USB C to HDMI Cable for School Home Office 15ft/4.5m, uni

had this cable for a a while and have been using it with my Macbook works great and is useful when I need a larger screen to work on, the picture quality won’t wow you but works as expected

I have two of these now. Had the first one for a few years, and it still works fine every time. Quality product.

As others have said its a well made braided cable, great length at 4.5m. I can confirm this cable does work with Samsung Dex (S22/S23) and with Samsung Chromebooks, unfortunately this model doesn’t yet work with the Valve Steam Deck but great communication with the seller to address the situation for the future.

I travel a lot with work and inevitably end up in hotels with either bad TV service or unwatchable programs. I wanted to watch my movie subscription services, such as Amazon Movies from my iPad Pro to a TV monitor.

The only way to connect my iPad was with a USB-C (iPad) to a TV’s HDMI output. After some research, I came across the UNI USB C to HDMI Cable (4K@60Hz) USB Type-C to HDMI and ordered via my Amazon account, and the cable arrived the next day. It comes in a small unassuming box with the manufacturer’s UNI logo. The box is brand-sealed – a good thing so that you know it is nobody else’s return.

The process of connecting the iPad Pro to the TV is easy; I plugged in the USB-C cable to the USB-C input on the iPad, then connected the other end of the cable (HDMI) to the HDMI input on the Television. Once connected, I navigated to the menu which gave the option to choose the channel where the HDMI is located. This may happen automatically on some TVs.

I am pleased to say it works perfectly; I can now watch subscription services that are on my iPad, and watch 4K videos that are accessible via Plex and my QNAP server (the cable is capable of transferring 4K video at 60Hz). I am also able to work from my iPad and use a TV interface as a secondary monitor.

All-in-all, I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants to tether their iPad to a TV monitor screen.

Had a new work laptop that is super sleek and lighter, but progress can sometimes give other headaches like getting to a location to share some information and finding that you don’t have an HDMI connector. This cable was the answer and I am very impressed with the cable and connectors which allows me to achieve past performance with current technology. I really like the item and it now resides in my bag so that I am not without it. The HDMI2 standard was a deciding factor for me.

Does what it says in the description. I use it on my Macbook pro to extend the monitor for work purposes and so far no issues. It is too early to say how long it will last but i am happy with my purchase.

Bought this because my Tablet is able to act as an oversize mousepad and display its screen on an HDMI enabled monitor or TV. I thought this would be a handy trick, the cable does work as intended but I think I have used in on 1 occasion in anger (as opposed to testing). Have to say that connecting a tablet up to a TV is really pointless, I would rather just cast anything interesting and remain free to roam. Also because of the way I’m setup at home using the tablet while in a ZOOM call means looking up and away from the camera to see the big screen picture which is very disconcerting as to those in the conference you don’t seem to be looking at them as you speak. As I said cable works great just wondering why I bothered with it in the first place.

I recently purchased this cable due to my new role as a teacher; they have an interactive board that requires a connection of HDMI. Of course, with the Macbook Pro 2016 – Present no HDMI ports. Just USB-C/Thunderbolt. So I definitely needed this cable for my work portability. I have had some HDMI adapters of sorts in the past. However, none of them matches the quality and the ease of use of this cable. It literally just works. To set the context, I don’t exactly have small requirements when it comes to testing the capabilities of a cable. At my desk, I have 2 4K 60Hz LG Monitors, after using the interactive board in the class, plugged the cable into one of the monitors and there it is 4K 60Hz, no problem at all.

This cable is definitely one of the best offerings out there, the price is extremely good considering the quality that you get, amazingly braided and quality feeling terminals with fully metal jackets. The convenience of it being all one cable and not terminating into a Female HDMI port, ready to pair it with any HDMI cable you obtain, which can cause compatibility issues or look way too bulky. UniAccessories HDMI to USB-C is such an elegant solution to a problem that shouldn’t be of any technological thought. It does exactly what it says on the tin, whatever you do.

More insight will come when I use this cable to its absolute tether, over a long period of time. In short, it is an excellent quality cable that just works, whatever demand and UniAccessories offer a lifetime warranty, so why wouldn’t you get this.
