When there's sun, it's great!
Great fountain for the price. Produces a spurt of about a foot and works constantly in direct sunlight. Assembly in simple and minimal with a choice of several roses – each one giving different amount of water ‘jets’. This was a gift as a replacement for a malfunctioned mains fountain and it has managed to give a new life to the pond. Very pleased!
Surprised
Fountain works in sunlight, when a cloud comes over it stops but take note the fountain is still charging, then when it’s dark the fountain and lights come on and looks quite pretty.
There is a selection of different fountain spurts come with it too.

I bought a fountain to put in the yard. To be beautiful. Our cat drinks from the fountain and plays. Very good quality arrived. There are several bouquets. I recommend such a fountain for the yard, it is very beautiful.
Decent fountain for affordable price
Had few solar powered fountains before,they were ok. But this one is the best I had,especially for the money you pay! Powerful,6.5 W motor,many different changable tops for different water flow. Also looks well made too. Now I can enjoy those summer afternoons left in my garden. Also my cat uses it for water drinking! Comes with remote too,that actually works. Have not tried the colors yet,will try evening time. Would recomend to a friend.
Packs a punch!
What a great fountain! I’ve just moved house and have a garden which I thought would be lovely to make a water feature and listen to the sound of running water.
Please forgive the “bucket” used I plan on getting a large plant pot with stone etc but couldn’t wait to try this out. It has lots of attachments for different water flows. Love it so far. Not sure if I’ll use the light up feature yet but there if I want too.
Runs silent other than the sound of the water. Can’t wait to set it up fully!
Works just as it should
Great priced product, that works as well as it should, this is the third one I’ve bought, I had one for myself and have bought another two as gifts, that should tell you everything you need to know. It takes a while to fully charge up, but works fine as soon as the sun hits it, the charging to 70percent, that is needed to work without sunlight takes a while, but once charged it tops up easy and works great in cloudy conditions.

This product makes my day, as long as it’s sunny. I like that the fountain stays fixed and the colours can be changed from the remote control. The quality seems good and the price ok.
Works only in the sunligh
Small wildlife pond needed aerating at one end. As it stated, does not work if no sun or, at night.
Several different heads for spray and works well. Have other electric oxygenator for all year use.
Easy to use garden decoratio
Even it is made with small pump 1.4 W,but does the job,water pumps fine. So easy to use,just turn the midlle ball to adjust to your required mode. And just put in the watter. Solar batterry looks well made. Now I can enjoy my morning coffee with this new garden decoration. Would recomend to my friend.
Good fountai
Not great for a birdbath as the fountain empties the bath quickly due to the wide spray. Perfect for a homemade rock pool that’s wide enough to ensure all the water goes back into the pool. Overall it’s a great little solar fountain at a good price. Getting more for family.
I’ve only just got this so can’t comment on if it’s going to last until the weekend or the next 20 years – hopefully somewhere I between. However, I am pleased with it. We have a birdbath by our sunny patio and I thought it would be nice to add a bit of interest. It arrived the day after I ordered it, I took it out of the box, used my common sense to stick a few bits together and dropped it into the birdbath. Hey presto! Instant fountain. Very pleased. The main jet went up about 40cm, which is fine for the size of the birdbath, and I’ll play around with the other nozzles to see which I like the best. It’s self contained, simple to use and extremely good value for less than 20. If it dies this summer I’ll update the post to say so but if this review goes unchanged then it’s doing its job.
Review update. It’s still working fine but I’m going to adjust this review in light of experience. I first used the solar fountain in a birdbath but found that after a few days it stopped because the water had evaporated. If it is very warm and windy the fountain of water evaporates quite quickly so I gave up on that and just lobbed it into my garden pond where it has quite happily been fountaining away even in low sun. I have taken out to clean the algae off it twice but apart from that it’s good. If you have a largish container of water such as a large tub or barrel it will be fine.
Great little fountain, worth the money.
This solar pump is great for small ponds. It works well in both full sun and shade though the fountain is less powerful in the shadows obviously. My only slight quibble is the pump and nozzle get clogged up and need to be cleaned out at least once a week. Would suggest 2 for a medium size pond.
I was pleasantly surprised by this, I didn’t expect it to be too good, but as you can see from the video the sun wasn’t out, it had clouded over and it was still going.
Simple to set up (instructions included) as soon as I opened the box and the light hit it I could feel the pump working. Going to buy a second for a parent.

It actually works.
The wife bought this…I scoffed said it wouldn’t work but it did…pretty well too. Even on an overcast day it kinda sputters along. On the other hand I may still be proven right if I’m patient but it’s still going a few weeks later so who knows.
Magical
Product looks great in the garden. It’s really easy to use and I’m surprised at how quickly it worked. I put it in a bird bath and it started working with only about an hour of sun. The delivery was fast as well. 10/10 very happy.

This solar powered fountain works beautifully in direct sunlight. Overcast days are more of a challenge but I’m delighted with the purchase.
I used string and a weight it keep it from moving around the pond and like previous reviews have said this prevents the water being sprayed over the edge of the pond
Overall this is good value for what you get. Several attachments supplied for differing spray patterns. The strength of flow depends very much on how bright the light is, so when it’s good and sunny the jet can go as high as 50-60cm or more. On a dull day, all you’ll get is rather disappointing, but quite amusing, fitful pulses. It needs some regular cleaning of the fountain jets and pump inlet filter, which can get clogged with weed or algae.
Beware the potential for this thing to drain your pond, if the unit drifts to the edge and the fountain jets land out of the pond area. To prevent this, I bodged a tether using a cord tied around the pump outlet and attached to a weight in the centre of the pond – thus limiting the extent of drift.

It worked straight out of the box and has plenty of attachments.
It is quite powerful when there is strong sunlight and for what I needed I probably could have done with something slightly less powerful, but that is no reflection on the product which is excellent.
I have weighted it down with some wire attached so it doesn’t move around so much because I’m using it in a garden container and I want it to stay central.

You can custom alter spray
Not bad nice power but nothing suited my very small pond, as when panel floated near edge you lose water over the edge, So I tethered it using fish line to centre of pond giving it enough to move but not near the edge, then drilled out one of the caps to suit my needs ie not to high spray, It work great for me now. shop around cheaper elsewhere though
