The rails arrived well packaged complete with rails, blocks, guards and screws. The blocks and rails were covered in machine grease which I cleaned off with IPA. I cleaned and regreased with blocks with a lightweight grease. I have seen some people complain around these rails being greased however in my experience this is preferable to receiving ground surfaces covered in rust spots from being packaged in plastic and is standard practice in my experience.
The rails were ok quality with no real burrs and seem to be flat and straight. I havent measured them accurately and I am guessing they certainly are not hiwin standard but appear to be straight and true which for this price I am happy with.
I needed to cut the rails which I did with an angle grinder and cutting disc. They cut well and the steel looks like good quality with no voids or defects on the cur surfaces.
The fixing bolts were good quality again with no obviously malformed items and no burrs. I didnt use the bolts to affix the rails to my CNC as I needed a different length but did use them to fix the blocks to the machine and they were fine.
Overall I am pleased with these rails and for the price think they are worth the money. I will certainly be looking for more for my Ender 3. I have subsequently purchased some of the HGR20 rails for another project and these appear to be of similar quality.
