Fantastic set of wooden building blocks in a fun city scene theme including buildings like a school, police station and hospital. Over 120 pieces including vehicles, they are quite small and can be a bit fiddly to stack but that is all part of the challenge. Great for developing motor skills and hand eye coordination as well as creative and imaginative play. Comes with a small playmat and a neat drawstring bag for storage.

21.99 (at the time of review) feels a bit expensive for what it is, the set is quite small but fun to play nonetheless. Well enjoyed by the children and i like that these are something a bit different to the usual plain wooden building blocks you usually see.

Cute set, my 3 and 5 year old do like playing with it and I like that it comes with its own mat to put the buildings on.

It does take a little bit of effort to balance the blocks upright but much easier if they’re on a very flat surface like a hard floor or table instead of a carpet obviously.

Nice set for the money, very reasonably priced.

This is a lovely block set comprising of 100 blocks and a cardboard jigsaw puzzle play board.

The blocks are well made, smooth with no sharp edges. Different sides have different markings – such as numbers, letters, plain colours and city building/infrastructure.

The play board when put together is a city scape that you can use the blocks to build a city on – the play mat isnt great when playing on the carpet as it raises slightly causing the blocks to not stand properly however its fine on the table.

Limitless opportunities in terms of what you can build and waht you can dow ith the blocks e.g. number and spelling games as well as building.

Although its aimed at 3-5 year olds its easily entertaining enough for slightly older kids – certainly the 8 year old has enjoyed playing with it with the 6 year old and actually I think for that age range the buildings get a bit more imginative.

You also get a storage bag for when you are not playing with them and to keep them safe.

Overall this is a fantastic set and reasonably priced so I would recommend

It’s fun to play with my little together to build the block up, it not very easy for a 3 years old kids to build up by her own but it’s fun to teach her little by little having following the instruction. After they know it, it will come up their own style of creative wooden blocks. The colors in the blocks are bright and beautiful. I personal more prefer a wooden toy than a plastic one. So I think it’s really good price to get one of them and would recommend.

A comprehensive set of 100 colourful building blocks together with a 20 piece puzzle that doubles as a play mat and a useful drawstring bag to keep all the pieces together

    The wooden blocks are –
    -smooth with no sharp edges
    -are non toxic
-painted with lead free and phthalates free paint

The set has the CE mark and the UK EN71 so perfectly safe for young children.

The colourful blocks come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Some have numbers and letters on them. Others state buildings like – store, hospital, fire station etc. There are vehicles and people and accessories like trees, petrol pump etc – so many items which allow children to use their imagination and build endless city scenes.

I like this set and my grandchildren really enjoy playing with the blocks.
The puzzle play board is the only item in this set that I feel could be improved on.
I think that the blocks themselves have enough play value and there is no need to also have a puzzle.
The children found that where the edges of the jigsaws meet the blocks do not stack up as the puzzle does not lie completely flat.
It would be so much better if there was a fold out mat or even better a wooden play area.

Lovely pieces, but clearly strictly suitable for 3-6 yr olds, as our 7.5 yr old niece started playing with them and very soon got bored by the lack of complexity.
Beautiful to look at and touch.

This is a 120 piece block set aimed at 3-5 year olds.
It consists of a mat made up of large cardboard jigsaw pieces, then there are a plethora of wooden blocks (100 in total). These are all brightly coloured and multipurpose. One side is just coloured, another side has letters and numbers on them and another side has a design for making a little town/village (e.g. hospital, shop, hotel etc)

The blocks are well made, safe for children and have good designs on them. All of the pieces are well presented in a square cardboard box. There is also a cloth bag for storage once in use. This is a nice touch and well made.

My 5 year old children enjoyed playing with these, though they were slightly confused why the blocks had several purposes, but once explained seemed to enjoy it and one child was doing maths, the other was making the village.

I think these are a very nice toy for young children, but at 30 it is quite expensive. There may be better block toys on the market for cheaper. However if you are looking for blocks with multiple purposes and well made, then these are a decent buy.

This is quiet a nice building blocks set. It is suitable for ages 3-6 years old (if using with a younger child, adult supervision required). The building blocks are made of wood and are coloured with non toxic paint. The blocks are also phthalate free and lead free. You’ll receive 120 pieces comprising of numbers, trees, traffic lights, arithmetic symbols, letters, various vehicles such as an ambulance, taxi, bus, helicopter etc. so basically lots of building blocks in lots of designs. The building blocks are smooth, with no splinters. Also included is a storage bag and play mat. You also get a booklet showing some designs you can make, but I say leave it to the imagination of the child.
I got this for my almost 2 and a half year old granddaughter and we let her play with the building blocks under adult supervision. She’s had lots of fun with them for the last few weeks. These blocks would make a nice gift for both girls and boys. The current price of 28.99 seems slightly expensive for what you are getting.

Looking to keep the insatiable curiosity of a five year-old grandson occupied my attention was drawn to these Voamuw Wooden Building Blocks when offered for review under the Amazon Vine programme. Building blocks are something I can remember spending many happy hours with as a child, but these are a really lovely set far better than anything I had. 120 pieces feature not only alphabet and number blocks long with the operand symbols, but the ability to create your own town too thanks to an included colourful play mat in the form of a giant jigsaw that mimics roads and building plots and which can be put together in different layouts. Not only do you get blocks which allow construction of buildings, there are vehicle blocks too — a taxi, bus, ambulance, helicopter and characters like a nurse and a fireman too, as well as a tree, petrol pump, a traffic light and a phone box. Whilst inevitably this means things aren’t to scale there are loads here to spur the imagination and encourage creative play, which given both grandparents are keen on providing toys that get the grey cells working is a winner.

The use of wood means this toy is built with longevity in mind, and whilst the product information states that the set is designed for 3-6 years old there’s probably a bit much to take in at the younger end of that range, and a few of the blocks tend towards the small side. The toy will certainly last to enable passing own to younger siblings when outgrown. The blocks are smooth, rounded natural wood with absolutely no sharp corners, with water based non-toxic, lead-free and phthalates-free paint used throughout which is critical for children who learn by putting things in their mouths. The packaging confirms conformity with European toy directives, shown by the CE mark; and with UK EN71 testing, indicating that the toy is safe to use and fit for purpose. There’s a nice mix of primary and pastel paints used. Even when thrown or bashed that paint doesn’t chip or flake. To keep everything safe the set is supplied with a storage bag, as well as a colourful booklet that shows how to construct a wide variety of objects.

What your child gets here is a lovely, traditional toy ramped up with a lot of thought to encourage creative play — there really is tons here to keep a young child occupied and engrossed for hours, which is great for dark and wet evenings. Because the set fires the imagination the parents were delighted that playing with the set and making up games tired the youngster out, meaning they got some valuable time to themselves. For 28.99 you are getting a lot for your money, and a robust toy that will take the damage some children are capable of meting out. The grandson certainly appreciates it, making up all manner of games and particularly enjoying ‘driving’ the vehicle blocks around town on adventures. The buildings requiring putting together promote dexterity and fine motor skills too, and with a child who loves emergency services vehicles including police, fire and ambulance buildings in the set could hardly be more appropriate. I’m most impressed by this set which has been a big hit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Plenty to fire imagination and built to last too

Well made and Brightly colored blocks, comes with 120 pieces to build the whole city. My three year old boy enjoys to build the police station but still need assistance. A bit tricky to do it by himself and the “map” is small to fit all buildings.

The quality is good, well-rounded and smooth edges to prevent any harm to the kids. Nice design helps kids to know different buildings which is educational.

Nice package would be a great gift.

Lovely set of wooden stacker pieces in a range of building designs to allow your little one to build an entire community! Great for developing motor skills and imaginative play, but also for encouraging skills like colour matching, counting and linking play to things you see in the outside world.

The pieces are all vibrantly coloured and come in a drawstring bag for safekeeping.

These are smaller in size so perfect for a child three years old or older. They include trees, vehicles, stop signals, some of the blocks have letters on one side and other side has windows, doors, etc.. They are in various colors. They are more pastel but still perfect for a boy or girl as there are some bright colors included as well. There is a book that shows different buildings so you know what blocks you need to build it. Of course it is fun to build things with your own imagination as well.

There is a puzzle that you must put togetherr and that is basically the playmat for the pieces. The puzzle is not made of the high quality wood like the blocks. It is a cheap and flimsey cardboard that doesn’t stay together well on a tile floor. I am sure if my floor was more of a flat surface it would work better but still not sure how long that puzzle will last. I like puzzle concept as it makes the child use his or her brain prior to being able to play. It needs to be made with different materials. A wooden one would be awesome or a thick cardboard one like the typical floor puzzles are made of. A playmat would also be great.

These blocks are smaller than I thought they’d be but they are nice and smooth with no sharp edges. I love that they come with a bag for easy storage and it has little handles too to make it easy to carry around. Also has an instruction booklet but the beauty of these is the only limit is your little one’s imagination.
Some of the blocks are a bit grubby and I can’t remove the stains, not the end of the world as you can still make out the letter/number etc but does ruin this for me slightly and I wouldn’t have expected that for the price.
    Delivery was very fast though

Delighted with these wooden blocks for lots of reasons. First we do love wooden toys rather than plastic and building blocks are very traditional and versatile. They are in a printed box but have a lovely canvas carry/storage bag to keep them in. You can make loads of different things including the city scape, the blocks are quite small so not for under the age recommended and you need a good base to build them on, our wooden dining table fits the bill perfectly. Absolutely hours of fun and stimulation and compared to some blocks the price is reasonable.

These building blocks are colourful and fun and a good idea to keep children occupied.
The wooden blocks have smooth edges so perfectly safe for toddlers.
The blocks themselves have various different things printed on them such as library, schools, hospitals etc.
This is a good idea for children to have fun and to learn about some of the real life things.
As there are so many small pieces there is a small risk of losing some pieces but it came with a bag to store all the pieces which can be fastened.
I am very pleased with quality of these and I am sure my little one will enjoy them a lot.

This is a good play set for toddlers. There’s a big city map made of puzzle that doesn’t break easily. However, putting it all together took some time.

Then you have a lot of little blocks that can be placed on the mat and some characters to play with. The blocks are colourful, some have numbers, others are vehicles and trees or buildings.

It’s a good toy to increase toddler’s fine movement
and they can encourage building and concentration. A couple of different children can play with this at once.

We recommend this if your little one likes blocks.
