Absolutely LOVE this bottle opener have a couple and they have been going for years. The easiest way to open a wine bottle – people pick them up and cannot believe the bottle is open!!! They work seamlessly and never brake down!!! Brilliant product and I can always find it because it is eye catching!
This is the best corkscrew I have ever had – easy to use and almost effortless, great Italian design and my corkscrews do get a lot of hard work and it feels sturdy enough for that. Love i
I have the Anna G Alessi corkscrew which has given many years of service, one of her arms doesn’t lift any more when operating the corkscrew so I ordered the Alessandro M. I particularly liked the bright red upper body. The one I have received is a matt red which is a dark pink & quite dull so not quite what I wanted, it does the job but 4 stars instead of 5.
Just turn the mans head and the cork comes out with no need to pull.
Quality of product is good and the metal head part is quite thick and solid.
I’m a big fan of Alessi’s corkscrews. I was offered one as a wedding gift and it works perfectly! I saw a review stating that it only works in original corks and not plastic ones, but in Portugal plastic corks are rare (fortunately!), so that problem doesn’t really exist for me. I bought several, I think they are a great present.
