It’s a bit smaller than I expected but the words are loud and clear, the cards feel and look good. Hopefully it lasts a long time and doesn’t get nibbled to d*ath

This is a pretty good device. My son has picked up on new words just by playing this for a couple of days now. I’m really surprised with the amount of range of cards we received. Perfect for children who have speech difficulties.

I’ve now bought FOUR of these. Originally bought for my granddaughter for when we ‘play schools’. I was so impressed I bought for my great nephew whose speech wasn’t great. The difference it has made to him is unbelievable & the excitement from him when he gets the correct answer is priceless. (Better than any costly speech therapist) My carer was so impressed, she asked me to buy them for her grandsons. The repeat button is excellent for confirming the child has got the right answer & puts a massive smile in their wee face. Great for working with your child or for the child to play on their own. Perfect size for tiny hands & the ease of inserting the cards themselves make it the perfect toy to hold your child’s interest & teach them at the same time. They never get bored as there are so many cards to choose from. I definitely recommend these for every child from age 2yrs!

Although these look good, they are easily bent due to being thin. My nephew is two

Perfect, the cards are a bit thin and Bend easily at the grasp of small hands but it does teach them to be gentle and my 22 month old can still put them in the little gadget. I’m very pleased with the produc

Bought this version as it has an English accent, (although there are some words in American, and some words which maybe arent correctly translated into English.)
It’s exactly what I wanted, and works perfectly, it comes with a short USB cable for charging and loads of double sided cards.
The sound is of good volume and quality and each card is spoken/pronounced clearly, some also have sound effects.
Im sure my little boys speech will come along nicely as we continue to use this.

Been using this with our little one to start teaching her some new words and sounds

A really good set of flashcards. We have stored away some of the cards that are a bit too complex for our 2-year-old girl (like the car brands ) but otherwise a really good set of cards with a wide range of vocabularies. Some odd fruit names that are not easily seen in British supermarkets. Would have preferred to have the volume control button at the back that’s my preference (as it can easily be confused with the repeat play button).

Brought for grandchildren. They were not interested in item. Perhaps too old at four.

This item arrived quickly. Cost of 12.99 . It is contained within a pleasantly designed cardboard box. Within are:

    * 1 operating manual

    * 1 language card reader

    * 1 box containing 384 cards that represent different everyday things/people/places/animals/numbers, and so forth.

I think that this item is a very useful assistive tool, when you are teaching your child/children/classroom/community the English language.

The product sale page is slightly misleading in description. It states British English, but this is not exactly the case. There are international British territories represented. The USA-English vocabulary is also present. Which, is in contrast to the true English language, within certain context . So, it may not be relevant in some global regions curriculum. This being said, international English ( Irish spoken English, Scottish spoken English, Australian-English, Canadian-English & USA-English ) are useful variations of the true English language, and in a rapidly socially progressive world, useful to master as early on as is possible.

The item worked straight from the box. It is extremely easy to use. The operating manual is brief and easy to understand.

I think this is a great all-rounder purchase. You could buy it as a gift/donation/for community/classroom use. The cost is very reasonable. It seems well made and sturdy enough for little hands to use. It is wipe clean only! You can buy this item in pink or in blue.

My little boy in 23months and was able to get to grips with this easily- putting the cards in and pressing the buttons.
Simple little device, feels a little cheap as very light, but hopefully it will take the punishment of a toddler. I might feed back again if it doesn’t stand the test of time and toddler.
There are lots of cards, of which we have only used the 1st 6 animal cards as to not overwhelm him with names of animals and noises they make.
I can’t comment on the other cards, their pronunciation etc. But the cards we have used he likes and he is already starting to copy noises.
    So far I am happy.

I thought this was such a handy little toy to have for my little 3 year old. He loves playing with it. The cards are really easy for him to pop in and out and he loves copying what it says on the cards. Really easy and simple to use for him. I would recommend this toy for all kids

I ordered the Talking Flash Cards Sensory Toys for 1 2 3 4 5 Year Old Baby Boys Girls,192 Flash Cards for Toddlers British English with 384 Words, Learning Eductional Kids Toys Gifts on Birthday Christmas – Blue.

This is great for toddlers to learn new words. The card is inserted into the reader and it’s pronounced the word. This is really handy and my daughter loves playing with it.

At the time of reviewing this product was pricier at 15.99.

    I recommend this product.

This little talking flash cards toy is great for journeys. The card reader is small and light, and is rechargable with a USB cable. It comes with a lot of cards. The cards are colour coded with a different colour for each subject. The audio quality is good and the cards work well. My only problem with this is that it is for little kids, but the cards are quite thin and not very durable, they bend easily. Overall this is a great toy for learning while playing, but the cards arent as durable as I would like.

What an absolutely fantastic product, I really love this simple but very effective learning tool.

In the box you get the main computer unit, a charging cable, instructions and a box of double sided cards.
There are literally hundreds of different pictures to chose from, which give a really broad range of learning subjects that include, animals, the alphabet, countries, food items and people/relations.

The device is really simple to use, you switch it on at the bottom and it fires up a little welcome message. Enter a card of your choice and it reads out the card image. There is a volume button, of which it is plenty loud and clear enough to hear the words being read out. In addition, there is a repeat button to read the card again.

I love that it is an interactive learning device that doesn’t rely on wifi, computers/phones/tablets and because you have to place a card into the reader, your child is more likely to pay greater attention to the image and the word being read out.

This is great for children to use when at home, in the car and out on journeys, to keep them entertained, whilst learning new words in the process. A fab way to help increase your child’s vocabulary.

A really good feature with this product is that there is an internal rechargeable battery, so no having to find a screwdriver every five minutes to swap over new ones, simply plug in, recharge and you’re good to go again… it is also cost effective too with no need to spend money on replacement batteries.

I think for the price of 15.99, this is very good value for what you get. I would’ve loved something like this as a child and is a little more of a traditional and interactive route of learning, compared to today’s tech heavy gadgets. It’s also a really good way to spend some quality time with your child to go through the cards with them and to see how well they are progressing.

I have absolutely no negatives to say about this only positive. I am so glad that I got it and hopefully it will provide a long time of entertainment and learning. 100% recommended.

This is one of several similar products currently available, it’s a rechargeable battery operated toy for the little ones, with a wide variety of “Flash Cards” to encourage early learning through interaction with a mobile device. The manufacturing quality is good, and there’s a vast amount of words available for the cards, which also include illustrations and text to accompany the vocal sounds. However, do bear in mind that despite the product description stating “British English”, some cards incorporate the American spelling/pronunciation of certain words, which obviously may cause confusion.
