Love these ear buds. Easy to use. Excellent sound. The ncf is amazing and battery life good too. Only minor problem- box is so compact and neat have had to find a bigger container to keep them in so I don’t lose them.

NC works great, ambient mode worked well and you can hear the sound around you slightly amplified. Good sound definition. Pairing to 2 devices is really great as you can move between devices without doing anything other then pressing the accept button on your phone or laptop. Great for the price.

Had 8 months of use then one earbud became faulty with reduce sound. I tried everything manufacturer recommended to rectify this problem but nothing worked. I got intouch with earfun via email but didn’t receive a message back – I had though but the message from earbud ended up it my spam folder which is why I hadn’t seen their 2 messages that were offering a replacement set of earbuds/or refund. I have accepted a replacement set and they’re on the way to me now so all good with service. The earbuds are excellent quality for the price.

The sound is amazing with this price. However the active noise cancellation seems not as good as my old B&O one which is already bought 4 years ago. Overall the experience with earfun air pro 3 is excellent.

I only had one complaint when I got these but they amazingly updated it so it is now perfect. The app that you download where you can control the headphones gives you the option to decide how many taps and on what ear they should be assigned. For eg one or two taps for pause or Siri etc. you can also change the EQ. The headphones are comfortable for in-ears and they are sturdy. I had a problem and the customer service was quick and very generous with 18 month warranty! It’s nice to support business who care. Very different from what u get with Apple with is expensive and you already know it’s a hassle if something is wrong.

You need to give them a bit of time to run in and you absolutely must use the equaliser to set them up correctly (see Reddit posts). One major flaw is that when you remove them from your ears, they don’t automatically pause the audio. A real shame as otherwise they really are excellent value for money. The app is pretty decent too.

Considering these are 1/5 the price of AirPods I wasn’t expecting equal performance but I wasn’t disappointed. The noise cancellation is very good. My other half bought earbuds of similar value that claim to be noise cancelling but don’t at all. The sound quality is good. If you want good performance but don’t want to spend ridiculous amounts on something that you’d be so worried about losing you wouldn’t take them out of the house then these are a great option and certainly the best performance in this price band. Would buy again when I inevitably lose these!

I have previously used the Echo Buds 1st and 2nd Gens, loved Mt 1st Gen buds but the left stopped working, I bought the 2nd Gens but no matter what I tried, they wouldn’t fit in my ears properly and hurt. I decided to give the EarFun Air Pro 3s a go. I saw amazing reviews for the entry model but the ANC and talkthrough was important to me. I am amazingly impressed so far. Really comfortable and amazing audio quality.

I enjoy all varieties of music from Pop through to Musicals and all my tracks sound top notch on them so far.

I’d never heard of the brand before purchasing these but they are not just another knock off.

I have had numerous Sony products but I’ve had issues with my last linkbud S developed a fault after a couple of months. I was going to buy the expensive XM5’s but when reading some reviews these ear buds came out as a good inexpensive alternative to Sony and other top makes. They have very good sound quality. You can taylor the sound via the app. Earbuds are only passive noise reduction, good for cutting out constant noises like fans, aircon etc. It won’t cut out annoying loud music in a gym but the volume is loud enough to drown out the external music. Only annoying thing is the tips of the earbuds which are a very thin material and when you pull them out of your ears they pull inside out like an umbrella that’s blown backwards in strong wind. Overall I’m very pleased with my choice so far. Warranty is 18 months. Hopefully these will be more reliable than my last pair of Sonys.

Update on review. After my idiocy of losing the charging case EarFun offered to send me a free case but said it could take a couple of weeks to arrive. It arrived TODAY and have charged them up and I am now using them. THANK YOU EarFun for the free charger including free postage from China. The earbuds are 5 star, Customer service 10*

I use ear buds mainly to listen to audio books and podcasts while commuting on the train. These Air Pro 3 are by far the best in terms of sound quality and noise cancelling that I have used. I have never bought or listened to any earphones which cost more than 80 but I have bought ear buds around the price as the Air Pro 3 and they definitely beat all of those.
I never write reviews, but what has compelled me to write this one was that after only a few days of using them, I STUPIDLY l put the charging case on the roof of my car, got distracted and drove off. Realising my idiocy a couple of hours later after frantically searching my car and pockets, I contacted EarFun in the vain hope they might sell the charging cases separately and could I buy one, I still have both the buds it was only the charging case I left on roof.
EarFun responded promptly saying that unfortunately they didn’t sell charging cases separately but they would get me one sent over from China which may take a a week or 2 to arrive. I am truly delighted. Even though I offered to pay and am still willing to pay for another case they have not asked for any payment.
I am truly quite overwhelmed by their customer service. I had resigned myself to having to buy another pair for my stupid actions.
I am happy to use my old inferior other different buds while I wait for the case to arrive from China.
Apologies for such a long winded review but I was and still am totally overwhelmed ny the caring and fantastic customer service I have received and can’t wait to use my Air Pro 3’s again when the charging case arrives.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI have never paid this much for earbuds before. My last pair were 40. They were good but seeing noise cancelling urged me to spend more and get these. Case is smaller than my last soundcore purchase. The buds look so cool and fit so much better. They pair up in 2 seconds not 10 -15 as soundcore. Sound quality is outstanding. Really tight bass, great mid range and high end. The app you can download to work with these buds is really good. You can update firmware and the app comes with a great graphic equalizer. Ambient sound is really good and the sound cancelling just knocked me for six. For 70 You get such an amazing product that comes with 24 month warrenty from manufacturer. Very happy with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI had the EarFun basic earphones and found them great but when a deal came up on theses I swapped them and amazing charge and works with the app. Noise cancellation is not as good as say the Sony headphones but still good. Comfortable to wear from long periods of time and get 47hrs of play. This is a lot of tech for very little money compared to higher brands and would totally recommend them for the price, sound quality and battery life.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersCan’t believe how brilliant these are for the price. ANC is perfect. The way they handle bass is probably one of the best I have heard. I have been using full sized headphones for over 30 years and have only recently moved over to earbuds. I use them for watching movies for 99% of the time so needed earbuds that could really handle sound well with no lip sync issues and these do that job perfectly. I tried a few pairs of earbuds for over double the price of these but sent them all back in favour of the EarFun pro 3 hybrid. Highly recommend you try them

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersNot my first rodeo with headphones, i have had many different pairs from high end to budget. I can safely say these are worth every penny when compared to mainstream brands like Samsung, JBL or Apple.

Comfort is great and they pretty securely in my ears pretty well but not sure they would stay very well during hard cardio or weights work in the gym. However walking and general day to day use I have had no issues with ear pain or discomfort.

Out of the box the sound profile is very very bass heavy, so downloading the app and changing the EQ is must, you can save your settings in the app. The app is very average but that’s not a massive issue for me, I wont be using it much.

The case is decent quality and the headphones themselves feel great, no complaints on that front. The hear through function is useful and the noise cancelling is ok, noticeable but nothing near as good as my Sony ANC buds, but then they are much more expensive.

I listen to a lot of rock and guitar music and these buds are exceptional for that, plenty volume and dynamic range. For the cash these are easily the best lower cost wireless buds I have used, they shame the mainstream brands.

This is my 8th or 10th earbud, can’t remember, and it pretty much ticked all the boxes at that price point! It looks good, doesn’t bulge out from the ears, fits snugly, no ear fatigue, loud, clear, long battery life, seamless multipoint switch between devices, wireless charging, type-c charging, strong case magnet, IPX waterproof, each earbud independently used etc.

    Cons:
    – Poor case aesthetic design
    – Mobile app features too weak
    – Touch control response is can be better
    – ANC is less than impressive
    – The usual in-ear ear cannal pressure
    – They didn’t need to brand “earfun” boldly on each earbud, a little logo could’ve been enough.

Overall, it’s one of the best out there, even top YouTube reviewers agree. It easily competes with apple, nothing, sony, beats in terms of quality and features and it’s just half their price! Regardless of the cons, I strongly recommend it and I’m definitely buying it again.

These sit in the middle of my range of earbuds and headphones, but easily get the most use – they provide very acceptable quality sound for music, plenty for watching videos and even make an acceptable set of earbuds for video conferencing. Not tested the microphone, but the feedback from my colleagues is that the mic is far better than my plantronics headset that cost twice as much.
Noise cancelling on the mic seems to be better than anything on the headphones – but then I’m comparing them to Sony over ear headphones that cost near 4x as much!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersUpdate: Customer service has been great! I got offered refund or new item even though I hadn’t asked for it. And I got the refund, so there’s a good chance that my issue was somewhat rare.

After a few usages, I couldn’t factory reset because right bud wasn’t touching properly to the case. Only after forcefully pressing on it, I could factory reset and resolve a connection issue.
I was expecting more quality and stability with those recommendations.

A lot of the features of more expensive competitors, game mode latency is fine when playing PUBG (not brilliant), sound quality is great for the layman and noise cancelling works. On top of this they’re intuitive to use and easy to pair and switch between devices.

I have tried various earphones from other manufacturers and have been left disappointed either due to fit (Edifier Neobuds Pro) or appalling mic (Jabra Elite 4 Active).

I have owned the EarFun Air Pro 3 for a month now and I’m quite happy with them. They’re comfortable, have good sound quality (certainly not audiophile quality but good enough for every day use), noise cancelling is adaquete, and have a clear microphone for voice calls.

Overall these are a solid pair of earphones.

Occasional crackle which could be my usb Bluetooth, fit great, app is ok, could easily do sports in them without falling out (for my ears anyway), cheap and switch brilliantly between phone and laptop, pairing is a bit of a faff, sound is fine for me but I’m not an audiophile, sound cancelling seems good but I’ve never tried expensive ones to compare but so far very happy with them, as there not 200 plus earbuds its no big deal if lost.

  28. Joshua Fruhlinger says:

Bought these on the back of some very detailed reviews. First time using them today and I have to say they are excellent (although I have not other earbuds to compare them to). Out of the box they were easy to charge. They feel solid too.
As others have said, you definitely need to install the earfun app from playstore. It enables you to adjust the treble and reduce the bass. Bass default setting is quite heavy – I like rock music so there needs to be a bit of a balance so to speak.
Its good to have the difference size earbuds. I’m able to shake my head and the buds don’t fall out.
Noise reduction seems to be pretty good as well but it is early days.
The charging case is quite compact as well and the earbuds hold firm – there’s a magnetic strip somewhere that keeps them in place and secure when on charge, so even if you tip the open case upside down, the buds won’t fall out.
I will write another review once I’ve had these for a little while, but so far, so good and no complaints from me!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThese are amazing value for money. They have active noise cancelling which works well, the sound quality is great, and I’m told they sound alright in a teams call too. The battery lasts me all work day, and they charge really quickly in the case. Build quality is good, the case is nice and compact, they fit well and come with different sized ear cups. They will connect to two different devices at once, I have them connected to my phone and laptop simultaneously, and they pair pretty quickly. The only downside is that they don’t automatically stop playback when you remove them from your ears, but do when you put them back in the case. I was worried when I bought them that being so cheap they’d be a bit rubbish, but they are excellent. If you’re on the fence, definitely give them a go. There is even an app to control the sound quality, check the charge and change the noise cancelling (normal, pass-through/ambient noise, noise cancelling). I love them!

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersWhat I went shopping for was wireless earbuds that were good for voice calls in fairly strong wind.

Previously, I’d tested a load of different pairs, I think eight or nine makes, described as good in the wind and found them all bad in the wind. The Sabbat ones I’d settled for were OKish for voice calls in wind but awful for music. I’d put up with carrying two pairs for a few years, them for calls and others for music.

In May 2023, I decided to see if there’s better stuff of sale now, read a lot of reviews here and online and tried out the EarFun Air Pro 3. And I’ve been absolutely delighted with them. For calls, wind straight on the side can be heard a bit by callers but nothing in all other axes. Obviously, there’s a limit to the wind they can cope with. I’m not expecting them to handle me with my head out of a car window doing sixty. But for the typical range of weather, they’ve been brilliant.

Musically, they’re terrific. I’ve pushed rock, prog rock, jazz, pop, dance and techno through them and they’ve given a balanced, even sound with plenty of action. That was a bonus as I hadn’t expected that along with the good mic performance.

They’re also a pleasure to use, to put in and put away. The box lid and the earbuds magnetic hold in the case all have a nice positive action to them and feel very convincing. Charging is easy enough and they have plenty of days life for me. The Android phone app lets you customise the touch control actions for both earbuds, use an optional graphic equaliser and update their firmware.

All in all, really pleased with them and can’t fault them but can certainly praise them.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThese are a major earbud the earfun air pro 3 is the best budget earbuds out there I have bought these earbuds by looking at all the reviews on YouTube and I can honestly tell you these are better of if not in the same league as the apple earbuds 2 for 60 these earfun air pro 3 have the same sound quality as the major brands out there the noise cancelling on the earfun air pro 3 is not the best but I’m telling you it is not no slouch eather and you can listen to your music with noise cancelling with significant changes to the environment for my taste I like ear buds that have noise cancelling capabilities like the earfun air pro 3. So these wont be the top tear noise cancelling ear buds but sounds quality is amazing I’m giving these earfun air pro 3 a 5 star rating these are amazing and it shows that you dont need to pay a arm and leg for good quality earbuds

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI’m not a regular reviewer of the things I buy, but this time I thought I should.
I’m a music lover and listen to a wide range of styles; I own a number of different pairs of earbuds and have always been a bit underwhelmed with my purchases and have stopped using them or have given them away. My preference is for a clear sound where you can hear separation between the instruments and vocals and not too much bass; so I got this pair and I love them, I’ve just realised that I’m using them more often to listen to music than I have been doing for a long time, so they must be doing the things that appeal to me well.
These are the best sounding and most comfortable earbuds I have and wholeheartedly recommend them

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our Users1 Month Review:

It has now been a month I’ve been using it. Overall I am quite happy except a couple of things to consider.

    The Good:
I have been able to pair them with my phone and my laptop so I don’t need to carry an extra headphones for my laptop, I can do my online meetings with them.
Sound quality is great especially with it’s ability to block external noise. I don’t need to raise the volume up on the train to hear the music.
Ambient sound is very useful when you want to listen what’s happening around without taking them off.
Battery has been excellent so far. And the three dots on the case is useful to know when to charge.
Case is small and so easy to place the earphones back into it because of the magnets.

    The Bad:
While listening to music if I pause and play again the sound comes only from the left earphone and sound starts breaking until I pause and play again. (It’s not a constant issue but it does happen. Already contacted the customer service for this and they suggested a few ways to try out to fix it, so I’ll see how that goes)
Not a fun off the buttons, I prefer physical buttons. I rather know if I clicked the buttons. With touch buttons it’s hard to tell.

I’ll update the review in the coming months.

4.0 out of 5 stars So far so good

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersThese ear buds are a nice shape and a great fit. The sound is quite rich with good bass response . The mid range is detailed enough on voice parts and the higher frequencies are crisp enough but sometimes a little too tinny. For the price they’re excellent musically. The ANC is reasonable but depends on the fitting of the ear buds. Pickup and mic quality is really good. The fact that I can simultaneously pair them with two devices is a very useful capability.
The only thing letting them down which was a function available in V2, is ear fit detection. If you have the bud fall out of your ear or is pulled out, the sound source still plays. This is a disappointing feature absence but is the only issue in an otherwise quality produc

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersHave used this product 5 or 6 times now so here are my thoughts.
Firstly they stay in the ear pretty well with the tips fitted out of the box. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. The sound itself is pretty good but you can hear that the mids suffer a bit and vocals can seem dampened slightly on certain instances.
As for active noise cancellation (really the reason I bought them) it’s ok without being brilliant but then again I’ve nothing to really compare it to. I know you can’t expect total blockage from outside sounds but with noise cancellation activated I’m still clearly hearing road traffic when out walking and I suppose I had hoped these would block most of that out.
That said you have to consider the price of these buds. Overall for 59.99 they represent good value for me and I’d happily recommend as being the best budget buds I’ve owned. Maybe I just need to add an extra 100-150 to this price to achieve the noise cancellation I’m after so I can fully enjoy my music and podcasts without the annoyance of speeding traffic on my walks.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersAfter doing quite a lot of travelling on the train, my old earbuds weren’t up to it letting in to much outside noise, so I decided to purchase some noise cancelling buds.
I did purchase a pair of Anker A40’s but sent them back as I wasn’t happy with the fit despite trying all the tips supplied and the sound cancelling wasn’t great.

So after another round of looking at reviews I thought I would give these a try.
They have impressed me with the sound quality so far. Some have said they are too bass heavy but that’s easily rectified in the app as it has a built in equaliser.
But the real reason I purchased them was for the sound cancelling which works pretty well.

It doesn’t cancel everything, I didn’t expect them to, but each mode (ambient, noise cancelling and normal) work as described.
I did notice that whilst cycling against the wind , normal was better than noise cancelling as the wind buffering seemed to interfere with the noise cancelling too much and made the wind noise worse.

I have found the app ok, I’m not sure why it only has a 2.8* out of 5 rating on Play store as it does what I want it to and is easy to use.

Anyway all in all I’m impressed with them and pleased I have purchased them.

    + Value for money
    + Build quality seems good
    + App works well
    + No disconnections
    + ANC works well
    + Secure fit

Minor gripes = not as comfortable as my old buds but it is minor and doesn’t always auto connect, but it connects via the app no problems

    – None really

Golden Review Award: 37 From Our UsersUpdate Nov 2023! 10 months later and after 3 firmware updates these are now great! Love them! The bass is now good and now with added features. Highly recommend you buy them!

    Feb 2023.
‘LE Audio’ doesn’t work on my phone, no LDAP, no smart sensors and initially wooly tuned bass heavy driver. Out of the box the sound had horrible booming bass, plus flat dull vocals. However after firmware update to v0.4.2 and device (the phone’s Equalizer) and APP EQ adjustment they then sound very good. They will need re-tweaking to get the best sound according to genre. But tweak your phone’s equalizer as well as the APP because this also effects the sound levels!
In Noise Cancelling mode the bass is amplified even more which is annoying.

The buds quickly and easily paired and connected to my Samsung phone with no issues or drop outs afterwards. Also connected to my Windows 10 computer. They can work independently by simply leaving one bud in the case.
The APP when signing in collects unnecessary user data (there is a law against that!), so don’t sign in. No Dark Mode for the APP, but overall the APP is good and the earbuds are mostly customizable. Basic but does exactly what you want it to do. Plus Noise Cancellation modes can also be changed from the APP as well as on the buds.
After firmware update to v0.4.2 the APP terrible treble sound pre-set seems corrected. Credit that these can be updated and bettered with firmware updates. So there’s hope for LE Audio.
It’s good that the EQ can be adjusted and personally set and pre-sets saved. But they are still too bass heavy!
They are loud with volume and power. The Noise Cancelling works well except for increasing the bass even more. The good tip seal helps with this. Sound mainly female voices still comes through but there is a noticeable difference when used. Ambient Sound is also effective over Normal but has a little white noise. There is a system voice informing the selected mode which is great.

The indoor mic quality during recordings is very good. During indoor phone calls people say the mic is good and the calls clear.
No EC Audio so battery life isn’t extended but otherwise they have very good battery life.
The design is spot on and they look good, and I do like the defined tap spot. Which with practice the touch controls work fine and there’s a helpful audible tone when touched. The instructions are basic but there is an online video. Customer Services were excellent.

The buds fit my small ears with good seal from the round soft silicon tips, and there are 4 sized quality black tips to choose from. Plus the tips come on a washable plastic holder which is a simple nice touch. The buds don’t feel heavy in the ear and are secure for normal use.
The USB-C wireless charging case isn’t the smallest but ok in the pocket and holds a good charge, so it does the job and works. Standard USB-C cable should be USB-C at both ends, but this has an older USB-A at one end for older chargers.

After some weeks of use is a quality product, these are very good earbuds for the price, and even without EC Audio working I’d recommend them. Once both Equalizers are configured and tweaked the sound is quite good and they work well. However with Noise Cancelling the bass is too heavy. Hopefully a future update can reduce that or another tip could help.
