Heavy and sturdy
At first I was worried it would be too small, but it is the perfect size for 2 hungry people. Will take a bit of trial and error to use on a camp fire but thats the whole point. Great fun.

people saying it get rusty quickly, don’t know how to care about it, it’s cast iron, plain not painted metal, so use your logic, it will get rusty if you won’t take a proper care (google how to protect cast iron pots)
The pot is nicely made and does the job, perfect for off grid living

Cast iron pot, what more to say?
Decent size, heavy and solid. I use this for slinging into the BBQ coals and cooking up a pot of over the top chilli. Cleans up easy enough, but will need regular care like you’d expect with any cast iron. Definitely worth the price and will last a lifetime if cared for.
Absolutely excelle
You do need to learn to look after it but there are loads of youtube videos. Used this on the stove, in the oven and over a campfire and very very pleased with it. Very sturdy pot.

The Dutch oven arrived quickly, securely packaged and came with a handy zip bag for storage after use. Heavy quality cast handy lid remover and I will be cooking a beef and tatty stew for New yrs day . 100% recommended
A good alternative to the petromax
This is similar to the petromax FT4.5.
It weighs 5.5kg – 3 kg lighter than the petromax so much be thinner however it still cooks very evenly and the lower weight makes it easier for bushcrafting.
The only let down is the handle – this is the only bit that is really lacking. It doesn’t feel well made, only lays flat one way and isn’t designed to hang over a fire (though I’m sure I will bodge something!)

Absolutely love it - Perfect!
Really does the job and cooked my lamb to perfection. Perfect to fit into a halogen cooker. Don’t forget to season it after use as it is cast iron and will rust if not seasoned. This beautiful Dutch oven is going to last for years……
The real deal
We wanted this for our Halloween party as a prop but this is the real deal. Good for BBQ and or camping. Large, heavy great for our fire pit. Substantial the real deal

Bought for a camping trip where it done magnificently. Been using it at home since!
Kid managed to drop the lid lifting tool in the fire so it is a bit worse for wear but survived and is perfectly functional.
What can I say .....but....
This is simply a beautifully crafted piece of cooking equipment, appears really well made and extremely well thought out.
Less heavy than expected but really lovely to look at and I am very pleased I bought this .

Brilliant. Only thing people might want to consider is that if you have electric hob you’ll not be able to use it on hob because of the feet. But great in oven or on fire.
Very sturdy and a nice size
A lovely sized and sturdy cooking pot, we can’t wait to use it in the great outdoors. Looking forward to cooking up a big stew for our friends or making some bread.
This is a great product. Can go straight from the hob into the oven, great for “one pot” meals . In theory you can place coals on the lid to bake or use as an oven outside. The lid doubles as a griddle.
It’s very heavy when full but if brought to the table the food will stay hot. Unfortunately the carry bag has been designed far too tight and is difficult to get the pot back in. That aside it’s a great product.

Lovely small dutch oven, consistent thickness casting, very good weight, a well designed bit of cast iron cookware for camp and home cooking.
Given as a gift to someone who loves to cook outdoor, he was delighted.
The lid/ pan is very nicely decorated, and the accessories supplied are useful.
