The light is quite bright and the motion detection works as advertised. Only reason to give it 4 instead of 5 stars is the light, on the #2 setting only lasts 6 hours from the onset of darkness, which only provides light for part of the evening. The motion detector will cause the bright light to come on until daylight, but the dark area may allow someone to get closer to your home.
All in all, a good product.

These solar flood lights were so easy to install anyone could do it. And they light up a large area. They work perfect around my garden at night theotion sensor helps keep the deer away.

Just installed and all seems well so far, except the main light only rotates ‘up’ from straight ahead. There does not seem to be a way to ‘fix’ this so I will have to install a shim (which I currently don’t have) or grind off the stops to get the main light pointing where I want. Unless I am missing something (I tried reversing the main-light mount – NOGO) this seems like a fundamental design flaw.

I bought two for different places and they came quickly and work very well. Super easy to install. Will see how long the solar works…

The only issue I had was the remote control did not work.
To the manufacturers credit they sent me another remote but that one didn’t fix the problem.
Maybe being on a steel siding building is interfering with the signal?

Product is hard to look at it is so bright. This is not a floodlight. Will illuminate the near area, is not for reaching out into yard to allow for nighttime activities. As I use for my driveway, to see to get into vehicles at night, this works great. I did have a small issue with the 1st one ordered. Most excellent customer service!!! I am a outside sales rep, and for me to recommend their cust service, it has to be good!. Fast response, took care of the issue at their expense. Well worth the $.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis solar outdoor flood light is bright with its 4000 lumen as advertised. Its brightness covers about 40 ft. wide and 20 ft. deep. Motion detection covers about the same area, 25 ft. to its edge. Installation is relatively easy with the light, but not much with its solar panel. The back plate of the panel mount has narrow clearance.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have had this product for about 3 months now. The product was easy to install, and the cable for the solar panel is long enough to install the solar panel at another side of the building. Even with only about 4 – 5 hrs of sunlight, it has worked without issues. I have it on sensor mode and it automatically detect motion when it is dark and turn on the floodlight. The sensing distance and the three headlamps positions are adjustable.
The solar panel is also very solidly made. I had a placed on my roof for a couple of days without it being fastened while I was testing it to see if the 4 – 5 hrs of sunlight on that location is enough. At some point, the wind blew the panel off my roof and the bracket fell apart. The solar panel did not malfunction, and is still working for about 3 months now; I simply used tape to hold the bracket in place.
So far, it works as described. I hope nothing changes in the future.

Easy to install and uninstall so you can move it around to get the right spot. Lost a star on the remote control. you have to get right underneath it to work but it does bet getting a ladder ou

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThe light has features that were important such as being able to set up solar panel at some distance from the light so to get optimum exposure to sun. As well the replaceable battery is a real plus. The downside when trying to mount is the solar panel is difficult to mount as the panel is in the way. As well there is little adjustment in the solar panel. In my case the solar panel was to be mounted on a wall. There is very limited movement so the end results is the panel ends up being parallel to the wall so far from optimum for exposure to sun. A longer flexible mount would greatly improve the mountability of the unit. Add to that the actual lights are fixed and cannot be moved. In this case the light is mounted 11′ above ground. It would be nice to be able to focus the lights closer to the wall. As it is they radiate out at 11″ This could be a great unit but for our use it is mediocre at best. The next issue is to find out the longevity.

    Update April 21, 2023
I have been contacted by the vendor expressing concern regarding the above review and expressed assurance that they were looking to deal with what was considered deficiency in the above review. Personally I find that very refreshing in today’s market place that a vendor does pay attention to reviews and makes a concerted effort to deal with them. In light of that the review is being changed to 5 stars and I look forward to very likely purchasing from this vendor in the future. I am IMPRESSED!!!!!.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis light is much brighter than the other solar lights I’ve purchased from Amazon in the past and I love that you can move the panel into direct sun for a better charge. The light also comes with (in my opinion) a major design flaw. You can’t angle the center light downward. If you’re installing it on a wall perpendicular to the floor the light will just shoot straight forward instead of the ground below it. The center light swivels upward but not down?? Why? I had to improvise and figure out a way to force it downward. I also don’t like is that even on the highest sensitivity setting it doesn’t seem to want to trigger past a certain short distance from the sensor. I’ll continue to adjust it and see if angling the sensor head will correct the issue.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOur front walk was not well lit and could be hazardous if the barn cats were roaming or resting on the tree stump or walkway. We added the solar floodlight to the top of a post and included some solar lanterns too. We wanted something decorative but functional and specifically wanted solar instead of direct wiring. This floodlight is great and fits the bill perfectly. It has several adjustments to customize the field or sensitivity. The remote control works from the comfort of our living room or front porch. The light is compact and fits nicely at the top of the pole. The solar panel collects the needed energy and once the sun goes down, it pops on to project light on the walkway making it safer to navigate to the house if anyone or any animal steps into the sensor’s view. We have it set with a wide enough field that it will pop on for good lighting from our driveway, across the walkway and even sheds light on our front porch. This is very helpful, especially during the winter when it’s overcast and dark early. We’re in the Midwest and have had a lot of overcast, cloudy days; however, this unit still manages to charge and runs most of the night – even in cold weather. We were -11 in late December, 2022 and went 18 days in a row without sunshine. Amazingly, this light still managed to garner enough solar to work through the night. We were pleasantly surprised that it was still able to function with the lack of sun. We put it up the beginning of November, 2022 and it’s already had some snow and ice on it but it doesn’t appear to have any issues. Since it would be outside and on a pole, we beefed up the screws for the brackets. The included ones seemed a little lighter duty and we wanted to make sure it was secure. So far, we’ve very pleased with the light.

I purchased this back in September (roughly 3 months) ago and was waiting to see how it performed in the dead of winter before doing the review. I have a shed in my backyard that is roughly 50 years from my house. The back porch light was not cutting it so I bought this to provide light if I have to walk to the shed at night.

No complaints with how it has performed. It is sufficiently bright for my purposes. And no degradation with the winter. Battery, light, and the solar panel have held up well. I thought the panel died after an especially cold night, however turns out something just knocked the cord from the panel to the light out (only had this happen once in the three months). Installation was only a handful of screws and pretty easy.

I do not use the motion sensor function or leave the light on for more than a couple of minutes at a time; so I cannot speak to how well or long they last.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersFirst let me say these lights are great I now have motion detector flood lights around my house with having to hire an electrician to hardwire a box in the areas I want the lights. So these meet the requirements, the solar & remote features are nice.I tested theses lights at night and the motion detector will pick movement up to 20 feet.
The one cons I found with this product is that pivot ball for the solar panel is limited it will only “Y” axis ,meaning you can only move it up or down. If plan to mount it on a wall facing north or south the panel can’t be rotated side to side to face east or west. The other con was you can’t rotate the main light bar up or down it is fixed.
