Beach & Swim
I bought it to go to beach and swim on holiday – so used it as a cover up and kept me warm whilst returning to nearby hotel. I haven’t used it to change out of wet costume yet.
Delivered today and tried on. I am 5ft 8 in and size 14-16, and this is just the perfect size. Plenty room to mnoeuvre inside for changing, and good length too. Haven’t yet tried it so can’t comment on absorbency, but it feels soft and comfy. Very pleased with this purchase. Now just looking for some water….!
Perfect, does the job!
Does the job nicely. It’s not a premium brand or price, I’m glad I went with it. Life is a lot easier getting changed at the lakeside or beach and it keeps the wind chill off between activities.
Dry in minutes.
Ideal for swimming in the local pool. Get dried off as much as possible, put your dry shorts on, then the robe, walk to the car and drive home to dry off properly or shower then your day is yours. Works just as well at the beach.

So good I bought another. My original one was for when I came out of the swimming pool, second one for after a shower. Really absorbent and lovely and warm.
Great for camping
This a great idea for camping going backwards and forwards to the shower block. A friend borrowed me hers for a recent trip – and have brought the exact same one. There are cheaper ones out there but this is good quality . Order process easy arrived in a few days. Well pleased will see a few camping trips for sure.
Obi Wan Kenobi
Bought this for a Star Wars fancy dress birthday party. I went as Obi Wan Kenobi, my neighbours were really impressed. I gave the birthday boy his gift but apparently he already knew what it was because he had felt my presence..?
Excellent quality and very cosy
Wear around the house unlike a dressing gown it does not gape open. Nice and comfortable and soft. Can be used walking back to car after sports or on a camping site after a shower or the beach. Also bought one for my kids
It’s a towel poncho, with a hood. Left side pocket goes all the way through for changing or pocket of clothes underneath, right side pocket is attached to the towel with a zip.
Does what is says, let’s you change with privacy and drys you when wet.
4 stars because I would like both pocket to go all the way through so I can use both hands to put my shorts on.
After reading through the reviews on this robe , there were a few negatives with absorbency and I was a bit sceptical.but I decided to go for it and I’m so glad I did ! It’s SUCH good quality, thick, well made, and soaks up water no prob ! Oh and it’s warm ! And you can get changed inside it at the gym without a towel dropping and showing everyone your naked bod !

I am so glad I bought this. I’m big framed(!) so got the XL one but maybe should have gone for the L as the XL really is quite large. However, it makes no real difference to me as I just love it so much. It’s a case of out the shower, a quick dab down with a towel and on with the bathrobe. It is warm and soon gets you perfectly dry whilst getting your breakfast, etc. I haven’t tried it on the beach as a changing robe yet but I think the extra room in the XL will be perfect and stop those ’embarrassing moments’ you can have. I was thinking of wearing it to a fancy dress and going as a monk (just need to tie a waist band round it!). I just love it.
I got this for using after my sea swims – it’s quite big and has plenty of room to change and is warm too.
As far as drying goes, I don’t find it that great and still need to use a towel. The microfibre makes it a bit clingy so it sticks to you. The dye loss is ridiculous! Please, don’t put anything in with it – I’ve had it nearly 2 months and still the dye loss is extensive. I put it in with my cream towel and 2 colour catchers after about a month of 3 weekly washes – I now have a blue towel.
My other slight niggle is regarding design – one side has a slit at waist height, great for changing, but the other side has a zipped pocket – too small to be useful, but as a result totally defeats the point of the slit to help pull your clothes up, especially when you’re damp from the sea. Two slits would be so much better to the point I’m considering altering it, cutting out the useless pocket and making it better as a change robe.
In conclusion, it’s ok, I wouldn’t buy again, yes it dries quickly as it’s microfibre, but being microfibre it’s clingy and weird feeling and very bulky. Next time I’ll buy a towelling changing robe
