I don’t normally wear a watch but I got this because my upcoming trip is all about time schedules for trains, etc. I must say, this looks so much more expensive than it costs and I would definitely recommend this product that’s hope it dies the job for me!
I have purchased 2 watches from Benyar brand previous and both I loved. So when making this purchase it was a no brainer for me, the look and fit are amazing and it’s versatile, I’ve worn with smart suits and also with casual wear and it’s a winner and goes with most outfits. I have had a few compliments already and people ask where I got it from. I have a few expensive watches too, but for obvious reasons do not wear those daily so to mix it up, Benyar are great for day to day. Happy with my purchase as always!! Thanks guys!
For a Chineese watch the quality does not seem to be that bad and thats saying something.
I generally try to avoid Chineese branded goods because the quality control in my experince is very poor. In fact I brought one watch that lasted one month! Not the case with this one. Its a stylish looking watch thats moderatley heavy (Good Point) with a heavy duty strap. Only time will tell if it is sturdy but I guess and hope it will be
I got the blue version for about 35 after a belovd watch’s strap broke and I could not find a replacement quickly: I only intended this as an interim. Works right out of the box. Took a moment to realise the manual has a half dozen watch types in it and you need to follow the instructions for yours (pattern 9). Many reviewers have had issues with the date not working – mine has worked totally fine, as has setting the time, using (and off-setting) the chronograph works fine and so does the tachymetre: sure, the bezel does not rotate but then I don’t use a tachymetre, I just want to tell the time, so it makes no odds to me. I’m also capable for mental arithmetic so I’m sure it doesn’t save me time by having it. It doesn’t need winding and winds itself when you walk. Swinging it about will also wind it if it stops.
The only downside? For a watch nominally for men (I have no idea why there are differently gendered watches, just make lots of styles with straps that fit anyone…) the strap is so short I have it on the end hole and my wrists are NOT my any means big. The box is a bit not-needed and a waste of foam rubber and cardboard.
