We have a TV which came with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime pre-installed (via buttons on the remote), and internet access but we didn’t pay for cable TV. We wanted to watch Freeview channels so ordered this antenna. It is a very lightweight plastic antenna. My daughter set this up herself. She was immediately able to access loads and loads of channels for free, and there is access to channels such as Disney+ for which you need a subscription, but at least it’s all there and easy to use. So very useful all in all.

I bought this for my mum for a TV in her bedroom. We tried several basic indoor Ariels, which didn’t work at all. I looked online, and all I could find had terrible reviews or were not very good. Then I came across this one, and I thought I’d give it a go because it had the most positive reviews. I plugged it into my mum’s TV and stuck it on her window relatively high- nothing. I thought more money wasted, then I decided to put it above her curtain rail, I wasn’t expecting much, and WOW, it worked. The picture is fantastic. I couldn’t be more thrilled because it will make such a difference for my 92-year-old mum to have the choice to get up and go in the front room to watch TV in there or, if she isn’t feeling too good, to stay in bed. Well worth the money. My mum lives in Herts, where reception can be dodgy. Thank you!
