Great product for babies!!
This is such a good product – way better than using a sun parasol I found! We loved this over the bassinet & the car seat for when out and about in the sun! Kept baby cool and out of direct sunlight. We really loved the zip so you can check on him too! Will be buying the next stage up one!!
Great for sleeping babies
Bought this product to help when out with my baby sleeping. Fits well over the pram, but has a zip pocket on the top & you can leave gaps at the sides for air to move. Helps my little one sleep a lot better when not at home.
Game change
Got this after having no luck with parasols (they either wouldn’t attach properly or wouldn’t position right)
Absolutely amazing sunshade, and we can use it on multiple travel systems (carrycot, car seat and normal pram)
Love the zip window to check on baby. Not sure how breathable it is so I would recommend not making sure baby has some sort of air flow (as seen in pics)
All in all does a much better job than an umbrella at making sure baby is covered from the su
Great for pram naps
I used this on my iCandy Peach with bassinet, and my Ergobaby Metro+ deluxe travel stroller. It works perfectly on both and baby girl will often fall asleep when out for a walk!
Brilliant!
So happy with this, works one mamas and papas pram and I’ve managed to get it to work with the car seat attached to pram too
Good quality for the price and definitely protects from the sun! So no worrying about trying to keep the shade off if baby
Excellent coverage
I have used this with our Bugaboo Chameleon 3 and Babyzen Yo-yo Newborn, works with both. It doesn’t fit perfectly (some loose material at the sides), but that is the nature of a universal product. Provides complete shade while baby is napping. Zip opening is perfect for checking on baby. Handy pouch for storing in our changing bag, it goes everywhere with us.
Amazing product!
My baby hates the sun in her eyes and our parasol was a pain, having to readjust every time we turned a corner when the sun would be in a different place and so our walks would take forever. I saw this advertised and decided to give it a go. Initially I really struggled to attach it to my pram, the Mamas and Papas Occarro. I messaged the company on Facebook and they helped me attach it properly (attached photos) and now it’s great. My baby slept the entire walk, stayed cool and I could open the zip to check she was okay. Highly recommend for the summe
Great produc
This does exactly what I needed to do,
Keep the sun out of my baby’s face so not battling with a parasol but also makes it nice and dark for when he needs a nap. Only concern is it can get a little warm on a super hot day, but nothing too concerning. The Velcro straps are super handy to keep it in place. Probably my most used baby item so great value for money.

I bought this one for my daughter 12 years ago…she slept for hours and still is a good sleeper! And from then on- whoever had a baby got this for me as a present. One girl used it during the COVID when they were traveling. The best thing I ever bought! Highly recommended.
A mummy must-have!!
10/10 couldn’t recommend enough!! Quick & easy to fit, great zip panel to check on bub! Our little boy has slept so well on his naps despite 20 sunny weather as this product kept his pram dark & cool (he wasn’t coping longer than 20 minutes before). Gave us peace of mind enjoying a 6km walk knowing he was safe from the sun & comfortable in the cool! From an outdoorsy family – Thank you!!
We’ve even bought a 2nd to gift for his baby cousin arriving in 4 weeks!
Bought this hoping to keep the sun out our newborns eyes but it has served us in more ways than this.
It is great at keeping the sun out and really helps keep her calm when out and about. She is able to nap without being disturbed by light and guilty as charged has saved us having to tell people to politely go away, as she’s nicely concealed from people who can be a bit too friendly.
The 6 velcro straps have made it so universally friendly and we have had no issues with securing it to either her car seat or Bassinet depending on what we use on her pram base (it’s a travel system style pram).
Would absolutely recommend to anyone, especially a nervous parent who wants to protect baby from the sun, help them sleep whilst still being able to live life or just avoid having people you don’t know all up in your space or your child’s space.
A Must buy
Bought due to my son suffering with “sun eruptions” on his face even when in the shade in hot weather. Since using it his face hasn’t gone red so this product has helped massively.
Keeps the sun off and helps with nap times
This is a lovely product, which is finished off lovely and the quality is good.
When first using the product it is a little confusing as there is no actual instructions which comes with the product. There is however a QR code which takes you to a website which does have different videos to help with how to attach/use the product. This is good in reducing the paper being sent – however when the QR code is ripped like mine was it’s hard to access the videos.
Once I found the website via google I was able to see the videos and use the shade to its full potential and you only really need to watch the video once – it is pretty straight forward.
The shade provided protection for my little one but also a cool place for them to sleep.
Great sun cove
Such a clever idea. Love the zip so I can check how baby is doing. Better than the parasol sun shades. Only thing I don’t like is the cover goes over the handle bar so it makes it difficult to hold it. Would be good if there was some sort of gap for your hands.
A+ Protectio
Brought for when we went to the seaside towns, perfect for blocking out sun and the breeze keeping our baby warm and protected. We also used for nap times as well to keep it nice and dark for them. Perfect all around!
In terms of storage, you are given a bag but like most people, gets crumpled up and chucked either underneath our buggy or just in storage.
5.0 out of 5 stars Does what it says
I’d been looking for something easy to use to keep the sun off by baby and this is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to use and does what it says
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent shade
A life saver when you have a newborn in the summer! It keeps them out the sun, and cool on summer days. It’s completely breathable and so versatile for different seats/carrycot. Highly recommend
Excellent Quality Sunshade
The product arrived promptly and is a good quality sunshade for protecting our little one from the sun whilst out on a walk and for providing less distractions for naps in the pram. We have a Mamas and Papas Ocarro pram and we used this when on holiday abroad. We attached the velco straps to the pram handle to either the cup holder knob or adjustable handle levers. I also use the velcro straps on the sides to provide side protection from the sun. We attached the back of the sunshade by stretching it over the hood of the pram. She could still get a good view on our walks. It works well when the pram is in different positions. It provided good shade for most of her legs but her toes sometimes were still exposed to the sun as the sunshade dips in the middle near the pram handles. I would have liked a velcro strap in the middle so that I could stretch the sunshade to the middle of the pram handle as well which would have provided more fuller protection. To ensure it covers the pram for naps we pulled two velcro straps and fastened under foot rest. In this position, the zip can therefore be used to check on her for naps. But to be honest, we don’t often use that position as I can’t see her as easily and would worry about the lack of air flow and her overheating.
5.0 out of 5 stars An absolute essential
My baby was born in May, just at the start of a heat wave. Without this product I wouldn’t have been able to take her out in the pram at all. It’s an absolute essential from a sun protection and shade perspective. It also blocks glare to protect her eyes. When down in the lower position it acts as a blackout shade so I use it for her daytime nap in the pram. Also it helps keep flies etc off her. Finally I use it as a cover when she’s not in the pram to stop the cats jumping into her pram (and putting cat hair in there!) . My only modification suggestion is that the peep zipper would be better if itnwas 2 way so that you could chose (depending on where the sun was shinning) where you want the opening to be. Finally I’ll say that from now on it will be my go-to new baby present for friends. It really is an indispensable tool that deserves the accolades.
Great sun/sleep shade
Love this product. It is exactly as described and I have used it every day on our walks. It is great for both sunny or windy days and also perfect for when they are asleep. There is a zip so that you can keep an eye on your baby. It is very easy to use and comes with a little bag to store it in. Would definitely recommend it.
Godsend, easy and universal, and multiuse
Love it, using on ickle bubba pram at the moment and its super easy to use, folds small into bag so can stay on bottom of the buggy without taking up lots of space, so helpful to block the sun and even just to make it dark for little one napping etc too
Versatile pram shade
It’s a bit confusing at first, as lots of straps to attach to prams and pushchairs. Keeps the sun off the baby really well. Plus you have a zip at the top so you can check they are okay. Added bonus, it’s shade makes the pram dark so baby can sleep peacefully.
Great for the summe
I was toying with buying a parasol for my pushchair but heard they were a bit of a faf and came across the snooze shade. So easy to attach to the pushchair to keep the sun of baby. Material is like a mesh material so baby won’t get too hot and love the fact it has a zip so I can easily check in. Would highly recommend.
I’m a mum and have just had my fifth baby – wish this product was around when I had all of my babies! The parasol which came with my (fairly expensive) pram is awful! Did nothing to keep my baby shaded. Had to walk with one hand pushing the pram and the other constantly holding and adjusting to keep the sun off of my baby. After some Googling to see what else was available I saw the SnoozeShade. Absolutely delighted with my purchase. Going for walks or sitting with pram in the garden is worry free now! Would 100% recommend!
A must buy!
An essential purchase for anyone whose little one naps on the go. Also great for summer to help keep the sun off little ones. It fits perfectly on the carrycot and it just about fits now we have changed to the pushchair seat (we have a Joie Finiti), I’m not sure how easily it would fit on a bigger buggy such as a Bugaboo. I think you would need to get the larger deluxe shade.
A must have!
You NEED this product if you have a stroller!
I was originally looking for the umbrella type of shade but came across this with all comments saying this is better – it is true, so much better!
I was anxious about a planned zoo visit with a toddler and newborn during the heatwave(28C) but this was a brilliant help! Not only did it keep shade on my 2month old but it actually felt cooler inside the stroller under the protection layer. The zipper peak is useful to check on baby without having to undo the whole thing. The cover helped baby sleep as well. It’s easy to put on and off as well. Feels like a good quality of material and definitely does the job it’s supposed to do. I wasn’t bothered by the bright green strip, happy with the value for money. I wish I had this with my first rather than dealing with the hasstle of muslins up and down, that aren’t safe anyway Nd overheat the inside of stroller. I recommend this product to anyone with baby/toddler on a hot day!
Help your reluctant napper - get a Snooze Shade!
I’ve got a baby who is extremely against the concept of napping (to the point she gets angry when she works out you’re trying to get her to nap). She can be falling asleep, even spend a couple of minutes with her eyes shut, and then jerk herself awake to look at something. She’s obsessed with light and looking at *everything* … all of which add up to overstimulation, overtiredness, and a miserable cycle of trying to get her to relax and get enough sleep.
This cover has worked wonderfully – when she’s closing her eyes in the pushchair, I quickly lift it up over the canopy, and by the miracle of the Snooze Shade, her closed eyes actually turn into a nap! It’s amazing (well, it is if you know how hard it is to persuade this particular baby to nap). It also seems to keep the air cooler inside the cover than outside.
The only problem for me is that now I have to keep walking and walking and walking while she naps, but that’s not a reflection on this great little product, just on an awkward baby! Don’t think twice, if you’ve got a reluctant napper, just get one of these.
(Using with Uppababy Cruz and it’s a good fit.)
WOW
My daughter hasn’t slept in her pram for months and she always screams when it comes to nap time when we are out and about so I have started getting very anxious to take her out in the pram when I know we will be out when she is due to take a nap but WOW I have used the snooze shade 2days in a row and after a couple of minute of been upset she has gone straight to sleep which is amazing! The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because yesterday I put my hand in to test the temperature as it was a hot day and I do feel like the snooze shade did trap the hot air in and make her quite warm I don’t know if it was because it was extremely warm yesterday so I will see what it’s like in the next couple of weeks. But an amazing product!
I bought this sunshade as the carrycot I have (Cybex Balios S Denim Collection) doesn’t fully cover and protect my baby from the sun.
Unfortunately, I lost the first SnoozeShade I bought (the one with the grey trim), so I had to repurchase it again. The second time I bought the one with the green trim as it was on discount for 13.50. But to be quite honest, I think it’s a bit annoying that the “nice” looking grey one is more expensive and hence why I am not giving this sunshade 5 stars. I am really not a fan of the lime green (kind of makes your pram look ugly) but I couldn’t justify paying that much again for the one with the grey trim. Also a tip: when you put your SnoozeShade in the storage bag it comes with, do NOT hang it on your pram as this is how I lost my first one. The velcro (a bit unnecessary in my opinion) on the strap of the bag must’ve just come undone and it fell off my pram hooks without me noticing.
Now as to the actual sunshade, here are my pros and cons:
PROS
— I think it works great and is really useful –no fiddling around with parasols or muslin blankets when you change your direction of walking
— It is quite versatile and easy to put on the pram with the six velcro straps and the elastic and I think it really would fit all prams
— Does what it says and protects baby from the sun and I never felt like my baby was overheating
— The zip opening is helpful to check on baby
— I think it’s excellent to use as a blackout shade too and it’s definitely helped my baby fall asleep in brightly lit places like the shopping centre
CONS
— The lime green trim is pretty ugly (the grey, however, looks nice)
— It’s made in China (I somehow expected this to be made in Britain as the founder is British as well)
— I do think that once my baby is a bit older and more curious about her surroundings she might actually not like having the black in front of her all the time, so I might not use it as much anymore (I did consider getting the Plus model instead but think it’s quite pricey for what it is and it doesn’t look like baby could see through the mesh that much better anyway)
All in all, I would recommend this sunshade –especially for very young babies. Time will tell if I still use it a lot when my baby is older but for her first British summer, it’s been very good to have.
Worth every penny
I bought this item to take with us on holidays to Florida. I went back and fourth for ages trying to decide whether I should purchase it or not and I’m so glad I did, it became a holiday must have for us and we never left the hotel without it. I had bought it with the intention of using it for nap times in the pram whilst out and about with our almost 2 year old as he’s always been used with sleeping in the dark but it became so much more for us. Not only did it allow my son to nap soundly in darkness, it kept the sun and uv rays off him and kept him from overheating. He also has very sensitive eyes to sunlight and being too young to understand the use of sunglasses this came in handy as an extra visor on the hood of his buggy to help keep the sun out of his eyes. In fact more often than not he asked for it to be pulled down so he could hide himself completely out of the sun! The little holes in the fabric make it completely breathable and the zip is perfect for taking sneak peeks to check they’re ok. It’s really light weight making it perfect for travel and the velcro straps make it so easy to put on and take off as required. Would highly recommend, was worth every penny for us.
I ordered my Snoozeshade after having trouble finding something easy to use on my baby’s pram to protect him from harsh sun. I found parasols very unpractical and hard to attach to the pram. I use it on my Uberchild buggy and have not been disappointed! I love the way you can use the multiple velcro straps to attach it to any part of the pram, meaning I’ve used it on friends prams and my Obaby Atlas lightweight stroller too. I also think it’s fantastic in that it protects little one from UVA and UVB without the pram overheating; a dangerous aspect of using a muslin or blanket. Although originally purchasing it to use for sun protection, after much use I have discovered it is fab at helping baby fall asleep by preventing distractions when out and about. Great when you have a very nosey baby!
The Snoozeshade can be fixed to the pram vertically, diagonally – whichever way you like.
I have recommended it as a fab sleeping and sun protection aid to many parents when at play centres, the beach, out shopping, etc.
I was initially concerned my baby would be put off if he woke from a nap under the shade, not able to see me. But he seems to love the privacy and peace it brings, so this hasn’t proven an issue for us. However, the small zip opening is great if you’re concerned about that. It also means you can check on baby without too much disruption.
All in all, the best invention for parents since sliced bread!
This product is a must and I mean a MUST for any new parent.
Me and my wife had our son this year (2017) and we like to get out and about as much as we can with our little one.
This comes in a handy mesh carry bag which has adjustable string which we have tied to the handle of our pram which means is easily available at any moment, as you can never determine when you are out and the little one wants to sleep.
This provides the same form of “black out” as black out curtains which is really helpful with getting your little one used to knowing that the dark is time for sleep (which I feel helps when it comes to night time).
It has tiny holes which do not let the light in but make it very breathable, it has a peep hole zip at the front to allow easy access to check to make sure everything is alright and will easily fit any buggy with the Velcro tabs and elastic banding.
On top of all that is it UV protected which means there is no need to be balancing blankets or positioning yourself to keep the Sun off the sensitive skin of the little one.
In my personal opinion I don’t know how people did hot sunny days with out one of these and we have been so impressed we brought an extra one for a back up if we need to wash or lose the other one.
PROS:-
– Light weight and small
– Comes in a convenient carry case which can be tied to the handles or stored easily in a nappy bag.
– Easy to use and quick to put on
– Wont leave home without it.
CONS:-
– None come to mind, I just can not rate this any higher and recommend highly.
Sleep for baby, dream come true for parents.
While looking for an insect net here for our upcoming holiday, this item was included in my search results.
I didn’t know such a thing existed before having seen this and having read reviews decided to pick it up.
We have a Quinny Buzz and tried it out on the dreami-cot on a sunny afternoon a couple of weeks ago. It worked a treat. Once fitted our newborn went straight to sleep and remained asleep for a couple of hours, so she seemed quite content.
I held off on doing the review as I wanted to wait and see about using it on the push-chair when it was fitted to the frame of the Quinny.
It’s not a perfect fit, I wouldn’t expect it to be, but it took some amount of fiddling about to ensure a good dark environment. Having fitted it, there was still quite a bit of light leaking in the sides and no adjustment of the Velcro straps seemed to help. Eventually I thought to push the canopy back so that it was only about half extended and this served to tighten up the sides of the shade in line with the frame of the pushchair. Job done!
It works extremely well and in the bright sunlight we’ve been enjoying here, it’s been a huge help in getting our 11 week old off to a good sleep.
