I always use these plugs as they do the job, and are comfortable to wear.

These are satisfactory and stay in ears whilst swimming. That’s all I ask.

I bought these as I hate getting water in my ears these are good for stopping getting too much water in my ears. I wouldn’t say there are completely air tight though so I wouldn’t use these for diving
I use these more for just general swimming up and dow

I’m a daily swimmer and tried many types of Earplugs. They can be tricky but these ones are perfect. They are a bit ‘tough’ to insert at first but once they take the shape of your ears, you won’t even notice they’re there.

Happy with these earplugs for swimming. Stops water getting in my ear and causing irritation. Use them regularly and work for me. Buy them every 6 months or so after heavy use

I suffer from continual sinusitis linked to frequent swimming, and last summer had a low-level ear infection for absolutely months. Blocked ears, mild pain, ugh.

I figured it couldn’t hurt to try some ear plugs, so read all the reviews. I paid particular attention to:-
-not blocking all sound, so they need to let some audio through
-looking for a reputable brand, as quality is a big issue here. Don’t want one to snap off in my ear or something equally awful!
    -comfort / ease of use
-easy to extract – I like the long ‘arm’ on these which makes it simple to take them out with cold hands

I used my first set for six months and they’ve been great. No ear infections; and my sinusitis is massively reduced, too. It took a little while to get used to the feel of them in my ears – maybe two or three swims, but they now feel OK and don’t affect my swimming at all.
The carry case is useful, too!
So I’ve now bought a second set, as a back-up, for when I can’t find the first ones…

They do a great job at stopping water going into your ears, but they’re a little uncomfortable. I though it would by like wearing ear buds but the go a little further in.

I’ve never bought ear plugs, so I opted for a brand I knew had history within the swimming market, and I’ll be honest I’m so glad I did. These ear plugs are amazing, so far since use I haven’t had a single drop of water in my ears, gone have the nights of water sloshing around my head when I go to bed, these are quality, took a few minutes to get used to the feeling but they are very comfortable and I don’t even realise they are there in the pool. We’ll worth the investment.

These are the only ear plugs I can find that don’t fall out or need adjusting when swimming. I try to swim 1600m without stopping. The other types of earplugs I have tried all fall out or need readjusting to stop them falling out….I do not wear a cap, but this could would more than likely keep the silicone style plugs in place.

The down side….these plugs have a plastic core which makes them a little uncomfortable compared to the completely silicone alternatives. However, I get really frustrated by loss of earplugs or having to readjust them when swimming, so I will take the slight discomfort over the annoyance and loss of the silicone alternatives.

I was surprised by how effective these were, I was getting ear infections and getting water trapped in my ears days after swimming but these have been a total game changer and I can’t imagine how I went swimming before having them. I don’t think I will ever swim without earplugs again, and would recommend these. I was very sceptical about them at first – however they work almost perfectly. I say almost, because sometimes I do have to take out and replace mid swim as the vacuum has broken. That said, I have worn them swimming 6 times now, and this has only happened on two occasions. On 4 of the swims I put them in, they stay put, and I didn’t touch them until it was time to take them out, so perfect. I feel like ear shapes must change day by day, as sometimes they are an absolutely perfect fit and go in straight away, other times it takes a few tries to get them to vacuum seal into my ear. Overall, I am amazed at how great they are (for the price and for the fact I have not had any issues with water entering my ear) and for the first pair I have ever tried, I will be sticking with this product when it comes to buying a new pair. I am only giving 4 stars because sometimes I do have to adjust them, but only a minor issue and only on some occasions.
    – some other people said they wee too small, but I have not found this. I am an under 30 female and they fit me pretty perfectly which I wasn’t expecting after reading reviews.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAfter losing one of my earplugs (why do you always lose just one?) I needed a new set; It was another swimmer who recommended these. These are by far the best earplugs I’ve used in the pool. They do protrude into your ear canal which can feel a little discomforting, they also block a lot of sound out too. Once you get accustomed to how they feel they are brilliant – I wouldn’t swim with any other earplug.

No earplug is 100% waterproof and no earplug is completely without a feeling of discomfort, but, of all the types I’ve used, these leave your ears by far the driest. I only need to look at a swimming pool to get an ear infection, it seems, but these really do the job, and I generally leave the pool with my inner ear no wetter than when I wash my hair in the shower.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI’ve seen a few bad reviews for these so thought i’d chip in and rebalance the feedback. I’m on my second pair of these now after the dog ate my 1st set. Hands down, these are the best ear plugs I have ever had. Originally bought for swimming but now used as ear plugs to help me sleep. They work for swimming and perfect for blocking out noise. If they fall out or feel too small, you have not fitted them correctly or you have FA cup ears. they need to be pushed slightly upwards into the ear canal. if you twist them slightly as you do this, they will fit snugly and the only thing you’ll here is your own heartbeat. They aren’t the most comfortable to sleep in but you get used to them.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI ordered these to try and stop the earache I always get after swimming( have had ear checked by GP, nothing wrong, I also get earache in very cold weather, it’s just a wimpy ear that doesn’t like cold!) They have worked really well. Easy to fit and remove, they keep the water out completely and the earache is now a rarity. They are quite pricey but I’m happy that they are doing a good job. Down side is that I have a narrow ear canal on one side and they feel very tight, but then I guess you need that for a water tight fit. 🙂 Update: have also used them for open cold water swimming. Still very happy with them.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersMy daughter at 5 was diagnosed with glue ear , three sets of grommets resulted in her loosing the skin covering her ear drum
We tried putty’s and other ear plugs when she went swimming they all let in water
And then i came across these you gently wind them in so they are comfortable and then unwind to take them out do not pull them
She is now 18 and recently had a skin graft on the eardrum but still uses these to stop it getting wet
Highly recommend if you suffer with glue ear or ear infections after getting your ear wet .

Way too small. This is made for children.
With that said, it still managed to keep water out. So all is not lost. Of it was a bit bigger I’d give 5 stars.
Bear in mind I have small ears. So it would even be worse for the average adult ears.

UPDATE – After a month, I managed to never have water in my ears, so it actually works for its purpose

They work as hoped, but I was concerned they were a little on the small size, Suffice to say if you need to use the large earbuds supplied with in ear headphones to get a good fir, these may be too small for you.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersSlowly getting used to these earplugs…..they take a bit of getting used to…..both in putting them in effectively and swimming with them in.
The more efficient I get at putting these earplugs in the more water they keep out. The more I swim with them in the more I get used to the feeling of being slightly deaf whilst swimming and not having water swirling around my ears….it feels quite odd to start with!! They have made a difference, I haven’t had sinusitis once since I’ve been using them. I would buy them again.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usersi have bought the predecessor to these ear plugs in the past and that style was a perfect fit in the ear. so i bought this and it has an added feature of a tag to assist in removing from the ear. However the corrugated part that goes in the ear is slightly smaller than the old ones and I am not so confident that they will keep water out like the previous model…. not had a chance to try them yet though ; just wanted prospective buyers who have had them before to know they are smalle

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersI bought this item to stop water getting into my ears as a longer term replacement for disposable cylindrical foam earplugs. At first the product looked simple enough to use, putting the blue riged bit in your ear – no instructions were provided but it looked simple enough. However, I kept finding they weren’t making a proper seal in my ear and kept falling out or letting water in. No matter what sort of way I put them in the problem remained. I was disappointed enough to bulk-buy a pack of the cylindrical foam earplugs again as I thought these weren’t good enough for daily use.

****However**** I tried once more and finally found out the way you put them in your ear is with the grey arm (the bit with the Speedo symbol) pointing upwards, so you end up putting them in at a sort of upwards angle resulting in the grey arm pointing upwards.

I now find they are almost a perfect seal and am back to using them daily, so they are effective once you get the hang of them!

One final word is that the blue bit appears to go quite a way into your ear canal, which isn’t uncomfortable but does take some getting used to.

In short, instructions would have been very greatly appreciated!

I’d recommend these to anyone and were a great price – so long as you know how to use them.
