So glad I got this, recycling so much easier, and I use a lot of the crushed can in the garden for drainage in the bottom of tubs and planters .

Does exactly what I wanted it for. My recycling bin was soon filling up with cans and plastic bottles. So this sturdy little crusher was just what we needed.. actually it’s quite therapeutic at the same time. lol

Does the job well we have a lot of tins and this crusher free’s up space in the recycle bin, one thing to note if the tin has a slight dent it crushes easy one arm does the job if no dent you’re gonna need 2 arms

You can fit it to the wall with screws provided or like me put it in a cupboard and takeout as needed, crushes cans properly making them easy to recycle

We drink a fair amount of canned drinks in our house and our recycling bin is always full a fair few days before collection, so I thought I’d give this a try. I didn’t screw it to a wall as our kitchen walls are tiled and i knew i’d balls it up , I superglued it to the side of the fridge freezer, if you squeeze the sides of the cans slightly just to put a dent in them before putting into the crusher it crushes cans like they’re made of butter and doesn’t put any pressure on the side of the fridge freezer.

After our council introduced a new bag for cans I was concerned that there wouldn’t be enough room for all the cans so I purchased this brilliant gadget. We fixed it to the wall using the wooden wall battons for a stronger hold on the wall & used longer screws as didn’t want it to pull off the wall during use. We have been using for a few weeks now and all good.

We used this at our camping party, screwed it to a piece of wood and the kids loved it – never seen them so eager to tidy up your can of beer so they could crush the can. It made it so much easier to recycle then as took up lots less space. Great price too.

This can crusher is great as it accommodates the larger 500ml cans & is sturdy enough to squash them.
My only note is that the can sometimes slide out when being crushed, so a lip on the crushing plates to prevent this would be useful.

Contrary to other reviews, mine has not buckled or anything similar. Also, it’s pretty obvious it was never designed for use with tins. They are far too rigid and probably won’t fit. Aluminium cans are entirely the opposite. Having said that, I quickly realised that this item works much more efficiently if you slightly squash the can in your hand – only slightly – before inserting it into this device, pulling down the handle and the can is crushed into an almost flat disc. Highly recommended. Good value.

This is a fantastic device. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It is made of good quality materials and is heavy. Arrived really fast.
My husband mounted it to the inside of shed door. We drink a lot of cans and inorder to cut down on storage before recycling I bought this can crusher. It’s very simple to use. Lift the lever, place can in, pull the handle down, can crushed. Lift lever, remove can.
If there is any resistance when pulling the lever down, press in the middle of the can and it crushes very easily. I have absolutely no strength and I find it easy to use. My husband and son both think it’s one of the best things I’ve ever bought and they are hard to impress.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt’s a good item solid and sturdy, only disappointment was it doesn’t quite fit pint sized cans which we get through a lot of.

Just half an inch longer and it would be perfect.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality

All the kids that come around love crushing there own cans my husband but it on the wall at the back door and the kids go around clearing empty cans just so they can crush them.

With my Daughter and Son-in-law and the 6 grandchildren moving in last October, the amount of recycling we have massive. They drink a huge amount of Coke, Pepsi etc in cans so have this means the space they take up is massively reduced. Plus the kids love squashing them. Works really well. Even a 6 year old can squash a can!

Cracking bit of kit. Needs to be screwed to the wall. As previously stated, put a small thumb dent halfway up before crushing. Minimal effort required and a robust construction.

Easy to install and use. Does require a bit of strength to crush the actual can itself. Would suggest fixing to a wall – can see previous reviews / queries asking this. Don’t see how you could use it without it being fixed to a wall

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWe have a lot of cans used in our household. Recycling, being my job as a Dad was a pain!
This product has saved loads of space and reduced from using a large green box for recycling to a small basket.
I managed easily to secure it to the inside of my shed, works perfectly and I can crush cans out of the rain! Plus it is very satisfying.
It has also encouraged the kids to recycle too which is a bonus.
Great project and I would recommend to anyone.

Drink cans have the tendency to slide outwards as they are being crushed. I small vertical fold ( top and bottom) would probably prevent this happening. Otherwise does the job very well.

The crusher works like a treat, the only thing i would say it needs to come with are better screws.

The quality of the crusher feel sturdy and make quick and simple work of crushing cans.
