solar, I have it on motion sensored only.

It’s nice and bright when it does come on. It is easy to install and covers a wide area and has been very effective in what I am using it for; which is to switch on when I need to go out into the garden at night for whatever reason, be it the dustbins or to check on the dogs and cats.

It works, it’s bright, it’s easy to install, the motion sensor is effective and the brightness is a good level, so yes, I highly recommend these!

    These lights are fantastic.
The motion sensor is sensitive, but not overlly sensitive for me.
It was so easy to install, you’re looking at a couple of screws in the wall and no wiring.
Over 2 weeks I havent had these not work in the evening, always there ready to be set off.
    Perfect bit of home security.

This pack comes with 2 Solar lights that require to be charged in the sun for what is recommended to be 8 hours. So i fitting them outside on a day that was going to be really sunny.
There is no cables, so no need to plan where these need to go, they can fit anywhere the sun can touch. Once you have mounted them you can just forget about them, they are that simple.
With the different modes i prefer having on the max brightness to light everything up in my garden at night. The motion detector can be very sensitive so i found it best to just try to target a region i want motion captured and use the adjustable arms to direct light at the area around to limit it being triggered by things moving in the wind

Because this twin-pack of security spotlights need no wiring they are easy and quick to fit anywhere that the sun’s rays can be captured.
Three light modules can be tilted to a range of angles that will cover a front porch, driveway or garden. Mine have been fitted over the garage doors and angled so that they aren’t triggered by pedestrians outside my boundary. But they do cover the garage doors, my car and the middle of the front garden.
The “super brightness sensor” mode means they’re off until the Infra-Red sensor detects movement in its coverage range. Then all three panels light up with a very bright glare that shows everything in high contrast, with 1200lm output.
    The two other modes are:
    – “constant light + sensor” with a medium light that brightens to super light when the sensor detects movement.
    – “constant low light” which just keeps a low light level all night.
A single button under the central light panel toggles through the modes.
The solar panels are very efficient and collect plenty of solar energy even on cloudy days.
The three light panels on each lamp are mounted on a central hinge so all can be angled up, down or sideways together. The two side panels have their own tilting and swivelling hinges that allow me to make sure that side areas are illuminated by the lights when triggered.
The design makes for an efficient security coverage of vulnerable areas with no energy costs at all, as well complete freedom of placement on any secure surface. 26.99 is the only investment needed in these two lights which is very good value. Quality looks good and the IP65 rated ABS construction should give these units an extended working life, especially as the lights are low energy long-life LEDs. I recommend these with enthusiasm.

These motion sensor light use the free energy from the sun during the day to charge the built in battery and slowly release it when dark. Save a lot of hassle and money from having to pull mains electric into the garden or driveway. Even in cloudy day it will be able to store some energy to charge the battery, since it is using motion sensing it will not use a lot of energy at night hence battery will last etc.

There are a few mods to choose from and my favorite is auto switch on at low power when sun goes down, when sensed motion it will give full blast for a minute or two then back to low power.

I have it on my drive to light up my EV charger so I can see where to plug in at night. The low power is enough to dim lit the area so we can see the cable on the floor and not tripped over etc.

Easy to install, just 2 screws to hold up the light and the solar will do the rest.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPriced at 23.98 for these wide angle solar lights are a good value for money as it comes in a pack of 2 and are very bright! This was very easy to set up and install – no un-necessary wiring or hassle. These lights work well and just needs to be charged up by the sun which is great! Saves so much time. Also has motion detector which is great and perfect for your peace of mind! Would recommend.

The solar lights came packaged in a printed cardboard box

The solar panel seems well made from black strong plastic and the LED lights look well made too. There is a PIR motion detector in the middle of the front light which is very good at sensing motion. There are two side lights and these are adjustable as well as the Solar Panel itself.

There is a on/off and mode switch on the the back of the middle light. There are 3 modes as follows:

    1. When motion is detected within its sensing range, the light turns on at 100% brightness. The light turns off 30 seconds after people leave.

    2. When motion is detected within its sensing range, the light is at 100% brightness. The light is always on at 10% brightness 30 seconds after people leave.

    3. The light will not detect any motion or turn off automatically and always stays on at 30% brightness at night

The solar panel has a detachable panel at the back. It comes with screws and raw plugs to fit it to a wall.

I have been very pleased with this solar light system and I have found no issues with it so far.

I hope you find my review useful. Thanks

We’ve just moved into a house and there is no rear garden light so we wanted to get something solar powered (so no wiring was required) and bright. For 29.99 I was only expecting one light so was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a pack of 2. Each light is fully adjustable and can be angled any way you wish (very useful to ensure it’s not shining into the neighbours windows). Installation is very simple; included are a set of screws/wall plugs, drill 3 holes for these and you’re done! There is a button on the back of the light to change brightness/motion settings. Overall I’m so pleased with this product, it lights up my garden incredibly well.. now I just need to decide where to put the other one!

UPDATE AFTER A FEW MONTHS: Still really impressed with these. They’ve continued to work flawlessly right through a cold, dark winter and I still can’t get over how bright they are — brighter than my mains powered security light. Definitely recommend.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’m impressed with this pack of security lights. Each light is really three lights — and you can adjust the angle of each and rotate the two outer ones. This makes them especially useful if you mount them on the corner of a building. The solar cell is pretty big and this is probably what allows these solar lights to be extremely bright. They’re actually brighter than the mains-powered halogen light I also have on my house. I’ll be interested to see how they perform in winter when they get less light.

There’s a setting that means they light up permanently when it gets dark, but at a low level. This might be a very useful option. They only come on when it’s really dark.

Fitting is very easy if you can drill holes and use a screwdriver — just three screws (with wall plugs included) to attach the mounting ‘block’ that the light then slides onto. So you can remove it easily.

The solar cell is fixed in place, unlike the light units, an angled at about 45 degrees, so if you want to mount it in a place that doesn’t catch the sun, you can’t do much to improve the light collection. It’s a pity the solar cell isn’t on a swivel like the light units. The lights are easy to attach to the mounting block since they need no screws for that part but I wonder if they will survive high winds. You could use some adhesive to make them more permanent.

But overall I think these are really good — the surprise is just how bright a solar light can be nowadays.

I have a cabin at the bottom of my garden but I don’t leave the power permanently connected for safety reasons. I have been looking for a couple of solar-powered security lights to illuminate the areas to the front and side when the mains power is turned off — this two-pack by SMY Lighting proved to be ideal. These lights feature three adjustable heads so you can get a wide-angle of light just where you need it — just be sure to angle the solar panel to receive the maximum amount of sunlight during the day. These lights have a built-in 2400mAh rechargeable battery, a fairly bright maximum of 1200 Lumen 6500K cool white light and are weather-proof to IP65 standard. Full fitting instructions and how to set the three different lighting modes are shown on this Amazon product page, along with useful tips about where to site them — screws, plugs and instructions are all provided with the lights. Currently around thirty pounds a pair these solar-powered motion sensing security lights are decent value for the features offered and perform as expected — hopefully they will last as long as suggested — five stars.

SMY Lighting 3 Adjustable Heads Solar Flood Lights with Motion Sensor (2PCS)

This is an easy solution to add security to your property where main plugs are inaccessible. It’s low maintenance and easy to install. It includes all bits and pieces to mount on the fence/ wall. Since it’s solar-powered, I don’t need to deal with wires and cables.

The solar panel is big enough to capture natural light. It measures 14.5cmx9cm. In my experience, this is sufficient to capture natural light in the daytime decently. It is recommended to position the solar panel strategically to maximise its efficiency. It impacts how it will charge during the day and how long it will light up at night (if you intend to put it on always-on mode).

    It has 3 light modes:
    >Sensor mode (turns on when it detects motion). Brightness is at 100% when it detects motion.
    >Dim light sensor (intense light when it detects motion, then dims).
    >Always-on mode in 30%, no motion detection

To save solar power, I just switched it to sensor mode only.

It has PIR that detects movements. It is sensitive enough to detect motion. It’s essential to keep the sensor clear to avoid delays.

Before fixing it on the wall/fence, I suggest testing it by putting your palm on the solar panel. It should light automatically, then position the lights and solar panel according to how you need them. The lights and solar panel’s angles are adjustable.

Unfortunately, it didn’t come with a remote to conveniently adjust its mode.

Overall, I still find it recommendable.

These solar lights are amazing. I have some the same brand of these lights already and they are fantastic also. These lights had three adjustable heads that can be positioned in any way that suits best and are so simple to put up. They take very little time to charge and in the night are super bright.

Sensitive to any movement they come on immediately and can be timed to stay on as long or as short a time as required. Brilliant value for money and I am going to get another set now for the back of the house. A great product from a excellent brand.

My husband set these up out in our back garden, we have one on the house wall near the back door and the other on the shed.
    The sensors work brilliantly.

Each light has 3 Adjustable Heads so you can set them in the position your happy with….. Just make sure you put the solar panel in good view if the sun throughout the day so you get a good Brightness.

These are so much better than I expected, they are impressive and pretty good value for money.

These adjustable, 3 head LED spotlights are just perfect for my intended use. I already have several LED spotlights up on my house and have put some at my mother-in-law’s, which have prevented any intruders sneaking into her property. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for her elderly neighbours. They’ve had kids climbing into the gardens at night, damage done to fences and even stones thrown at windows. I was asked if I could find some similar lighting for them, when these appeared to review.

These are really easy to install solar LED spotlights. Once fitted and the angle adjusted, you won’t need to do anything else to them again. The solar panel is nice and large to keep them charged up and the 3 different LED heads can be adjusted to make light reach into even the darkest of corners.

There are 3 light modes; on full by PIR, on low then full by PIR and permanent low light at night. These are selected via a tiny button at 5he back of the main light head.

These are fitted via 3 screws, which can be put on a wall, fence or other flat surface. Screws and Rawl plugs are included. The main bracked is simply screwed to the surface, then the light slides into it. It couldn’t be simpler.

Overall, these are impressive and will add a good level of night time security to any home or building. As they’re solar, they can even be fitted to a shed down the garden or on an allotment.

    These are certainly well recommended.

These motion-detected solar-powered flood lights (I’ll call them that as the product title is huge), are great value for money and nearly perfect.

The build quality is high, they are easy to fit (requiring three screws for each detector), they have different detection “modes” allowing for alternate levels of brightness and time, and at less than thirty pounds are good value for money. They work well and so far are holding a charge (they recommend you charge them for 8 hours before use, I would advise longer to begin with). The different modes are helpful meaning you won’t be blinded by light if you install them in a small or compact space. I like that you can change the intensity and duration of the light, it’s a feature I’ve not seen on budget models before. They look good and I imagine they will withstand a few winters at least.

As I said they are nearly perfect, just with a few minor problems. The instructions talk about an “on/off” switch…there is no switch (as such). There is a small round push-button instead on the rear. I personally would have preferred a switch rather than a button. I think it would be easier rather than having to press the same button several times to access different modes. A switch would also show at a glance what “mode” the lights are in. I also found when installing them that the screws were smaller than ideal and not the best quality. I know it’s a minor point and it will depend on the surface you are mounting them on (plus most of us have random screws lying around we can use), it just felt a bit disappointing to have a high-quality product let down by such a thing.

Despite a few minor problems, I am happy for the reasons mentioned. These do seem superior in design and functionality to both cheaper models on the market and a few more expensive ones. They are worth considering (especially if Amazon is still offering a 10% off voucher).

These solar spotlights are great for deterring intruders or providing light for the garden.

After leaving them out in the sun all day, they came on automatically at night and I was pleasantly surprised by the power of the light they gave off. There are a few modes to choose from that either stay on constantly, only come on when motion is detected, or stay on constantly but dim and then go to full brightness once motion is detected.

Installation is easy and it comes with wall plugs and screws, so they can be set up straight away.

All in all, they’re good motion detection solar lights at 29.99 for a pack of two, which was the price at time of writing.

I hope you found this review helpful.
