Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAs with all my Tapo kit, this too came with food instructions and fitting template so no problems there.
My concern is that the penultimate point of fitting instructions is to slide waterproof gasket onto the USB connect on cable. No such gasket was provided. I presume I am not supposed to make a hole in the gasket on the battery side and reuse that.
So I have concerns over the longevity of this. I hope Tapi will get in touch with a solution.

    Update 15-Feb
I found the gaskets! They were in the little plastic bag containing screws and plugs. As I was using my own stainless steel screws, this bag was put aside.
    Apologies Tapo (-:
The solar panel works. We’ve had two very overcast days since it was installed, but even then it manages to get a little charging done.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to install and does the job

This solar panel doesn’t have NIGHT VISION. Who created this feedback form? A toddler? This solar panel might work in California, where it is brilliant sunshine 360 days a year, but it’s not much good in England, where it is cloudy and/or raining 360 days a year. I still have to charge a spare battery in the house and go up and down the stepladder every day to swap out the battery, so I could have saved myself the money and hassle if I hadn’t bought the thing.

Purchased two for my Tapo cameras. Good size panel that easily adds more than 20-30% battery per day in UK summer when placed in direct sunlight. A bit challenging to get the plug into the back of the camera, but that’s more of a camera issue than the solar panel.
