Like the fact that it’s versatile ie it can extend from compact to fit a wide sink. Everything goes on there, cloths & pan scrubbers etc it’s well made too, oh and the colours perfect for my new kitche

Our daughter was the first to buy one and when we saw how useful they were we had to get one and so glad we did. It has taken permanent residence in the kitchen sink. Well made and fits many sizes. Use it mainly for our breakfast fruits.

This extendable sink basket is useful for washing vegetables all in one go. It can be adjusted to the required size quickly and left in. It is a big size to store food and leave it to drain the water out as expected. It is easy to clean out and durable to last. It is a little steep in price but is a handy product to have!

Never again will I go back to a round colander. This fits nicely across my sink and into my side sink perfectly. It makes draining food a lot easier! Very glad to have this and would happily have paid for it!

Concept behind this product is great, not very sturdy so don’t see this strainer last long. One thing which I noticed is missing while using that there is no locking system. After expanding to the size you need it doesn’t stay in that size so there should be a locking system which you can use.

This is a handy item to have – it expands lengthwise to fit in pretty much any sink, and is made from a decent quality plastic that is quite thick and sturdy,
I have tried it in my ‘half sink’ and it fills the whole thing nicely, and in the proper sink it takes up about half of it, expanding to fit.

The holes are not too big that they’d let peas through, but don’t expect to use it for fine straining. It’s handy to pop over the sink and just pour into, without trying to juggle a sieve or colander in one hand (and drop it when it suddenly gets heavy!).

It hasn’t warped or melted when boiling water was poured through it, and it survived the dishwasher test, so I’m confident it will last a good long time. Very useful little item.

This sink colander looks very practical. It is made of PP material,Bpa free, non toxic, durable, strong and can be used for many things such as washing fruit, pasta, washing vegetables etc.I like the fact that it can be extended and it fits perfectly in my sink.It is a necessary accessory in the kitchen but I think the price is a little overpriced.

This extendable over the sink grey plastic colander also comes in Black, Blue, Dark blue, Dark black, green, grey pink, pink, white and yellow. It measures at 14.5 inches and extends to about 19.5 inches.
I tried using firstly washing fruit, veg this was great because you can leave the items to air dry in the colander, I also used it when draining cooked veg, pasta, the only thing I would say is you can’t really put rice or anything small in there as they will work their way through the holds. Also I found that the starchy foods like potato’s tended to clog the holes up a bit. I also found it useful as extra draining space when washing up to put cutlery or smaller items to drain again that worked well too. The versatility on this product is something I really like about it, and therefor I found this very useful in the kitchen.
At this moment in time the extendable colander is 16.99 which looking at other similar products on the market I would say its mid price range.
I liked the fact that this extends because it work both width ways and length ways.

This over the sink colander is brilliant and has helped me so much in preparing my vegetables and fruit. This colander would fit any size sink as you can extend to fit. The colander has been made really well with excellent quality materials and I really do like this so I do highly recommend

You’d think these would have been around for ages now, such a simple idea being able to extend it over the sink but it works so well.

Thick grey plastic here that feels strong and smooth. The sliding mechanic is smooth as well, no issues going back and forth. Can also be extended quite a fair bit, I’m sure this would fit any sink. You’d have to be trying to put this in a bath for it not to.

A interesting twist of the standard colander and I’m very happy with it so far. 5*!

The idea itself is great and works. The materials feel cheap or like something you’d use in the garden but it works.
The slide function is a little loose when short but it’s easy to stretch out and isn’t that loose when it’s in the middle. I would assume this is so you can take it apart and clean it properly as they pop out easy enough and they stay in well enough. So I can’t see any problems with it. But this is where I’d expect issues to crop up before anywhere else. That’s if they do though, I’m just speculating trying to give as much of a review as possible on it since it’s such a simple and great idea. I’m pretty gentle with things though.

The green is more of a bluey green though, a little bit past a greeny teal colour.

At 15.99 (16.99 for others? not sure what the standard price is supposed to be) it’s reasonable enough for a product that will probably last you a good number of years.
