This mini PC maybe small but it is a decent piece of technology for the price. Being able to use it on a 43 inch TV means not having to balance a 10 year old but capable laptop in my lap that weighs a ton and needs plugging in after a hour or two. It’s also seems more responsive and faster than my laptop despite not having an i3 core processor.

I was so happy with my little PC. Ive bought to use for my business so due to the size i can transport around with me wherever i go. Brilliant value for money. I found when trying to replace both my pc and laptop when they both broke down in quick sucession and my budget was tight. This was the perfect solution for me

Got it with a 70 amazon voucher discount, so 165 final price, for the price you get a little powerful machine that runs windows 11 and office with no issue, I have set it up as streaming server, will add a 2tb drive and install proxmox on it to play a bit with virtual machine and containers, pretty good gadget that can provide hours of fun setting it up for various things. can be used as workstation with no issues.

I decided to replace my Android media player with this and am very pleased with it. Mine was a return which I got a little cheaper. I think somebody didn’t like it – probably expecting too much on the gaming front I suspect. I have a lot of old TV series saved as only mediocre resolution video but with the K-Lite codec pack installed using the bundled video player in the Standard install download they are upscaled well and downloads with newer codecs all play perfectly on my 4K TV.

Mine came with Windows 11 Pro 21H1 but I force updated that to 22H2 using the upgrade assistant. The newest 23H1 wasn’t offered just the features try out optional patch but probably will come soon enough. The upgrade ran through smoothly enough once I sorted the annoying default power setting which put it into sleep mode and I thought it had hung. It took a while but this is a fairly low end machine. Mounted on the back of a monitor with the provided bracket it would make a nice all in one for most people imo. It is overkill for my use as a video player and browser but that just means it isn’t stressed and runs only warm not hot. I haven’t heard any fan noise.

Quite why it gets listed as 512GB ROM is a mystery. It has an internal 512GB SSD that performs adequately and room in it to add another SSD. I keep all my video on USB3 drives and it has 2 USB3 and 2 USB2 slots. I opted to use a small bluetooth keyboard which I already had and bought a cheap bluetooth mouse to go with that. Should anybody need to get into the BIOS settings then a USB based keyboard either wired or wireless will be needed.

I got this little pc in order to stop my brother and son taking the micky out of my old big pc, this little gem has windows 11, does what I need it to do which I feel bad about as I am not all that good with computers and my little gem is not being used to her full potential. I love it so much I can take it with me when I go away it weighs next to nothing. I have only played classic games on it so not to sure how it holds up on the more modern games.

Terrific price for the configuration. The Celeron processor is also remarkaby fast. Price & size makes this device an option for all kinds of specialist tasks as well as a general PC. Expansion possibilities as well as more than adequate initial RAM/ROM. Bought for a community learning centre so ideal space wise. Good customer service with query.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo far so good, works well out of the box, windows 11 pro very smooth. On WiFi at the moment and working well, will be switching to ethernet shortly to get the best from my homeassistant installation in hyper v. Storage is plentiful for my needs.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersPositives
    Very well made
    Works well
Comes with a fully registered Windows 11 license

    Negatives
    Lack of USB-C ports
Should be able to be powered from USB-C instead of a 12v power brick
Why is the expansion for 2.5″ SATA SSD and not NVMe? it’d be smaller, heaper to make and less materials

    Neutral
Would be great to have some AMD Ryzen options
Would be better if external BT and Wifi connections
Comes with a fully registered Windows 11 license, would be better if they gave you the license key for re-installation purposes

How about a version with 2.5GBs network port or even better still, 2 x 2.5GBs ethernet and it’d make a very nice firewall/app server

Make the expansion add-on for 4 x 2.5″ SSD, it’d make a very good mini NAS.

    Overall excellent mini PC

Replacement PC for my old laptop as it was over 10 years old and very slow. PC is working well and Windows 11 is fine.

I had a minor problem with logging in after a few weeks. Contacted Ace Magician, who sent me a tutorial. Tried this and although steps followed exactly, it didn’t work. I was offered a new PC and all in, it took a week to send and return. The chap, Roy, was absolutely amazing help with me. A credit to the company. Thank you so much, Roy. Deserve a raise

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this to replaced a “Renewed” product I’d purchased, which was very poor.
This little PC was a breath of fresh air. Worked straight out of the box.
Only used for light home office work and basic surfing/shopping etc, but it does this with ease.
I haven’t and I’m unlikely to test its full abilities, which I know are greater than my use, but for what I need, it’s perfect.

Good mini pc, having had a mac mini for the last 10 years, i wanted to move back to windows and this has been a decent replacement. Tiny but mighty and not bad value, was less than 300 (at the time of order).

Was pleasantly surprised how fast this Mini PC is. It boots up in about 10 seconds, plays 4k video, it’s great for office applications, browsing the net and some light gaming. It was easy to set up and took me about 30 minutes to update Windows 11. It’s not a gaming pc although you can still play a wide variety of games, and while updating I did not notice any lag. I was going to upgrade the ram from the 12 GB provided to 16 GB but to be honest there is really no need. In my opinion it’s a great alrounder, well balanced and worth the 175.00 I payed for this Mini PC. The 50.00 discount sealed the deal . It’s a keeper
Hope I’m not back to rewrite this review

This is my first look at a mini pc and I have to say after years of using desktops, I am very impressed by what this pc can do in such a tiny box. It’s dead easy to set up. Just plug in your mouse and keyboard, plug in the hdmi to a monitor and your power cable. Turn on and follow the set up. No need to enter the bio system (although the instructions seem to mention you need to on first start up) it’s literally plug and play. Very quiet system. There is a fan on board as it does make a little noise when running programs, other than that it’s very quiet.

The pc does come with a mounting plate and screws for attaching to the back of your monitor if it is compatible. I just keep mine on the desktop as it’s so small that it hardly takes up any room. I got the one with the 256 gb harddrive which if you’re using this as a main computer, you’re probably going to want a bigger drive. There is room in the case to add an additional ssd card which I will be doing asap.

At the time of writing the pc costs 260. What you get for that price is the computer, the power cable and a very short hdmi – plus the mounting panel as mentioned. About right for a basic pc with these specs.

The only downside with the mini pcs is you can’t really upgrade them as easily as a desktop – as in improve the graphics card as it has an onboard one. As a run of the mill home desktop it’s a pretty powerful little thing. One comment is the hdmi is very short and if you don’t mount the pc to your monitor, you’re probably going to want a longer cable. Also could do with a few extra usb ports as it has 4, but I had to take up two for the mouse and keyboard. Nothing a hub wouldn’t fix, but would be nice to have a couple more available.

Other than that, I can’t fault that it’s a lovely little pc. A little basic, as mentioned, but excellent none the less.

What a fantastic little PC this is. I got a mini PC three years ago, which at the time I thought was small, but this PC really is breathtaking.

It is tiny. That doesn’t mean it won’t pack a punch though. Loaded with two HDMI ports (for dual monitors), USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports and a gigabit ethernet connection.

The PC itself is preloaded with Windows 11 Pro – not liking that, would have preferred 10 – but can’t really complain at having the latest version of Windows.

The PC has a 256GB M2 solid state drive, so literally does load up in seconds and a generous 12GB memory. It has a Intel Celeron processor. Now, this PC isn’t the fastest. You won’t be using this for games, but for Internet, office applications and streaming it is brilliant. I have tucked this behind our tele (non smart) in the kitchen and we have been using it for all the streaming services. Brilliant quality and copes more than admirably with what we want it to do.

A really excellent miniPC and one I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending.

With the caveat that I’m not very tech-y and haven’t bought a computer for over 10 years I have to say I’m blown away by this mini PC. The set up was very easy although you do need a couple of things that aren’t included here. Firstly an HDMI cable which I used to plug the PC into my smart TV (although a monitor would work too, obviously) Secondly a keyboard/mouse.
256GB of storage seems to be plenty enough for most people (unless you’re downloading loads of games etc) and this is a fast little computer. It sits neatly behind my TV ready to fire up when needed. As with most PCs you might need to buy various add-ons (cameras, speakers etc etc), but for someone like me who knows a little about computers (but not a lot) I’m very very happy with this device.

This small but mighty computer works really well for what we need it for. It has 2 HDMI ports but can support up to 3 monitors. Set up is super easy and does everything I need it to do. The kids can do their homework on it as well as any work from home thats needed. It takes up no space so is perfect for travel and moving around the house. It is great for streaming and can be hooked up to the tv with no problems. Its also really good for cloud gaming. It only has 128gig storage but an SSD can be added if needed. We are really happy with this mini computer and everybody in the house has used it more than once so it definately gets it use!

I ordered this, as my current rather old desktop cannot be upgraded to Windows 11.
    Construction
The way this is made is fascinating, it has a cute sort of vent around the top edge (it doesn’t really have a “top” as such, as it can be mounted any way up. There are LEDs inside that light up blue when the machine is running, and red when shutting down. There are various ports around the edges, including a generous 4 x USB ports (2 of them being USB 3) 2 x HDMI sockets, and a very welcome 3.5mm stereo jack socket for headphones (including mic) and a power on button. The machine comes with a metal “hanger” plate that can be mounted on the standard VESA screw sockets on the back of a television (or monitor) and it has centres of 75mm and 100mm, the mini PC can then be hung on the two pegs on the metal plate from two keyhole cuotouts, very quickly and easily. There is also a separate compartment on the bottom of the PC which can be unlatched without tools that can take an extra 2.5 form factor hard drive or SSD to expand the storage. A point though – you probably cannot mount this on the back of your TV if it happens to be wall mounted via the VESA points on the back!
    Use
I hooked this up to my 43″ 4k television via the HDMI socket and (supplied) short HDMI cable, and it worked straight off, once I remembered to power it up using the button. I plugged in a wired USB keyboard and wireless mouse and I was straight into Windows 11 on the big screen. I must admit that i was not impressed by all the info needed to get running with windows 11, but hey ho, once it was all complete, I had a working PC that has a reasonable turn of speed. I have done a Skype call on it so far, and a bit of browsing and it seems ok for the usual PC sort of things – I don’t think I’d want to try playing any games on it, but then I’m not really into PC games anyway.
    Conclusion
This is a perfectly adequate small factor PC for browsing the internet and checking emails etc, not really recommended for much more, although its nice that it has the drive expansion space in it, so you could install a biggish drive and store movies on it, if that’s what you want to do, picture was fine on my 4k TV so it is up to the task. I looked for some 4k content on youtube and it displayed very well, so no problem there!
For the sake of interest, I downloaded a simple game from the Microsoft store and it played OK.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can be discreetly fixed to back of TV or Monitor, and fitted with an extra drive too!

This PC is absolutely outstanding. I’m not a gamer but use a desktop for other things like watching streams, listening you music and also for documents etc. My main things are creating for my laser machine and cutter. This PC does all these things but a lot faster then my desktop tower which is only four years old. It’s really opened my eyes as to what can be achieved on a small machine. I’ve added extra storage space which was so easy to do. I have wireless mouse and keyboard and it’s also connected to external sound bar. So happy with this PC all I can do is recommend definitely.

This little computer is great! It does everything you need for home working, is nice and fast for surfing the internet, doing email and all the usual office stuff. It would make a great first PC for doing homework etc. It doesn’t have a great amount of storage, but you could always add an external storage device if you wanted. We’ve got it connected up to our tv, it’s great for streaming programs or films.

I like the small footprint of it – it hardly uses any space on the table and is so quiet – almost silent.

This mini pc was bought to replace an old desktop computer. It’s easy to install. The mini worked well, was more powerful than expected, was easy to upgrade the drive, and I was able to browse online faster than my old computer. It’s also small and can be placed directly behind the monitor, making the desktop look simpler. Very good product.

This windows 11 Pro mini PC is so compact , I was amazed this could basically do what my partner’s PC tower did. We needed a new PC for his office , he’s got a laptop but a larger screen at a desk is better for some things.
I’m not technically minded at all , so all the jargon goes over my head. He’s really happy with the quality and spec of this and it does everything he needs. It also takes up no space, it comes with a wall mount but it’s so small it takes up no room on the desk anyway. Really happy and would recommend

Powered up almost immediately and is a brilliant little mini PC is very practical and takes up Hartley any room at all in my home office. I am really happy with this and I cannot believe the technology in this tiny little machine and it really is a MAGICIAN.

This little mini computer is an absolute gem and I cannot recommend highly enough. Peace of mind to know that if you need to there is a UK rep that can be reached by phone or e-mail for technical back up or support. I have looked at a mini PC before as i always thought of trying one for streaming so when this popped up I had to give it a try, I normally run a plex server from my laptop so I gave this a test to run the plex instead of the laptop, Setting up is really easy with good clear instruction and it is easy to mount on the back of a tv or monitor if you prefer it, It has plenty of ports including USB 3 + 2 ,Hdmi ports, an the LAN for the internet, It has a 512 GB SSD so although that’s not massive when streaming you can always add a second drive so i just added a 1TB SSD in a caddy, For streaming it runs great and so I will leave it this method for Plex from now on, web browsing it is also great but where these fail iss if you want any serious gaming they are a bit slug but you can still play some of the older non intensive games without any worry’s, I used a bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse for control and to be honest not had any problems with it after nearly 1 month of use , overall it is great as a streaming device or web browsing etc and small enough to carry around in a bag etc for travelling , for the price I do think it is a good buy at 269.99 at time of this review

Wow how far have technology come. I didn’t even know these tiny things existed. It is so small and compact and ideal for my small office space. I live on a boat and space is limited. This can just hook on behind my screen and i can forget about it. It starts up fast though on first switch on it will take a while to install all necessary updates. It runs quietly and have quick response time. Have everything i need for basic computing.

This AK1 Pro mini PC comes in nicely presented packaging with instructions, a power supply, a VESA mounting plate and an HDMI lead. It is super compact but still manages to provide 2xHDMI outputs, and ethernet port, 4xUSB ports, a power in port, a 3.5mm microphone port and a Kensington lock slot. On board is an Intel Celeron (N5105) processor, 256GB of storage and 12GB of memory. It uses Intel graphics and is preloaded with Windows 11. I have been a Microsoft Windows user since way back even before Windows XP. I currently use Windows 10 and I cannot say that I am a particular fan of Windows 11 yet but I welcome the opportunity to get to know it better through this device.

The casing of this computer is reasonable quality black plastic. Mine has already attracted the odd scuff and scratch, so some care will be required to keep it in tip top condition. I would not recommend a drop onto a hard surface either. However, for the money the build quality is better than I would have expected and all of the input and output ports are well made and work well. It does warm a little during use but nothing at all to be concerned about. It barely rose above slightly warm even when working hard with multiple applications. I have a i7 desktop with 16GB of memory and obviously this computer is going to seem slower than that. It takes a bit longer to perform tasks like downloading and installing updates but I found the performance was acceptable and within my expectations. It plays music nicely. I used a Bluetooth speaker but it would also be possible to use a USB speaker or rig something up with an adapter or dock. It also works well with video and I was impressed by the quality of the image from Prime Video plugged into my TV. I have also used this computer with a recently acquired projector and with my standard 1080p desktop monitor. This monitor happens to be VESA compatible and one could mount this mini PC on the back of the monitor to create a pseudo ‘All in One’ system. I used a USB dongle to provide keyboard and mouse functions and I was quickly up and running.

Setup is pretty straight forward especially if one already has a Microsoft account. I do not find Windows 11 very intuitive and it did take be a bit of time to work out where things had been moved to. Out of curiosity I delved a bit deeper and sure enough the Device Manager interface is still there. It dates back to Windows XP at least. Still if it ain’t broke, I suppose. I am here to review the PC and so I will park any further comments about the software but just to finish by saying it will require some re-acclimatisation.

I think this is a pretty good little PC. Once it was setup and I had downloaded a few apps and all the updates it runs along quite nicely. It isn’t going to set the world alight and it will take longer to perform most tasks but then for the price I think is has excellent performance. It is fine for browsing. It will happy stream music and 4K video and it runs the Microsoft Office suite perfectly well. File opens and closes take a bit longer but once in a document or spreadsheet the performance is fine. I am not a gamer and therefore I have not explored that aspect of this PCs power. From what I know though I guess it will be fine for low demand games but will not be ideal for those games that need more power. After all there is no dedicated graphics card.

In the context of a small Windows 11 capable PC with plenty of memory and decent storage I think this ACE AK1 Pro is certainly well worth the money. I would even go as far as to say it is a bit of a bargain. It will provide enough power for most day to day computing and would be suitable for school or home working applications. It is easy to set up and has some capacity to be expanded. It takes up hardly any space and would therefore be well suited to people with limited space available. I have been running mine completely trouble free for several days now and wanted to give it a good, long test before I reviewed it. The Windows 11 platform is fairly stable now and it is easy to source and load a wide variety of applications from the store. It may also be linked to a mobile phone to provide calling and potentially wireless internet access. Therefore, this PC could be used when traveling subject to a suitable monitor. It was easy to make it work with my usual printer and I am struggling to find anything where I though – oh that doesn’t work then.

I will be using the PC as a backup up for my main unit and to further explore Windows 11 so that I can decide whether I want to upgrade my main desktop. It may well end up linked to my cloud storage and acting as a music/Roon server but for now I am happy to explore. I am very pleased I ordered it.

If you are in the market for a cheap Windows 11 desktop then this PC is well worth considering and should probably be on your short list. I am happy to give it my recommendation and I think it is a solid buy that will not let you down. If you need more power then there are plenty of other options but be prepared to shell out a fair bit more cash. If not this PC will certainly serve you well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quiet and compact with good performance

I couldn’t belive to see that small computer. Obviously, the monitor is required or tv to connect it to this computer, but still, I’m literally very impressed. This pc has many connections, like big pc, which allow connect additional devices when needed, even additional monitors. This product is good for office use, school work, etc. My daughter is high school girl now and soon she will have to complete some homework on computer. She has laptop but this new computer is a fancy thing and it has big storage space, works fast for office programs.
Pc works quietly, not like full size pc with loud fans cooling down the whole system.
I appreciate having this pc, it’s ideal for traveling (due to its small size and being pretty lightweight) as a storage for documents (when doing business away), when having limited space on desk. It’s not suitable for gaming as processor and RAM is not fast/big enough but yea, its good for basic tasks, writing books, homework, mails, etc.
This pc is well made, looks nice and currently on offer, it’s worth the price.

This is the first mini PC I have owned. It is actually quite amazing how technology has advanced over the years and it is possible to get PC of this size which is capable of performing and carrying out many tasks. Granted it is not going to be much use for someone wanting a gaming PC. Although it may be suitable for a gaming streaming service.

For normal web browsing, streaming TV programmes and films and carrying out word processing, spreadsheets, database and other types of software; this is rather ideal. It is also rather portable too for taking on business trips, holidays, to use it to display information at exhibitions and trade shows etc. where a usable display will be available or taken with. This PC could be used in combination with a projector and projector screen for large screen displays of films etc. It is ideal if space is at a premium or a person just does not want a normal sized PC in their home. With a suitable external HDD it could be a convenient way to be used for a CCTV setup to record footage when used with appropriate CCTV software.

The CPU has a TDP of 10W and so this PC should not use much power in use.

It is convenient to have the easy option of adding a SATA SSD or 2.5″ HDD for extra storage.

It would be better if all the USB ports were USB 3, it packed 16GB RAM, and if the Bluetooth was 5.x.

I am not clued up on the current range of CPUs and computer components. As long as a gaming PC is not required and high system demand software is not needed to be run; this mini PC should be ideal and be suitable for carrying out a large range of computer related tasks. A suitable monitor or TV screen will be required. As will a keyboard and mouse.

Setting it up was straightforward. The on-screen instructions were easy to follow and basically a case of selecting things such as the appropriate language and location. Initially it appeared to create a local password login. Within the settings of Windows 11 Pro I was able to sign into my Microsoft account and synced the information for web browsing bookmarks etc. There were several updates which required installing after starting it up for the first time. One was a big Windows update, which took some time to download & install and required a reboot. Other updates also required a system reboot to finish their installation.

This mini PC is rather quiet when in use and its footprint is impressive.

At the time of this review the price is showing as 242.99 and there is also a 50 voucher available taking the price down to only 192.99. I believe when I ordered this item its price was 299.99 and so 192.99 seems like a bargain.

I really loved this concept of a mini-PC. This PC is very compact in size and comes with all necessary ports to connect an external keyboard, mouse and up to 3 monitors. There is also a LAN port in case you want to connect to the internet via an Ethernet cable.

It also comes with 8GB RAM and 512 GB SSD which is fairly standard these days which means higher processing speed and good data storage capacity. At the same time, you can even expand hard-disk by adding an external drive up to 2TB (really great feature if you like to add more photos, videos, movies or for gaming purposes)

Windows 11 operating system also comes pre-installed and it took me around a couple of hours to setup and do the necessary windows updates.

It’s a great mini-PC for travelling or if you are limited on space. This will really come in handy on my next trip outside the UK as I will no longer have to carry heavy laptop and charger just this compact device and the power cable.

Only flipside is a short power lead, which means you will either need to be near a socket or connect it to a power extension lead which to me personally is not such a big issue.

This is an impressive mini over which is suited to office type tasks. I’m using it as a second pc linked up to my tv – I wanted to work in the living room as I can use my fire to heat the room, rather than relying on central heating to heat the office upstairs.

It arrived with large storage of 512GB – I like the fact that this expandable if needed.

It was easy to set up, connecting to my work office account and presenting the preinstalled Windows 11 format. I’ve synced my important work folders from the cloud to the pc and have experienced no problems with slow connection or lost documents.

It’s an impressive mini pc which serves its purpose well.
