Highly recommend - brilliant bottle opene
Absolutely LOVE this bottle opener have a couple and they have been going for years. The easiest way to open a wine bottle – people pick them up and cannot believe the bottle is open!!! They work seamlessly and never brake down!!! Brilliant product and I can always find it because it is eye catching!

I have the Anna G Alessi corkscrew which has given many years of service, one of her arms doesn’t lift any more when operating the corkscrew so I ordered the Alessandro M. I particularly liked the bright red upper body. The one I have received is a matt red which is a dark pink & quite dull so not quite what I wanted, it does the job but 4 stars instead of 5.
It’s hard to resist the whimsical designs of the Alessi product line. They’re always charming and well constructed. This caught my eye because of the color as well as the design. What’s most important is that it works really well as a corkscrew. The coating on the threads assures that a smooth removal. This is an item that delivers in terms of both design and function.

I’m a big fan of Alessi’s corkscrews. I was offered one as a wedding gift and it works perfectly! I saw a review stating that it only works in original corks and not plastic ones, but in Portugal plastic corks are rare (fortunately!), so that problem doesn’t really exist for me. I bought several, I think they are a great present.
I love my Alessi corkscrew, and wonder what on earth other reviews have been doing with theirs to break it or not be able to get corks off.
No problems whatsoever, and it makes me smile every time I twist his head round.
My only regret is that so many bottles have screw tops nowadays, he isn’t getting out as much as he should!

..funktioniert dieser ffner. Aufsetzen, oben am Kopf drehen, fertig. Anschl. anders rum drehen, schon fllt der Korken aus dem ffner. Kraftaufwand ist nicht gro, daher auch fr Frauen leicht zu bedienen. Dazu sieht er noch ganz witzig aus.
Hatte den ffner mal bei einem Bekannten gesehen und wollte genau diesen haben.
Und natrlich bei Amazon gnstig gefunden ;o)

Bought this for a present after someone bought me one; it is the best corkscrew I have ever used. Easily removes the cork from a bottle; it is easy to remove the cork from the corkscrew as well. Looks good on the kitchen worktop!!!!
