Live up to name
This set of 3 hand-gardening tools was purchased as a Christmas present and was exceedingly well received by the recipient. My own view of the tools is that they appear very well made and sturdy and packaged perfectly if bought as a gift ( a neat idea, Spear & Jackson ).
These are good and strong
These were a gift for my son who keeps saying I must get a trowel?Spear and Jackson are a good make and they appear to be very strong! and not at all flimsy Only my son can tell me when he uses them but I am confident that he won’t be disappointed!
My Mum says they're great!
Whilst it’s true there are more affordable products out there, i guess it’s no different between buying a labelled brand and buying a store own brand. It’s just branding. You wouldn’t catch me buying this at full rrp, there was a sale/discount on this product on amazon, ‘saved’ 40+ percent and made the purchase for mothers day. One might think what a bad son i am for buying a gardening set for mothers day for my Mum but rest assured, i got her something else as well, plus she loves working in the garden and was in need of a new set of garden tools! At the end of the day, she was very thankful (despite probably cursing me under her breath) and that’s all i needed for another year!
Great set of tools
These were delivered within a few days of ordering. The content includes 3 held hand gardening tools that have made light work of the gardening/flower borders this year (so far)

Tough unbending tool set. Used them a lot. Comfy with no blisters. Very pleased with them.
You pay for the quality - well worth i
I have had numerous cheaper sets and they all bent and broke fairly quickly.
However I used this multiple times and on very compacted soil and they have came through well, no bending or damage to report yet.
These may be the set that lasts me more than 1 gardening season.

After 20 years my old Spear and Jackson trowel had finally bent (in heavy clay soil). The new set is a perfect replacement – strong, comfortable to handle as well as good to look at. Exactly what I was looking for.
Have to use these in fairly heavy soil which has caused a number of previous tools to bend. So far after some quite hard use not a sign of bending … very impressed
Well made and sturdy
I like these garden tools. They are very well made and comfortable to hold and use. Although a gift set I actually bought them for myself and don’t regret it.
Excellent product!
These are excellent! I have had other metal trowels and they always bend,I have very heavy clay soil, but these do not . I have used them several times since I got them and they are brilliant! I would happily reccomend
