Used on car tyres. Easy to use and seems accurate. Easy to put on valve and snap lever to lock. Lot better than having to go to local garage every time. Handy to have in car incase it’s needed too.

Being able to set the correct pressure before inflating is a plus for me as I can just leave it until it stops at the correct pressure. Also there are additional adapters included that I can be use to inflate other devices such an inflatable awning or camp bed.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI had a problem with this item. AstroAI replaced it with no quibble even though it was out of the return period and were so helpful at addressing the issue. I have never experienced such quality customer service from a product provider.

I’m a dainty woman who is always in a rush, this little gadget rides with me so I will never be caught short. Its very easy to use, comes with an attachment and built in torch. Its very lightweight and does the job quick. Buy it – its saves me so many trips to the petti station and is so compact I barely notice it in my boot.

Does exactly what it said in the description before purchase. So easy to set up. Tyres inflated to the correct pressure in minutes. The pump does run a bit noisy, but not enough to disturb neighbours. It is lightweight without any fussy complication instruction. Word of caution…..Make sure your engine is running before operating the pump. Immediate drain on 12v battery without engine running could cause fuses to blow.

Cannot fault it in any way. Simple to use and reasonably priced. How accurate a little unsure. Tried the next door neighbours and it read the same but not exactly scientific….maybe one day I’ll fork out another 50p and check it with my garage. Recommend.

I bought this when my tyre started deflating and I didn’t knew why. I keep in the trunk just in case I ever need it. It has multiple valve adaptors and I was able to inflate both my car tyres and my bicycle tyres. It’s very to use.
Just plug in the cigar slot, connect it to the tyre you wish to inflate, set the desired psi or bar, and turn it on. Once the tyre has inflated to the desired psi it automatically stops, so you don’t have to worry about your tyre being overinflated. It also comes with a flashlight in case you need to inflate your tyre during the night.
It’s so usefull and good I even bought one for my mother’s car. You never know when you might need it.

At a very reasonable price, this portable pump is best bargain. I used it. It is very easy to use, it is accurate, portable, light weight. You will never go wrong. Besides you will save money at commercial pumps.

Just got this and it works a treat. Does in a couple of minutes what would have taken me at least quatter of an hour and a lot of effort with my old foot pump.

Overall, it looks of decent quality, works well, just quite noisy. I like that the display is on top, so it is easier to see than for units where it is on the side.

The values on the digital reader I received were not correct. I set the pressure to the recommended setting for bicycle tyres (40 psi) but it exploded the tyre. It seems to treat 40psi as 400psi. So, instead of setting pressure to 40psi, I had to set it to 4.0 psi. So be careful.

Update: AstroAI UK apologised for the error on the digital screen. They sent me a replacement air compressor without charge. That one works perfectly.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThe AstroAI pump / inflator is a decent bit of kit to have around if you need to inflate tyres, balls or really anything that is compatible with the included attachments. It’s extremely easy to use by just plugging in the 12V plug, connecting the end to whatever you want inflating with the appropriate connector, setting the pressure you’d like and then flipping the switch on. It’s very easy to use, and the display is nice and clear showing what pressure unit you’re using and what it’s configured too before starting inflation.

The device will automatically shut off when the desired pressure is achieved allowing you to leave the device to inflate while you’re doing something else. The inflator is quite loud, so you’ll be able to hear when it’s done very easily. This isn’t a huge issue, however would be nice if it could have been a bit quieter.

My main issue with this particular device is it’s accuracy, and the reason I’m rating it 4 stars instead of 5. I noticed while inflating my tyres, I set the PSI pressure to 38 originally while I was figuring out how the device worked. After I did, while it was inflating the tyre, I checked the pressure recommended for my tyre, which said 39. So after the tyre finished inflating to 38 PSI, I bumped the number up to 39 PSI on the device, flipped the switch and nothing. Nothing happened, I looked at the display, and previously where it told me I was at 38 PSI in my tyre, now magically said 39 PSI but having done nothing. So I gave it a second, switched it off and back on. I then set the pressure to 40 PSI, and the exact same thing happened again, reading that my tyre was inflated to 40 PSI, even though moments earlier it was just inflated to 38 PSI.

It’s clear it’s not the most accurate device, however for the price, you can’t really expect it to be I’m sure. So for the price I paid at 27 it’s a good device to have on hand and would recommend it if you need a cheap but half decent pump to inflate things. As long as ultimate accuracy isn’t what you’re looking for.

It’s nice and compact as well, so will just live in the boot of my car should I ever need it in an emergency or to help anyone else out on my journeys.

Only got this yesterday and used it straight away. It’s very easy to use, light and has its own built-in carry handle.
You set the pressure you need, there is a plus and minus button to aid you. Once the valve is connected, switch on and it pumps up to the pressure you want and then automatically stops.
It’s really good. The number is quite clear to read. It works quickly and effectively. We charged all 4 tyres in a flash.
The pump is a little noisy but not bad. It comes with various attachments for other items.
The handle is fixed in position.I thought it would rotate more upwards .It is fine as it is. Also, there is a torch at the front should you need it.The charger as a long cable so it can go to all the tyres well.

Like size, lightness and speed with which it works.
    It is priced reasonably.
Did not like: there is no deflate button if you inadvertently fill tyre using the wrong unit of pressures – which was easily done. I had to manually deflate the tyre.
Once ordered the date for delivery was moved on by 3 days.
Overall I’m happy with this purchase.
Please note: I don’t know how accurate the pressure is, but couldn’t submit this review without putting something in that section.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersAfter much agonising and research I decided to purchase this little beauty.
In itself the unit feels solid and well built. What I liked most of all was the ease of attachment to a vehicle tyre valve: by using the chuck on the pressure hose the attachment clip could be rotated for alignment onto the valve. This is superior to other inflators I have used where the pressure hose is like wrestling with a Boa thus losing pressure when attaching and removing the valve connector.
The inflator performed well bringing my tyres up from 1.8 bar to 2.2 bar within a couple of minutes and without any difficulty. The preset pressure was spot on when checked against my manual pressure gauge. Storage of pressure hose and power lead is by simply wrapping around the unit and there is a little clip on the pressure hose to hold it together.
What’s not to like? The only misgiving is that being manufactured in China and based on past experience with some purchases little can be said on longevity. Hence only four stars.
