I’m no audiophile, but these little speakers are well worth the price. I used them for YouTube videos mainly and they provide clear and crisp sound.

Only downside is that blue power light, it really does light up a room!

Bought these for a monitor that didn’t have speakers, didn’t want to pay much so I got these. No issues with setup just plug in and had to change audio source on pc that’s it. Fairly loud but no fancy stuff. Small and compact, only downside is the really bright blue led on the front but I just put a tiny bit of masking tape over it and coloured it black and it’s gone. A sticker over the other to cover brand logo also.
Overall good for the price, worth it.

Good value for money with surprisingly good sound performance for the price. A lot of cheap speakers can sound really muddy but I was pleasantly surprised by these. Useful to have a physical volume control too.

Easy set up. Remember to check if you have a spare USB port before you buy ! I had just one. Has the quality of my very SONY speakers. I cannot fault them for the price.

These are not HIFI speakers, but they are great value for money speakers that produce a decent sound for not very much money. So if you’re looking for HIFI quality – look elsewhere, but if you’re looking for a decent sound at a budget price, these could be the ones you’re looking for.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought two to achieve a seriously cheap 5.1 surround sound system for gaming. I had a decent centre speaker and subwoofer already so this completed the layout. The audio is very tinny, almost no bass. The wires are short and at full volume you get some analogue distortion. The power cables are adjacent to the audio cables which potentially creates unneeded electronic interference but has not been audible in my case. The power indication light is incredibly bright (I just stuck a piece of black gorilla tape over it and it was fine) and the volume knob lacks any indication of what setting it is at, so I used a knife to cut an indent. I haven’t tried the audio-out ports (for headphones) but I imagine they’re adequate. The design is simple and subtle, the audio lacks noticeable interference or phasing (which is good).

tl,dr: Amazon has their priorities right for a “Basic” product, the audio and cosmetic design are the outstanding features, the packaging was superb, and everything else is incredibly cheap and low-quality. Very good product for a low-budget scenario that doesn’t require audio reproductive accuracy.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThese speakers are fine for someone who needs to hear what’s going on but isn’t looking for anything too special. They’re probably not loud enough to fill a room but if you’re sat in front of a computer, they’ll be all you need. As others have mentioned, the blue LED on the front of one of them is incredibly bright – it’s like a laser! Be careful not to point it up to the sky as I think it’s powerful enough to bring a satellite down! We’ve put a little ornament in front of ours because, seriously, it is so bright it is a definite distraction if it’s in your line of vision.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI wanted some speakers to attach to my portable cd player so I could listen to my music out loud. I’ve always thought the amazon echoes are well made and have great sound. This is why I opted to purchase these. Indeed these are well made too and they are quite loud. Sound quality is very good although the bass could be better. Overall I’m happy with these.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersOk budget speakers for someone like me who just wants a basic set up, or for someone looking for something temporary.

Drawback – the blue LED power light is VERY bright and distracting to have on a desk. I’ve had to put tape over it as it’s too brigh

4.0 out of 5 stars Ok budget speakers

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersValue for money speakers with good enough sound for movies, games or TV. No dedicated sub woofers for base but still feel a little rumble from them. Directional sounds are not the most distinct and is hard to pinpoint directions in games with a lot going on from different locations. The absolute worst thing about there is that the blue power light is bright enough to give you lazer surgery, I had to put a sticker over it before permanent eye damage lol. All in all good buy, it’s what I needed.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI’ve been using a low budget set of speakers for several years and thought the lack of clarity was due to my age. Following a recent accident with a pair of scissors and an electric cable, I consigned my speakers to the recycle bin.

What a difference! Obviously, I’m younger than I thought and can now hear both low and mid-frequency conversations and even music. (My ears are well past high frequency reception, but my youngest grandson tells me that the speakers sound o.k.)

Don’t rush out and buy these speakers – take your time and don’t take the word of an audio geriatric like me. If you have lots of money then spend as you see fit, but if expensive is not your favourite word then this little pair of speakers could suit you nicely.

Using them with a desktop computer for general use and games : sound quality seems good (though I haven’t whacked them up very loud ) . The only problem I have is that they are physically very top heavy – using in a small space at the moment and they keep falling over and off the table – solved it by lying them down and tucking under the monitor but still a pain. Would be better if they had an on off switch independent of the volume knob – have been caught out thinking I had no audio with zoom calls because they aren’t up high enough after turning them back on (my fault entirely but easy when you ‘re in a hurry) .

If you’re only after a small cheap speaker, then these will do the job. Considering the size and price, they’re good. You’ll not get any base sound from them of course, but they are clear and sound fine. If you want to play quality music through them, look elsewhere. As a PC general purpose speaker, for system sounds, the occasional YouTube video playback etc, perfect, much better than built-in speakers in a monitor for instance. There is no external PSU brick, the mains cord goes directly to the RIGHT speaker. There’s nothing written on either speaker to state which is left or right though, I had to test to find out. One thing to note, the speaker did pick up the bud-a-bud-a-bud-a-bud noise from my mobile phone if left close to it.
