Button at the back that makes the bit where iPhone goes opens stops working.
Had this on my car windscreen, suction very strong but button on the bit that makes it open stops working. I was driving last night and it kept falling apart which was a bit dangerous as I was driving and needed the sat nav for directions. So I pulled in the corner tried to put it back up but it breaks and couldn’t put back together. Strange because I don’t drive my car much so it still looks fairly new but mechanical side of it not so good . Suction is strong that the only positive side. Disappointed with my purchase 🙁 hence 1 star for suction but rest no happy with 🙁 Update : I contacted Customer Service today via their website abs Maggie from VANMASS customer service resolved the problem quickly! Great communication, excellent costumer service and whole heartedly understanding! They’re now sending me a replacement. Hopefully that was just an unlucky one. The suction part of it is the beast I have ever had as it actually stays on the wind screen just the button that slide to get the phone in & out was faulty stops working and break. The phone mount was well packaged like a luxury brand, the mount itself is no less a luxury brand, looks and feels high quality, a little bit of assembly required but fits onto car vent snuggly and holds the phone in place, well worth the money
Well worth the extra money
I’ve had many versions of phone car mounts and they’ve all failed for various reasons. This one is so well made. It’s strong (my iPhone 13 max is in a heavy case) and gives a number of options for fitting. The grip is also well wide enough for my phone. Yes, it’s a tad more expensive than most but as is the norm – you get what you pay for.
Excellent Customer Service
A very useful product with a great customer service team behind it. I bought this item a number of months (if not possibly years) ago and recently had it break. I was disappointed as the part that broke was small but integral to the use of the product.
I reached out the VanMas to as about replacement parts and they offered to provide a complete replacement at no additional charge.
The product works really well, secures directly to almost any surface and is ergonomically designed with a quick release system that fits most phones I would expect to have in the future.
The phone holder works both in portrait and landscape mode and can be adjusted with little fuss. There is access for charging cables while in use in line with the central support.

Very sturdy mounting
Easy to install. Once installed on the dashboard, it has remained perfectly fitted even with the hot weather beating through the windscreen etc, it has remained fixed. No wobblying when going over bumps. The phone sits perfectly in the cradle. Easy to take the phone in and out of the cradle without touching the fitting. Only negative is where I have it fitted there is a slight blind spot but that is probably due to my choice of position.
Ordered one for myself two years ago and have used it almost daily since then. Very good product, it’s easy to assemble, holds my phone securely, it’s also very adjustable so you can angle your phone to which ever suits your preference and I also like that you have the option to secure it to either your dashboard, windscreen or air vents. After two years the product still works as well as it did on the first day.
My dad has recently required the use of a phone holder so without question I ordered another one for my dad. It arrived promptly however upon setting it up realised that the back button that releases and tightens the side clips that hold the phone into place didn’t work. Meaning the clips were always closed and wouldn’t allow you to place a phone within it. I contacted VANMASS support team and they immediately offered to send me a replacement which should be arriving soon. Very satisfied with their customer service team and their response. Highly recommended product and team.
Easy to install and grips the mobile extremely well.
I have fitted my holder to an air vent in my car with the attachment provided. It was an extremely easy process and the holder is secure and grips well.
Solid as a rock
Had this in the car for 2+ years now and its been a godsend. The flexibility of the arm allows for all users of the car to get it in the right place for them (including having the vent holder to cool a rather temperamental phone on long journeys) and the pad has stayed in place though hot summers and cold winters.
I did have a small issue but the customer service team where on it and rectified it in short shift.

Recently ordered 2 more of these, one for my car one for the wifes car.
I’ve had one previously and knew how good they were so once again opted for Vanmass when we needed new ones.
Quality is good, as is delivery, and customer service.
One of the suction pads weren’t great on the latest order but after contacting Vanmass they sent out a replacement immediately at no extra cost.
You can’t complain with that.
I’ll only ever order Vanmass in the future.
Good but a little disappointing for the cos
This is a good phone holder and comes fairly well packaged. The only disappointing thing is the suction cup. Despite following the instructions carefully, cleaning the area where it is to be placed etc, the suction cup will not stay stuck and comes loose after a relatively short period of time.
It’s still sticking to the dash!
This is a serious bit of kit. Robust, well made, fully adjustable and does what it says on the box.

Perfect product perfect service
I bought one of these products two years ago, and I have been using it happily for two years, recommending it to everyone around me. After two years, a small part of the product broke. I contacted VANMASS and asked them to send me the broken part. Three days later, they sent a completely new product. I was surprised and happy to receive a completely new product when I was only expecting the broken part. I believe I will use this new product smoothly for at least 2-3 years as well. It broke…but they fixed it!!
This product has done exactly what it was supposed to do for the past year. Cannot fault its usefulness. But after almost a year the locking mechanism snapped rendering it unusable.
However a quick visit to the Vanmass customer service website and one filled in form later, I received an email reply within 10 hours with apologies and the offer of a replacement – free of charge.
When you combine a great product with exceptional customer service the result is something to be celebrated. Well done Vanmass – you have a VERY satisfied customer here!

I bought this 2 years ago. I was fed up with cheap phone holders that dont stay put or break or whatever. So yes these are a little bit more expensive BUT its stayed in place on the winscreen for 2 years. Ive not touched it. Its justed woked with no issue. In fact liked it so much got one for the missus car. That one wouldnt work on the windscreen so its attached to a vent but again been working rock solid for 2 years no issue.
So the product is good.
What i wasnt expecting was that after 2 years and i managed to break the thing (bit heavy handed) i contacted vanmass direct and they were more than happy to replace it. 100% free. Holds phone securely
A really secure phone holder which is very easy to install. I like the option of either using the air vent or dashboard/windscreen fixing. Unlike others I have used this holds in the air bent very tightly. I would recommend this holder and it is as secure as a permanent fixed holde

I have been looking for a safe and convenient car phone holder and researched several brands on Amazon. I first noticed VANMASS, who started making holders in 2015. I found that their phone mounts are really safe, of high quality, and come with a three-year warranty to help you out at any time.
Upgrade: This bracket has the most reviews in the store, and I think it is representative. Then I read the introduction on the page. They have been upgrading and optimizing, using green and pollution-free materials, optimizing and improving the suction of the suction cup, optimizing the one-button release on the back to reduce jamming, improving the nut and nut materials, etc. It can be considered from the customer’s perspective.
Safe: After I got this gift, it was gorgeous. As per the instructions, I installed it on the car. I found an ideal position in the glass window and installed it for use. We have these phone holders in both vehicles after a mishap with one I immediately reordered through Amazon, after the confirmation email Vanmass contacted me direct saying it was on its way and it had a warranty ,I asked if my original was covered they agreed that it was ,so I got a replacement the same day and a credit from Vanmass via Amazon. how good is that!
Very good warranty service
I had a small problem with my Vanmass car mount after 6 months I contacted them directly. They asked me to send them a short video showing the problem after doing this, they sent me a new replacement.
Very happy with our warranty service and their product is of a good quality.
Fast hold and easy installatio
Very well made and solidly built. Very easy to install and holds fast. Do be warned however that uses an adhesive in addition to the suction cup, so can’t swap it between cars which loses a star for me.
Options
I have only used the optional vent grill attachment as I just need this on occasions. Easy to slot into vent blade with a simple pull down grab that securely holds the mount even with the iPhone attached. Used in conjunction with the SYNCWire iPhone car charger. I can confirm from my wife’s version that the suction pad is very solid in use, part from the hottest of days in the middle of summer – say, above 30 degrees.
Very professional company
I bought a car Phone holder and when I had fitted it and used it for a while I was so happy with it I bought another one a few months later. Over a year later the plastic ball screw fitting broke on one of them unfortunately . I contacted Vanmass through Amazon and got a reply almost immediately. I sent a photo of the problem and with in the day got a reply to say they would send me a replacement which I received 4 days later. So what can I say, you can’t get better service than that. Fully recommend Vanmass with out a doubt.
The car phone holder I have been looking for !
I have tried various makes and been disappointed with them but this one has really made a difference to using my mobile phone, as it has all the things missing from other makes,for instance it is very easily adjustable to be able to put it in whatever position that I or my wife want to operate it in, espacially as our phones are screen sensitive and to accidentally touch the screen during using satnav means having to stop when able to reset the map.
Also, this model ,having two ways of fitting to the car means I can set mine to the windscreen and my wife has her fitting on her dash bored grill and it is a simple task moving the mount between her car and mine when needed.
The actual phone holder looks really nice. It feels very sturdy and it holds your phone absolutely spot on. It’s easy to assemble and adjust so you can see your phone at the perfect angle.
I prefer mounting my phone holders onto my dashboard. This one comes with a sample mount which is sticky on one side to stick to the dash and then the other side is just a suction side.
I installed the phone holder and didn’t put a phone on it for a couple of days to let the sticky pad get as strong as possible. Unfortunately, it’s lasted about 3-4 weeks and the sticky pad fell off the dash. The actual phone holder was still perfectly suctioned to the mount but, the mount was no longer secure. This caused my phone to fall on the floor which, I was not happy about.
I personally think if you are mounting this to a windscreen, you have probably found the perfect phone holder however, if you want to stick it on your dashboard I would consider alternatives.
Certainly not a bad phone holder hence why I have left a fairly high rating.
Good service
I expected this to be easy to install. I meticulously followed the instructions to fix this to the dashboard of my Renault Scenic which has a slight texture in the plastic surface. However, the phone holder did not adhere and fell off. I tried fixing this in a different location on the dashboard and the same thing happened. Notified Vanmass customer service and they provided a replacement (slightly different model). The second one did adhere to the dashboard and works just fine. Good customer service when something did not work as expected.
Really liked this product when I first received it – installed it first time with no problem and it was great for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately it then came off the dash during the heatwave, and I was unable to stick it back on. However, I reached out to the supplier and their customer service was fantastic – no questions asked, they apologised and sent out a replacement. Sadly it seems the texture of my dash is just not ideal for the product and I was unable to get it to stay on, and I can’t use the air vent clip as they don’t work in my car. But I like it too much to give up, so although it is a little further back than I would like I have now stuck it to my windscreen and it’s as solid as a rock once again. FYI I have a landrover discovery which has a somewhat textured dash.
So although the item hasn’t worked perfectly for me, hence the 4 star review, the customer service is second to none and I have no doubt that if I were to have any future issues they would do whatever was required to resolve it.

This phone holder is easy to use and easy to install. The push button at the back is what makes this product so much better than other phone holders I have used where you have to manually open the holder to hold your phone. The only downside to this product, which at the same time can be seen as a huge plus to many, is that it is really really strong. After putting it on my cars windshield it was very sturdy and strong. However, when removing it to put on a different car, I was struggling and that is the only reason it is 4 stars. Having said that, it is not impossible to remove and certainly wouldn’t be a reason I wouldn’t get the phone holder. It also comes with a warranty which is always nice to see.

At full extent the arm does transmit some vibration when the vehicle is driven over rough surfaces but it’s not excessive. Holding arms adjust well.

We always used their products (without really knowing the company, just following the best reviews) and every product always felt sturdy. So I was really disappointed when my wifes phone holder snapped after nearly 2 years ( I have my one for at least 3 and half!)
So I contacted them on a Saturday evening and the customer service replayed to me on Sunday morning saying that they had sent a replacement free of charges and they were also giving us discounts for the future purchases.
It arrived on Monday, it was the new one which felt even stronger and easier to install.

I’ve tried multiple phone holders for in my car over the years and they’re all rubbish in comparison to this one. Yes, it is slightly more expensive but it is worth it. Very sturdy, holds my massive Google Pixel 6 Pro with no problems in the vent. I messaged the seller as I was unable to stick it to my dashboard as it’s curvy and leather (Nissan Qashqai for anyone wondering). They sent me out a free disc to attach to the dash that arrived the next day and works perfectly, so now I can use both the holder on both the dash and the vent. Excellent customer service, excellent product, really happy. Highly recommend

After numerous years of searching for an ideal phone holder, and after reading the reviews I bought 2 of these, one for me and one for my daughter. Both of us are extremely satisfied with this product. We both use the air vent fixture and had no problems fixing it and never any problems with feeling it was going to fall off, even on our extremely bumpy roads around our area of home. My daughter has a newer iPhone which sits nicely within the clamps, even with her phone being in a case.

I bought this Vanmass Car Phone Holder and was impressed with the very speedy delivery from Amazon. The Vanmass packaging is top quality and the installation instructions are clear. When I opened the contents, the first thing I noticed was the weight and good quality of the hardware. It all seemed really solid and well-made. Once I got familiar with the assembly, I liked the adjustability of the linked components. The holder plate is adjustable in all directions with a ball joint that can be tightened with a knurled wheel, once the ideal orientation is found. The clamp itself opens nice and wide, with a smooth, damped action on pressing the easily-reached release button.
The arm has two adjustable joints that are tightened up by means of wing-nuts. One joint pivots, the other slides telescopically. Again, the feeling is one of solidity. Since the main arm is telescopic — it is possible to alter the reach of the phone nearer to, or further away from, the driver. This I think is very convenient. The telescoping action is tightly secured with the wing-nut.
The entire kit, as supplied, offers three methods of attachment to the car. The first is via a gripping component that attaches to the grille vent on the face of the dashboard. This looks like an upgraded version and has a ball connector for direct connection to the phone-holding plate. This clamp can be tightened up, again with a wing-nut, onto a vent grille chosen to suit the driver.
The second method is by an angled sucker gripping directly onto the inside of the windscreen. This looks very well-designed and suction is achieved by operating a lever on the body of the suction housing. The sucker dome is itself very adherent to the glass. This is where the telescopic arm of the device really comes into its own. Of necessity, it can be quite a reach from the internal surface of the glass to a point above the dashboard to where the driver’s fingers can actually make contact with the phone. The generous extending arm makes this feasible and more comfortable. It’s a good idea to arrange the installation so that a part of the arm is resting on the dash edge — to increase vertical stability even further. The final method of attachment is on the top surface of the dash itself. For this, Vanmass supply a self-attaching pad, onto which the suction pad is then applied. This needs the dash top to be fairly flat and smooth. Again, it depends on the car design, but also allowing a part of the arm to rest on the dash edge would be useful for stability — but not vital.
All-in-all, a nice product of obvious high quality and it’s great to have such a wide choice of different installation methods. I’ve also found Vanmass customer service in the past to be excellent. Well done Vanmass.
