The Ayybboo Kids Watch is a practical and reliable timepiece designed with the needs of children in mind. With its 50M waterproof rating and easy-to-read analogue display, it’s the perfect accessory for kids aged 7-18, especially in environments like school where smartwatches may not be allowed.

One of the standout features of this watch is its simplicity and readability. The large numbers on the dial make it easy for kids to tell the time at a glance, while the glow-in-the-dark feature ensures visibility even in low-light conditions. This makes it not only functional but also fun for kids who enjoy the novelty of a watch that lights up.

While the quality of the watch is reflective of its affordable price, it still meets expectations with its durability and reliability. It may not have all the bells and whistles of a high-end timepiece, but it gets the job done without breaking the bank.

Overall, the Ayybboo Kids Watch is a practical and affordable option for parents looking for a reliable timepiece for their children. Its simplicity, readability, and durability make it an excellent choice for everyday wear, whether at school or during playtime.

It is quite good for price. perfect for kids to take to school or for their sportive activities.
It has an “adult” watch look. actually the only thing that i would say is not able for adults is that the bracelet is quite small, just for tinier arms… wouldn’t say it can actually fit every 16 +. mine is 11 year old (yes, she is very tall, but she is slim) and she has 1 more hole to grow. So it is quite at the limit. but great for kids. it is waterproof and has light for when it is dark.

4.0 out of 5 stars good for kids to take to sports and school

I received this product through the Amazon Vine programme and this review is based on my own opinions.

I got this a 7 year old nephew to try and he really likes this watch. It is nicely made from a black resin and seems up to all the bumps and shocks boys will give this when out playing. The display is clear and it seems to keep good time. The only underwhelming part is the backlight which as a faint green. It helps at night but is nothing like what is pictured or described.

The watch comes with a storage tin and instructions and is easy to use. I think the price at !5.99 is ok providing it proves to be durable but the main thing is that the kid loves i

This watch comes smartly packaged in a metal tin, but with minimal instructions. That said, there isn’t too much to learn about the watch, once you’ve worked out how to take the safety plug off the winder to get it going. What it doesn’t say is that there is a push button just above the winder which you need to press to illuminate the face.
The strap is a very comfy rubber one with holes along its whole length so it can fit a wide variety of wrist sizes. Easily up to adult size. It is a pretty chunky watch, which might be a bit unwieldy on a smaller young person – the face, to me, looked very adult-sized. (4cm diameter & 1.3cm thick)
With black hands on a black face it is not always easy to read. It photographs well, but the reality is that the dial is sunken into the surround so it doesn’t allow much light onto the face and although the hands have a luminous line on them, that does not glow in daylight. Also the second hand is completely black – it took me a long while to realise there even was one!
I was frankly rather disappointed with the light up face – it is nothing like the picture in the listing. My first two pics show the dial unlit and lit – and you can see, there is not a lot of difference. Admittedly that would be sufficient light to read it at night.
So all in all – this watch looks good, but doesn’t quite deliver on its promises. It does seem to keep perfect time – which is its main use, but I’ve taken stars off for really not being easy to read – especially as they are marketing it as a learning tool. But for confident time-tellers, it would probably be a good gift.

4.0 out of 5 stars Smart - but not always easy to read

This will be a gift for a child so I can’t vouch for durability. However I’ve checked it over and seems like a very nice watch, particularly the illuminated dial. It comes in a nice looking presentation ‘tin’. I’m certain it will be well received.

Bought as a gift for a 10yo who sometimes struggles to tell the time using analogue (always digital for them!) Greatly received, fitted well with the added bonus of a backlight. Hopefully, comes into good use with time

Bought for my 10 year old son and he loves it. Looks cool enough for him to wear it everyday and is clear enough so he can glance and tell the time. A good first watch.

Good looking water proof watch that hasn’t caught off time yet. The movement seems to be working well. It’s comfortable to wear and the luminous hands are very handy in dark. Makes a great gift and is a good value for money.

These are really basic watches which work well for children learning to tell the time (I bought 2 in different colours). They have a sporty look. Splash proof. The print can rub off if sun tan cream gets directly onto it but I still think they were worth the money and are serving their purpose.

I recently ordered this watch for my son. It looks great, the all black looks smart so not out of place if wearing to school or out playing. The strap I am told is nice and comfy and fits him well. It is a kids watch so it wouldn’t fit an adult.

I like my son wearing an analogue watch as it allows him to monitor the tome better and to be able to read analogue watches much faster.

with schools banning watches that do anything other than tell time my youngest (7yo) has been wearing it fairly consistently, the backlight on the black version does not stand out that much but its not like he needs that feature very ofte

My nephew liked his watch, it was his 11th birthday present.

This is a good kids watch and it looks sturdy too and it has a handle that looks sturdy too. The numbers can be seen clearly and it is waterproof.

I like the quality, it looks good and that it has also arrived in a box ready to give as a gift. It’s easy to clean and I think it will last well.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy for kids to use and looks sturdy

TThe Ayybboo Kids 50M Waterproof Watch is not bad. It’s a nice clear analogue watch with enough water resistance to take a bit of light water exposure. The light button is cool as is the light itself. The second hand moves once per second.

It’s quite chunky in both the dial width and thickness. Those with small wrists may find this a negative. Also the three protusions on sides seem to be fake buttons and it could have been left off.

Came in a nice presentation tin box. Overall pleased with it.

I like this watch, it has a rubber strap which is perfect for my 12 Years Old child. It has large dial with neon coloured numbers on it, it is clearly visible in the night. My sun used it to time himself and make a routine over the days, he has started following his timetable well. In my opinion it is an affordable gift as well because it has a very presentable box. It is waterproof

Ayybboo Kids Watch, 50M Waterproof, Easy to Read Children’s Watch with Light, Children Analogue

This is a great watch for kids, it’s not the cheapest but it has a rugged design, plastic strap, an analogue face with a green backlight that seems to mimic a luminescent face.

It comes in a plastic box with clear top and held in place with a piece of foam. Although the strap is rubber, it’s a little harder than expected but may soften up with use. The watch is chunky in height, but just the right dial size for kids and probably grownups too. Single button on the side, pull to set the time and press to illuminate the dial which is quite bright. Has a battery but no idea how long it will last before it requires replacement.

It is nice kids watch. Nice and clear number. Plastic strap a bit hard.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good old style analogue watch

It does the job, I got this for our younger daughter to wear to school. They’re not allowed smart watches, she wanted something simple and black. This fit the bill nicely, as anything too fancy attracts unwanted attention. The benefit of this one is that she can wear it during sports – previously having to remove watches with a more delicate nature.

Its a little big for the wrist of a seven year old and probably more suited from ages 10 and up. Our daughter likes it and likes the fact that it’s cheap and relatively cheerful.

The armband suits only kids or people with such thin wrists. Unfortunately, the max. wrist dimension is given wrong. With the buckle in the widest hole there is only 18cm inside, and it needs actually a bit less wrist diameter just to pull the buckle so its pin can go into the band hole, means 17cm around the wrist or less is the advised maximum, 1 star removed for that. I like that the watch is analogue, old style. It helps indeed to see better the passing of the time, and with one look I can estimate at which time of day (or night) I am. And I can use it as a compass.
Tbh, if you know how that works with compass, that goes with digital watches as well, just use two leaves of grass/sticks/fingers to simulate an anlogue watch …
I love also digital watches when in environments where a digital time is easier, like computer, TV time table, departure time.
Since this watch here is for kids it is good in my eyes to get them used to the analogue watch as well.
How does it look? Hm, black band and housing with white inside and green-ish numbers … Have seen that before, when was that, 60s? It doesn’t really matter, can’t fight about taste.
The buckle is made from metal, I like that better than plastic.

The back lid is bolted on, so in theory the battery could be changed. But there is also a tiny seal (normally, not opened now), and getting that re-assembled and watertight can be a challenge.

This is a lovely sized watch for a youngster, some of these type of watch can be to chunky but this is a good size and weight. The watch has the features as listed and it looks far more expensive than it is.
The watch arrived very well presented in a small metal tin with t perspex lid, it looks very classy.
    This is a bargain.

My 12 year old son loves it the backlight colours are changable and the controls are easy to use. I was the best mum in the world according to him for buying this watch. Strap is rubber and sturdy, seams a solid build and he has already tested getting it wet and it worked. Brilliant and a great price.

Great little starter watch for kids. With the date, day and time function and very easy to set up. Having the alarm and stop watch is a bonus. Definitely is helping my kid learn time, date and days of the week
