Very light but needs some ingenuity to use i
Easy to carry. I mostly use it in hotel rooms when I sleep on the floor. It needs some careful tying up of the corners (onto furniture or chairs) to make a space big enough to sleep in inside. Nonetheless I’ve had some very good nights sleep under this ne
Survived the liberation of Raqqa, so it gets five stars. Just about big enough to cover a small mattress, but your feet will be touching the bottom, so wear socks.
I bought this ahead of a trip to Zambia. Although I only used it for five days it did the job. It was just big enough to hang above the single bed I was using and tuck under the mattress. I didn’t feel trapped inside as it felt extremely airy but didn’t let any bugs in which is the main thing. Very simple to use.
survived three week expedition to India in monsoon season …. then it was boiling hot, no rain and forest fires.
took to grubby rural schools in western ghats and never tore. does its functio
Fantastic product bought one for myself and one for my partner in preparation for a trip to Africa. The shape of the net fits perfectly onto a standard single mattress and the tapered shape also means that you only need to find one point above the bed to secure the net.
Works well, but the net itself is a little too small. I am 1.78 and I could barely keep myself covered underneath it. Used in Madagascar on a mosquito ridden beach. Package is small and durable, but my only concern is the size. Useful when you’re under 1.78cm. Easy to tuck away in a backpack and very light.
Bought this net as it was the lightest one and smallest one when stored that I could find online.
The item was great for those two features (light and compact), however it is for a single bed, and whilst travelling in India, it didn’t actually fit some of the single beds that I was staying in!! This resulted in having to took the top two edges under my pillow (not ideal as the net is then very close to your face), or have the bottom two edges of the net unattached. I did this a few times, and to no surprise, woke up with mossie bites on my leg.
Would only recommend this product if you know for sure it’s going to fit the single bed you’ll be using it for, otherwise I’d suggest looking for a slightly larger single mosquito net (my friend had one which fit perfectly over all the beds that she had when we were in India, but wasn’t as compact as mine to pack).
Not cheap but good value for money and an essential health accessory. Not bulky to pack and does it’s job.Ours went to Ghana and worked a treat.Would buy again.
