This is a very handy bit of kit. Being a maintenance electrician this comes in very useful when connecting up electric motors and working in tight spaces.

Solid, compact and comprehensive little kit which would come in handy for anyone. Kept in my car for a week. So far have used it at work and to fix a kids scooter. Love Wera stuff, so we’ll thought out and great in the hand.

got this as I’m a security and fire alarm engineer for my service bag, it it top quality and great for those pop in and fix jobs . it’s light weight and the bits for screwdriver are great for removing front covers. the ratchet is small but strong, undoing a nuts easily.
a must for service engineers wanting a light weight tool system.

Brought these to use in tight spaces on machines I work on, they have made the job so much easier and can feel the difference between these and the cheaper sets I was provided.

Doing electrics there’s always gonna be that awkward screw that you just can’t access with an ordinary screwdriver, and no one likes to use a stubby. So the ratchet action spanner is an absolute life saver, helps keep me sane! It’s so nice to use aswell

Great product, good tool but the ratchet is just too small. It’s great for little odd jobs but I find the ratchet too fiddlely. But that wouldn’t put me off recommending it to someone else.

The 8mm socket on my set, which I haven’t used, has started to “peel”. Maybe this is a faulty part, hopefully Wera will replace this for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great but..

For such a small package this is awesome, I use this tool most days, and made carrying a set of tools much easier, the racket is really useful, plenty of different size bits and for the work I do the socket bits are ideal. The only bit that could be better is the screwdriver handle being a little to slim for me

I’m an engineer and use this everyday without fail. Great bit of kit that has most bits you’ll need. If I was to say anything negative it’s that the screwdriver handle is tiny

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Usersi have had my eye on tis tool for a while now, it was on offer at FFX , many months ago, but when i went to order it wa sout of stock, and then has been around the 78-85, so i looked on amazon and keep in my LISTS – looking every now and again to see any offers or price reduction – and sure enough down to under 54 which i could not ignore – so ordered
Within the last week – i have used a few times, very handy just to have this item – it is different from the old one as the bit does not have a catch – otherwise great – and the little wrench is good quality too. – would recommend , as to value for money – i have 5* – BUT Wera is expensive and a bit of a trea

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI picked this as a portable system having everything I need in place. Neat and tidy and easy to spot if something is missing. This goes some way to ticking that box. I’m going to skim past the quality as it’s a given by the name, however, this system is let down by the tiny driver handle and ratchet. It’s like a cracker toy. Granted I have big hands but not freakishly. The ratchet is useable at a pinch but the driver is not. When you consider this kit has PZ3 bits – the screw would be bigger than the driver. Why they could make the ratchet handle longer is beyond me. By coincidence I ordered a large handle driver for another purpose and I now keep them all together. The combination works fine but pushes it over 100. So yes, it’s quality but just be clear what you want it for as removing anything tight will be a stretch.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAs a maintenance engineer, this is the perfect kit. Everything I need in my pocket to do 90% of the small tasks that pops up on the go. The durability, quality and versatility is undeniable, as I have put this set through some challenging tasks, which it handled without any complaints. I know I’ll be using this set for years to come. The only “improvement” I’d perhaps like to see is another socket at the back of the screwdriver handle to fit the little ratchet for those times you need a little more torque. The handle can then also be used as an additional extention. Just a thought…

This item is worth its weight in gold. It does 90% of those little tasks around the house. I reach for this more than any other tool and it’s made a full size toolbox almost redundant. As a dad I’m constantly unscrewing toys to replace batteries and building toys this is invaluable!! Having everything I need In a drawer just makes life so much easier !! I know it feels a bit expensive but if I lost mine I’d buy a new one on the same day !! It has a great range of bits that will do for most domestic fixings.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI had this in my wish list for a couple of years and watched the price go up and down regularly. I love good tools and have waaaaay too many tools in the car, garage, workshop, house, they’re everywhere. I bought this for the glove box when at work in case I needed a small kit that along with a leatherman and electrical driver, could deal with most jobs. It doesn’t disappoint, its a great quality set and is much smaller than it even looks in the pics. eg; that not a full size screwdriver handle, its about the size of a terminal screwdriver handle. There are some duplication of bits inside, but this has been considered well as they are the ones likely to be broken when used in a drill or impact driver. Many of the bits are the more desirable ones with a thinner shank. The ratchet is top notch quality and can tackle torque its size would not suggest. All in all a great little set 🙂 thanks for reading

Golden Review Award: 37 From Our UsersMy girlfriend uses her bicycle to get around, in all weathers, and over quite some distances too, hence the cycle needs a lot of regular maintenance. She had been using a variety of borrowed (from me) tools but I decided to treat her to her very own set of tools, this wonderful set. I use Wera drivers regularly for my own hobbies so I know how good they are but this set is on another level – the min-ratchet is perfect for getting into tight spaces, plus the ratchet’s very small throw (only 6 degrees of travel I think) means that even if you don’t have much room you can still ratchet away nicely. There are a variety of Phillips, Posidrive and Torx bits, including the highly irritating Torx Security ones, which you have ZERO chance of removing without the proper tool, plus a mix of common metric socket sizes. There’s also a plain handle driver for when you just need to hold an item in place.

The quality is so good you don’t even have to know tools to truly appreciate it – my girlfriend immediately said “oh these are so easy to use and they don’t slip!” and indeed they don’t – so long as you choose the correct bit you can say goodbye to annoying rounding-out of heads – the bits themselves must be made of tough stuff because after quite a bit of use now they’re still almost as-new. Add on the brilliantly designed bit holder, which grips the socket or bit firmly until you release it by raising the holder’s little collar, so no more crawling around on cold ground looking for bits you’ve dropped, nor do the bits stick in the bit head, meaning you have to go in with pliers to retrieve it – not with these tools you don’t. Works first time every time.

Bonus is that girlfriend has now got the bug for home cycle maintenance so I no longer have to do it for her – she feels empowered enough to tackle any cycle task with ease, thanks to this brilliant tool set. Thoroughly recommended!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis is my second Wera kit, they are really nice tools, I got the Zyclop ratchet with interchangeable screwdriver shanks, so I figured I’d give this one a go.

It’s a great compact kit, a thing of beauty. The screwdriver handle and ratchet are tiny, ideal for tight locations.

Sadly as others have said, the selection of bits could have made it 5 stars all the way. They have Torx and Security Torx with the hole in (they work on non-security torx screws) and a lot of doubling up on cross heads but only one flat bit.

Should have had a No 0 Philips head for my bike helmet light screws I needed it for tonight! Also more flat heads and instead of plain torx some security bits like tri-wing etc.

If they could make a 15mm 1/4″ socket that would be ace for my bike!

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersEdit: updated review after 2+ years of usage.

A very versitile tool kit that is easily underestimated.

I have used this for over 2 years now and I don’t think there is a single day that goes by where I am not using this in some way, and makes all the difficult jobs easier and impossible ones, possible!

Every time I get this out of my bag colleagues or other contractors are always interested in it, joke about stealing it, or even worried about me leaving it on the side somewhere in case it might go missing.

Just today my car’s fuel pipe split and the jubilee clips were in highly inaccessible places. No problem for this little mini wrench and socket. Perfect life saver.

Recommended for any trade or home, takes up no space but so much versatility in one tiny package!

    Further edit /update:

Radiator in rented cottage was hanging off the wall (on the top section of the bracket). Put a wall anchor in the existing hole (incorrectly, they used a normal wall plug in chipboard with a cavity), and remounted radiator without having to disconnect anything.

This tool set as been a god send.

Golden Review Award: 61 From Our Usersiv had this now for nearly a year.and I have used it everyday in my job (escalator call out engineer,so it’s very heavy duty environment.)
First thing is it is very compact! So those expecting something huge don’t be fooled by its size,it has taken a lot of abuse in my job and is still in good shape (apart from the stubby screwdriver holder breaking off,my collegue did that not me!)
The bits and sockets are very well made and a good selection is given…however! This is where I said in the headline….almost perfect….like a previous reviewer said its only got one slotted/flat screwdriver bit,yet almost all the other pieces are in doubles, this is why Iv given it 4 out of 5 stars, since then Iv bought more flat/slotted bits and removed some of the doubles to make space for them.
So be it for the car, work, hobbyist, flat pack furniture, maintaince or just for the tool kit at home this set will not disappoint nor will it break on you easy, the price tag is high but buy cheap and you’ll be buying it again within a few months.granted there are cheaper sets out there but Iv owned wera products for home and work and I can honestly say they are worth their price as there durability and build are second to none, right up there with snap-on, bahco, king dick and britool
