Bought 2 when on offer, and luckily the writing decals peels off pretty easily for a much cleaner look 🙂
Passed the noise test, and have been given the green light for being installed in the bedroom.

4.0 out of 5 stars Looks great and very quiet!

So far, it seems to be doing the job and working fine. I bought a more expensive watch winder a few months ago and it didn’t wind my watch at all. However, my watch keeps time beautifully when I use this. Motor is a little noisy but nothing major. So far, so good

Case made up mainly from MDF covered with grain effect vinyl & thin textured ABS sheet. Not genuine walnut as stated. However the case looks & feels great. The winder is very quiet indeed. 2 mode settings pretty much guarantee the winding of any automatic watch including kinetic type, of which I have tried both. Very good value for money if the motor last (the motors in this type of product have a habit of failure) say over 2 years of moderate use.
**Update, stopped working after 2 days. Turns out the cable is at fault, replaced it with a 5v power supply from an unused router & it’s running perfectly again.

This product is amazing it’s extremely quiet keeps time perfectly could not be happier only slight problem is when I first received the product it didn’t work for the first few minutes but eventually got it working by trying out a few different plugs and sockets but once it worked for the first time it worked on every plug and socket and the writing on top doesn’t bother me as much as I thought it would although it still is annoying and shouldn’t be there as it makes the winder look cheape

This works really well to keep your watch charged as it has a timer mode than turns on for a few hours everyday. It’s fairly quiet, although I wouldn’t put it next to your bed as the sound will keep you awake.

The only downside I’ve found is that the cushion might not be a suitable size for your watch. I can’t fasten my watch onto the cushion snugly enough, so it ends up moving about which creates more noise than the motor! I ended up placing loads of tissue between the watch and cushion to keep it stable.

Overall, I think this is a great automatic watch winder and would recommend it.

I’ve bought cheap watch winders before and they used to break quite quickly – this one however is punching way above it’s price tag and it’s been running trouble-free for the past two months!

I own several watches, Omega, Rolex, Tag Heuer, Certina, Tudors – you name it – and if you want to rotate the watches you wear a watch winder is an absolute must-have. It not only takes away the need to manually wind watch when you’re not wearing it, but also keeps the movement healthy by keeping it running.

The winder has a nice wooden effect to it (it’s not real wood though) and it looks the part. It’s relatively quiet and has two operating modes. I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and not a single problem with it. Very good product.

I’m actually quite fond of this little watch winder, it looks great and matches the styling of my home. The build quality is reasonable for the price point, it’s USB powered so convenient for any user, the winder has two patterns available depending on the type of winding you require, the cushion is the best type I’ve come across (beats leather ones hands down) it’s very squishy and much better than anything I’ve encountered.

Overall it’s a great watch winder and punches well above its price point but beyond all of the good parts there are a couple of negatives. The first is the print on the top of the winder, I just don’t get why this was placed in this location, it pretty much takes the winder from “classy looking” to “tacky and cheap”, the second is the cushion which I guess is strange as I’ve gave it so much praise above, but unfortunately it’s too large for my bracelet watches to fit it (slim wrist gang), third and final negative is the sound of the motor, it’s not loud by any means (barely reaching 50dB) but as someone that’s a light sleeper it’s just loud enough that it would bother me if in the bedroom when trying to sleep (good job I wind my watches in the office).

4.0 out of 5 stars Reliable watch winder.

Lovely presentation box for your watch that showcases it from every angle.

There are 3 modes to keep it moving (or not) in the box. Still and moving with different speeds.

The watch is easy to attach to the little cushion in the middle and your watch is protected from any scratches.

    Very quiet motor movement.

This product serves its purpose very well as an automatic watch winder. It’s very stylish and made of good quality materials, it does not look out of line with my other winders and is just as quiet as much more expensive products, which is important as you will have these on for multiple hours of the day.

I am not over-the-moon with the text on top, which seems very out of place and a bit garish. Otherwise the styling of this product is perfect and suits my theme well.

I’d happily recommend this product if you are looking for a watch winder.

For the money not bad although had to open up back and re lubricate the drive cogs due to squeaking after a few minutes and has been ok and very quiet since, not expensive but does the job fine

This is a really nice watch winder – feels solid and has a good weight to it

There are 2 modes of operation that fit well depending on either the Power Reserve of the watch or the wear pattern of the user – I find mode 2 works well for my watch and wear pattern.

The motor is as stated… extremely quiet.. I cannot hear it at all

There are two minor points I find:
1/ The printed writing and certification marks that are or the top of the winder, in my personal opinion make the the wider look cheap
2/ The USB power cable – unfortunately this is a USB-A at one end and a jack plug connector at the other – why wasn’t this just made a standard USB-A to USB-C cable. If you misplace this jack plug cable, then you’ll need to try and hunt for a replacement… whereas the majority of people will easily have USB-C power cables lying about.

Overall at 26.99 (at the time of review – October 2022), I would say that is pretty good value.
For me it would have a 5* if it had a more standard USB-C interface power input and there was no cheap writing/stickers on the top of the winder.

This review is for the Automatic Watch Winder Box Single: Self Winding Watches Shaker Spinner Wooden Watch Turner Rotator Display Case with Quiet Motor.

A nice well made watch wonder. Is powered via a usb cable and has 2 settings. It does not wind the watch consistently but stops and starts periodically. Holds the Watch nice and securely. Would recommend.

    Automatic watch winder.
I was given a lovely man’s watch which is automatic (no winder).
Everything was going well till one day when due to garden work
I didn’t wear it for most of one day and night. I found the next morning
it had stopped and I had to reset the time before I put it on.
I found this on the net as the solution. It is a watch winder by rotating
in one direction and then reverse, It also has a pause programmed
into it as well. Basically, It is a rotating watch holder which you insert the
watch and just leave. It keeps it fully wound up.
After using it for a while now I can say that it does what it says it will.
It is a square box with rotating face which has a sponge that you
put the watch round. Then insert and just leave to keep it wound.
Nicely made with a wood effect. A power line comes with it which
requires to be plugged into a USB socket. on the back there is
an on and off switch and a selection of which rotating prog
you want. What do I think of it? For me it works. It is very silent.
If you need it then this is the answer.

I turned the winder button of my (stopped) automatic watch just one revolution to get the watch ticking. Then I placed it on this auto winder.

Since then it has kept perfect time so it must be working!

It’s currently on Setting 2 (forwards 5 mins, reverse 5 mins for three hours, then off for 9 hours. Rinse, repeat). Given that this is a 12 hour cycle you should be able to ensure that the 9-hour “off” period coincides with your sleep time if you keep this in your bedroom.

The instructions say that if Setting 2 doesn’t work for your watch (doesn’t keep it wound, I’m assuming) you can try Setting 1 (forward 6 mins, pause 6 mins, reverse 6 mins… repeat forever). I didn’t need this intensive winding regime so I kept it on Setting 2.

It’s quiet when winding, but might be heard in a quiet bedroom at 2am. Hence my suggestion that the 9-hour non-winding period in Setting 2 is selected to coincide with your time in the bedroom. As mine is in my study, it’s not an issue although I can hear it occasionally, a bit like a small cooling fan noise. Not intrusive, not a problem.

It uses any 3-9 volt USB-phone charger plug-in thingy; it’s not supplied, although the cable is.

It looks quite stylish and I see that a red fronted version is now also available, as well as the price going down from what it was when I got mine.

Sounds like a win-win to me.

Was very frustrated with my automatic watch constantly losing time, my lifestyle obviously isn’t active enough to keep the thing fully charged so I would end up not wearing it. This little gizmo is just the ticket, simply pop out the foam padding in the middle of the dial, strap your watch around it and flick the switch on the back. The inner circle then rotates continuously clockwise and then counter-clockwise, providing the perfect charging environment for the automatic movement in the back of your watch. It’s pretty quiet, maybe not bedside cabinet quiet, but not very noticeable when running.

The winder box itself has the potential to be very presentable, I like the faux-wood casing, the grey winder movement and the textured back – quite why they decided to stick a huge “Keep your watch running” text sticker right on the top of the box I have no idea. It makes the entire thing look a bit cheap and naff, luckily the text is easily scraped off – but a weird decision nonetheless.

It works perfectly and I’m finally getting regular use out of my favourite watch!

4.0 out of 5 stars Works really well

The packaging does not do this justice I am Super impressed with the look of quality and the usability of this super watch movement machine.
I bought this as I have an expensive watch which is an automatic watch and I don’t like wearing when I’m working as I’m afraid of getting it damaged but I don’t want to lose its charge etc and I found this is a fantastic way to keep it going really like that it simply uses a USB lead which you can use with a power bank or plug brilliant.
Comes with two speeds I only use the one it had a simple little switch on the back next to the adapter plug very easy to use there is a little whirring noise but it’s nothing too loud .
I Found it really easy to put my watch into the holder you simply insert the soft rubber sponge into your watch strap and puff the sponge into the machine simple phone nothing touches your watch at all brilliant.
Very happy with the price point 25 for a style and very Functionable watch movement machine highly recommend
