Good Outdoor light, three levels of brightness and a flashing red and blue warning mode. (Not sure but I think only the emergency services are allowed use flashing blue lights on the highway). Used for outside camping with no problems and during the day it quite happily trickled charged in the light. if you have use it for long periods you will have to charge via USB. The light is well made and solid.

item arrived, well packaged and on time. This item is remarkable on so many levels. From being able to charge it via solar panels built into the unit itself, to making sure that, if you happen to be unfortunate enough to break down, the built-in flashing red and blue lights will get you noticed. PLUS it’s also a power bank (to charge your mobile phone) AND a torch with 3 brightness levels. Just buy one!!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUnless you are unfortunate to obtain a faulty unit or broken unit, as per heading you’d be lucky to find a better spec’d light for the price.
I bought this to use as a throwaway task light, bit of a shameful admission. Having seen it produced enough lumens and for sufficient time to operate as a serviceable task light, I decided to pimp it up with added protection and store in a carry case.
Building sites take no prisoners so I expect even with the carbon fibre strips, rubber caps and bumper plates something will break at some point. I haven’t dropped tested it to find out, but if it were to break I would purchase and upgrade the very same light.
If you do want a light with similar lumens but more robust, then there are plenty to choose from. Unilite SLR 5500 is very popular and only 255 + 50 for spare battery, so rather than paying peanuts and moaning the chassis is a bit lightweight why not buy one of those! Nah I’ll just spend 13.95 and moan I don’t have a premium product thanks!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersAlthough it’s not weatherproofed in any way (seriously ‘do not’ get this wet) and it uses Micro USB instead of USB-C, I think it would be very difficult to find another work light – for the price ‘when on offer’ – that would run longer.

Confirmed is the use of 18650s (no name) but due to their weight, it’s more likely they are using 2200mah batteries with a true capacity of 8800mah. Another issue is the poor output from the USB-A as it has a max of 1a & 5v so it would take a very long time to top up or fully charge a modern smart phone.

Also the solar panel is a gimmick as you would be very lucky to get 2w out of it which would take forever to charge this light (although it is still worth leaving on the windowsill when you’re not using it)

As for the brightness it is very bright (although I would compare this to my 20w outside LED floodlights) so where they get 80w is anyone’s guess.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly surprised for once

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this to replace my previous camping light
It charged quickly & easily via the USB cable & I left it outside in the sun during the day, so it remained charged throughout my trip.
The light was lovely & bright & dimmable, which is a bonus
Unlike my previous lamp, this one’s magnets are not strong enough to hold it, so I had to place it on a table.
Next time I’m planning on adding a hook to it so I can hang it up out of the way.

Works perfectly above the bench in my shed and is close enough to the window to charge constantly and it’s so simple to understand.
I might need to use the charger in winter but I still think it is great.

Strong beam but could be turned down or directed low for more ambience, handy carrying handle, useful as powerbank to charge our speaker (tho not the fastest charger)…Used on our boating holiday without electric hook up and it was great.

Brilliant light. After the first charge I left it on all night and still battery power to keep the light on. Use in your house as a lamp it will save you electricity bills

5.0 out of 5 stars When charging outside turn the light upside down should it rain the wet keeps the charging point.

I bought this for a job where there was no electricity. It beat my expectations with a really bright light and with a stand that is easy to adjust to get the light shining just where you want it. It also has magnets so that you can attitude to metal.
    I’m really pleased with it.

Searching for a new power bank and struck gold when I came across this so bought 2 for camping with the kids at a great price, the Solar charge is amazing, charges kids phones and iPads, love that the light is so bright with the option of dim-able settings, not sure on the sos lights though, flashing orange would of been a better option instead of red and blue, nether the less, they seem well made and strong enough, Good to keep in the car when not in use

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for camping

Very good light with 3 settings. I’ve had the light on all day at work just starts to dim after 5 hours but still has plenty of power for the rest of the day. Takes about 2/3 hours to charge. Also charges itself if left in the light. Reason for 4 stars! I’ve knocked it on the floor a few times and the corners have snapped off, still works though. Maybe I’ll wrap some duct tape round it. Also has 2 magnets on the back, ideal if you work in the steel industry like myself

Like the magnets, I just clip it to the inside of my van and it’s like daylight. Haven’t had to charge it yet after a month as I leave the solar on my dashboard charging it.

Bought this as emergency light and power source for mobile phones etc. The light settings are very bright and can easily light a room. It has different light settings and flashing red/blue lights for car break downs, though to be honest, this would scare the bejesus out of your neighbours as it could be mistaken for Police lights. Should have made it flashing yellow or orange. Unable to say as yet how long the battery lasts on different light outputs

Tried to charge a mobile phone but nothing happened even though the power bank was fully charged. Same cable as I normally use to charge phone, so maybe dodgy charge outlet on the power bank. Hence, only 4 stars as will need to try it several rimes before I declare the charging ability of this a dead loss.
