This was purchased for my son. Who has confirmed it has made his life so much easier! Great signal range, with a great transfer speed! He is very happy with it!
Super simple to setup on old mini tower with no CD, plug and play.
Brought this so that I can connect my phone to my gaming PC, so that I can make and answer telephone calls whilst using my PC.
Works a charm, plug it into an empty USB port, install the software that comes with it, and it connected straight away with the Windows phone app.
Bought with use in a gaming PC environment and worked as intended. Works with the Post-Bluetooth patches on Stadia Controllers, though they’ll need software outside of Steam to properly map.
I put the disc in and nothing happened. I put the dongle in and nothing happened. I went to settings and the dongle was already recognised so bluetooth just needed to be turned on. Range is not important to me because I usually sit with my laptop on my lap, so I can’t comment on that.
It’s a cheap BT dongle. Works as well as any other I’ve had. Certainly good enough for my elite series 2 controlle
Bought this to use my Stadia controller on PC and it works well.
Comes with cd for installing drivers so make sure you have a disc drive if buying. Not a lot or laptops come with this now. Once up and running, does as it says.
So I bought this as I use bluetooth hearing aids and wanted to watch films on my PC – my laptop has built-in bluetooth. Since I’m cut off from the Internet (thanks to an idiotic clerical error by BT) I did worry that I might not be able to download necessary drivers. To my relief, a driver disk was included. After installing the drivers from the disk and restarting, the sound kept cutting in and out. I restarted the PC again and now everything is fine. Little more to say really, it does what the description says, that’s all I ask.
Ugreen supply a setup disk but there was no DVD drive in laptop. The Ugreen web provided a rar file but the laptop wouldn’t open it. There was an option for a zip file but this wouldn’t complete due to ‘unauthorised Bluetooth devices’ even after disabling those we still couldn’t add a new Bluetooth device. We rebooted the laptop & tried the windows 10 again and bizarrely after trying to add a device again it ‘saw’ the JBL.
It was worth the wait! The laptop speakers are awful but sounds/music/gaming all sound absolutely fantastic via this little Ugreen dongle & paired to a JBL flip5. Absolutely Brilliant!
Ps – use it with USB 2.0 it doesn’t seem to like USB 3.0.
Please note this will only work with the newer xbox 1 controllers and series s and x controllers. It won’t work with the original xbox 1 controllers as they use a different connection method.
The item does what it says in giving Bluetooth capability to your pc. Easy to plug in to your pc. Recognised by windows 10 without a problem. There is a small black cover which protects the usb connection that you have to do something with. It will probably get lost.
The small manual is fiddly to read, look at the page numbers to follow it. The link to the website could not find the device and I could only find older drivers. I installed from the mini cd.
Easy to connect up some earbuds but I had to forget them from my phone that they were originally paired to. That’s not a fault of the device but of Bluetooth. Overall comparing with other Bluetooth set ups the device works well.
