if you want shiny gold filament, you can’t go wrong with this stuff, prints great at 205 on my ender 3v2 and S1..
Prints great and lovely shine
Took a bit of a gamble after reading all the good comments and so glad i did. Such a great sheen on it, pints lovely and well rolled on the spool. Great value for money
Quality
Used this silver brand for year or two now. Fluctuating prices sometimes but always good quality and you do get what you pay for. Pretty much stays the same sheen as it looks on the reel before printing. Once your printer is dialled in this stuff prints like a dream
Great Silks
Used on Creality Ender with glass bed. No adhesion issues. Printed with no problems. Great colour, especially when on offer. Ziro tend to be my go to for reasonably priced filament. Rarely have any issues with the filament provided. Thank you. I’ll be back for more.
Beatiful Print with no effo
I was impressed when i opened the box and realised it came with a free sample filament and some cleaning filament. As well as a bag to keep the filament nice when not in use.
Then i printed with the filament and it came out in a gorgeous dark red metalic finish I have so many things i want to print in this colour but only one spool!.. for now…
I strongly recommend this brand.
Really good quality PLA
Managed to get this PLA whilst on offer and I’ve gotta say, the stuff is absolutely brilliant! 60 bed and 205 hot end! Really lovely finish as well. It’s more purple in colour than blue but still absolutely love it!
Great Filament!!!!
The picture speaks for itself in terms of quality its a beautiful filament prints really well and looks beautiful. If I have a little complaint its the strength of the plastic which I think is below par but not in any major noticeable way.
Looks amazing, very brittle.
It looks amazing with silky smooth appearance. I did not managed to get the layer adhesion right. Tried 180 to 220 deg C. With cooling and without. Layer adhesion was always bad. It sticks to the bed very well. When printing things with small vertical features (arms or weapons on a figurine for example, they are so brittle that I accidentally snapped off almost every one thing I tried. It is fantastic for a ‘blobby’ thing without thin vertical elements – like masks, pots etc. It looks absolutely amazing. Just don’t do construction elements.

Awesome filame
Tried a lot of silk silver flaments and this is by far the best I’ve had so far, very smooth print, good adhesion no glue sticks or tape needed, really good quality and for a very good price, the resealable bag and nozzle cleaning filament are a bonus with each roll aswell!
Amazing!
I was slightly apprehensive, as I’ve had another PLA. That did not work out so well. But this exceeded all expectations. Amazing print quality. make use of the cleaning filament they provide afterwards to get rid of excess gold. Glad ai made the purchase.
I have tried many different brands of Silk Gold PLA. Most of them the colour was not to my liking or the colour of the gold varied from roll to roll. I noticed that Ziro made a silk gold which I haven’t tried. Well I’m glad I did. This gold looks impressive. Printed at 205 deg and bed temp 60 reduced to 50 after a few layers. This 14 hour print came out perfect. I use alot of silk silver from another manufacturer so looking forward to trying out Ziros Silk silver to see how it compares to my usual brand.
Superb PLA - great quality prints
First time I’ve purchased Ziro filament after printing for around a year, wanted the Silky Silver to print a Mandalorian model, so so happy – got a pretty much perfect print straight away on my Ender 3 (did a temp tower and came out at 200c) with no issues, no adhesion problems or clogs and the winding on the spool is perfect so no tangles. Have since bought another colour from Ziromand same results. Highly recommended. Also love that it comes with a dry bag for storage as well unlike some of the cheaper brands

Using the following settings of 205c on the hot end and 60 on the bed with no adhesion or extruding issues on my Ender 5+
Had issues with a PREVIOUS famous filament….had checked everything still getting issues.
Changed the filament to this ZIRO Silky filament….worked straight out of the box. Its brilliant.
Not suffered any blockages or stringing….my printer is an anycubic chiron bed temperature is 55 the hotend temperature is 190. AWESOME STUFF…..not bad price either…. 🙂
Fantastic quality at a great price!
Absolutely fantastic filament not only does it print well (ender 3 and cr10 v2 200 degrees 60 bed) it looks sensational. The silky gloss finish is brilliant and the colour is great. This was exactly how i imagined my oddish planter would look when printed and ziro didnt let me down.
So I have purchased ZIRO filament before and not really had a problem with it. So I thought I would try the Silky Series and went for the purple and printed a little trinket box. I have to say I was not disappointed. I have a Creality CR10, single extruder, and set the nozzle temp to 230 and bed to 70. I know you don’t need a heated bed with PLA but when I do I just use hairspray and the PLA adheres really well. Never have a problem. Ziro I have to say is really nice to print with. 10/10 for ZIRO SILKY IN PURPLE 🙂
