I bought one of these a while back and now I have bought them again for my customers. It is a very handy between plant weeding fork to save bending down. Great product and good quality.

This fork is really sturdy & easy to use. I bought this as I was having trouble reaching the middle of my raised bed & this is perfect for the job. Made weeding easy and not the back breaking chore it used to be.
    Would definitely recommend

I have used this little fork over and over again since purchasing it, and don’t know how I managed without it. Ideal for working in the border around your plants.

In all honesty it’s impossible to write a review so early after purchase, but initial impressions are good. Easy to use, the handle length is good and comfortable, only time will tell if it’s robust enough to stand the real rigors of use…I do hope so……looks and feels great so far!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI like nothing better than to get down on my knees to weed ,and folk over my borders, however when it’s a deep border and well planted up that’s not practical. That’s why I purchased this long handled folk ,it’s perfect for my height 5ft 2in ,well made ,strong, perfect tool ,very happy!

I was not sure about this hand fork as I was replacing a favourite, very old, four-tined fork, but this is just great, easy to use (I prefer the long handled forks overall, I just find them easier to use than the little handled ones) and even more efficient than my old one.

I have had one of these for over a year. When a friend saw me using it in my garden immediately said I could do with one of those. I went to Amazon bought another one and he is one happy gardener .

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersObviously, it’s a bit too early in the year to reviews this hoe’s performance but like someone else here I have to comment on the ridiculous size of the box this ‘long’ hoe came in.
I was looking out the hall window when the Amazon man brought this massive cardboard box to my front door.
Upon opening there was a bundle of packing paper and the hoe was lying diagonally across the back of the box. I didn’t take measurements but the box was massive, perhaps 48″ tall, 12″ deep and 30″ wide. It took ages to cut it up with a Stanley knife for disposal at the appropriate time
Of course the box and contents had been transported halfway across Europe – so much for a British product but really, this i plain stupid and a waste of materials and cargo space.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVery pleased with the price and quality. Lovely long handle means that you don’t need to bend at all to fork up the soil or even to remove larger weeds with big roots. As a bonus, the long sturdy handle doubles up as a useful walking aid while going around the garden.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNow that I have used it, I can safely say that I will be using this tool for years. Very strong and ruggedly built. No pot metal here. It saves a lot of pain from not having to bend over. Just small enough to be precise in pulling weeds without damaging good plants.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is the easiest to us and effective root loosening garden tool I have ever used. Works on taproot weeds and spreading roots of weeds and grasses. Wearing stiff soled shoes, on hard ground I will step on the top of the fork as well as pushing with the handle. Also light weight.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis is the best tool for removing stubborn roots. I have plants that have roots that look like twisted carrots underground. Almost impossible to pull out of ground. I stick this in ground and pry and with some effort they come out of ground. This has been very sturdy so far. I bought a pitch fork that the tines bent. This has not bent! So far the only tool which has not broken either at the handle or the tines!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersPurchased along with its contemporaries, the trowel and cultivator, this well made steel weed fork is light to use, but very stable and strong. Wooden handle is easy to grip, and it cleans off after use really quickly.
The hanging tag is useful for hooking up out of the way after use.
As with the trowel & cultivator, the size is exactly the right size for using on raised beds and borders. Comes with a ten year guarantee.
I’ve been using Spear & Jackson tools for years and they’ve always been well made and reliable, and I’m really pleased with the quality and the price of this item.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersSpear & Jackson’s good reputation is maintained by this quality tool. Well made, comfortable handle, good reach. The loop is useful to hang the tool visibly in the garden shed! It is not possible at this early stage to comment on its durability, but first appearances indicate that it will be a tool in our garden for many years to come. My only criticism is not with the tool but with Amazon’s packaging. I ordered this hand fork and the companion trowel at the same time – they arrived in separate large boxes with far more packaging than was necessary.
