Very happy. Better than the itex cover I had last year. Goes over the metal frame pool nicely. Could tear fairly easily if ur rough with it. But all in all I do recommend.

The reviews on this pool cover are variable so I was unsure how it would fit.
I was pleasantly surprised, it took 3 adults so save it dropping into the pool but it fits nicely. The cord pulls to tighten it and so far so good. The plastic holding the cord could do with being a bit stronger but we just tied a knot to ensure it doesn’t slip.
We have a 12ft steel max pro and purchased the correct size you wouldn’t want it being any larger. No wind as of yet so we will see how it holds up. Overall it seems like a good product. Not to thick nor to thin. Hoping it being black it’ll warm the warm a little too.

10′ cover for a 10′ pool. Does exactly what it says on the box. Don’t understand the poor reviews at all. It sits about 2″-3″ down from the top edge all the way around and is formed to meet the corners of the frame. Thick pull cord on one side pulls it tight to the edge. Exactly as expected!

For first use it’s difficult to get on needed 3 people and I didn’t think it was going to fit but once stretched it’s better than I originally thought it stays on and hasn’t so far gone under water only issue I’ve had was when putting on one of the rain holes caught on pool ripping slightly but it’s so far doing the job of keeping pool covered and clea

It arrived quick, it is thin and it feels like your going the rip it if your not carful. It does fit well but there is a certain way it goes on, i have manage do get is on by my self and tight enough so it dosent sit in the water with out to much facing around. I found get the cover on first then tighten the roap as much as possible, then go around again tightening the top ( you may want to stick a finger in the drain holes to help lift the top off the surface and break the suction). There is alot of stretch in the string to tighten so keep pulling. Personally think this is good value for money.

Not sure why the bad reviews. I bought the 10′ for my 10′ pool. Fits a treat.
I think the fitting problems I’m reading are people not realising it’s not round, but 10 sided. If you start with the centre seem covering one of the frame posts, then it just lines up perfectly. I don’t see any need to have it taught, I leave it slightly relaxed, resting on the water. Not need to cause excessive stress. Just pull the drawstring to stop it blowing away, bingo. I can easily fit it on my own.
Only had it a couple of days so can’t say how long it will last but seems reasonably strong and well made.

Works ok just floats on the water in the middle. Our expectations were that it was much harder than it is. We have crossed tow planks across the pool to stop sagging & it’s ok. It had plenty of stretch but is difficult to pull & tie up. Over time (12months this product streches but still usable

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersA good value cover. A couple of suggestions to make it more effective and easier to put on and take off: firstly, roll this around a long pole or thin wooden batten. It makes storage when it is not on the pool much easier and it makes it so much easier for one person to put on. Secondly, if you run straps (you can buy these cheaply on amazon) across the pool, the water doesn’t sit in the pool and so the cover is easier to take off after a heavy rainfall. Finally, if you have a leaf blower, use it to get rid of all the debris before taking the cover off. Otherwise, inevitably the leaves all end up in the pool. A good purchase for the price!

Bought this stop the debris from an overhanging tree filling the pool. Seems to be well made and durable but have only had it for a week.
Relatively easy to fit although it works easier if you draw the string in a little to create a lip when fitting otherwise it tends to slide off as you try to pull it over the sides of a circular pool. The drawstring seems to hold fast and stop the cover slipping off but it’s not been very windy so far so it hasn’t had a tough test.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI used a large tarpaulin with bungee toggles last year as I was so unsure of getting this due to the awful reviews. This year I thought I’d give it a go. I put in on for the first time today, all alone and with no problems. Although it will be much easier with two people. It fits like a glove. I bought the 10ft one for my 10ft pool. It floats perfectly on the pool water and it has a few holes in so rain water doesn’t collect in top. I don’t think it would work in an empty pool like some have tried. It needs the water to float on. It has a little cord inside that runs all the way around and tightens up, which is handy although I’m not sure how long it will last. I’m really pleased with my purchase and just wish I’d bought it before now.

You can fairy easily fit this on your own which is great, but it does seem to stretch and sag into water, not sure if that’s what it should do to keep water warm/warm it with sun, which it does warm it with the sun when it’s a mega hot day. Think it’s poor for UK as we have limited very hot days but it keeps most debris from pool. Overall I would purchase one again and it’s definitely value for money.

Takes 3 of us to put cover on as tends to slide off if pulled too hard and have small tear already it. Fits but will come off if more than a gentle breeze and then ends up in the pool.

Better than having nothing to protect the pool

I was hoping for a bit more to it and bit better quality for the price, but it arrived quickly within 2 days and does the job. It is basically a large piece of black plastic, with a drawstring and some holes stamped in it!!! If you have a clean tarp or fine netting, use that and put string around it!! In retrospect I would buy one that was more fine mesh like next time so water can drain through more evenly, it wouldn’t weigh the centre down and it would fit on and off a bit more easily, but as I say this does the job ok.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI bought this 15ft cover to fit a 12ft pool, so obviously it is far too big to use as it’s intended to be (a tight fit over the pool). However, I did this on purpose. I needed a cover that would hang over and cover the sides of the pool as well to stop my cat from clawing and potentially puncturing the pool as was the fate of our last pool (easy up version, so had no chance really did it?!)
We are approaching the end of August and despite numerous attempts by my relentless and rather stupid cat the pool has not sprung any leaks – so far. The cover can take the weight of a 4kg cat for enough seconds to allow the damn moggy to jump to safety so there’s another unexpected plus.
It’s dark colour also helps to heat the first few inches of water.

5.0 out of 5 stars Strong and sturdy and most importantly cat proof

This pool has been a godsend! We’ve always wanted a pool during the summer and since having a garden flat enough to have one, it was an investment. As soon as it is deemed warm enough the kids are out of the house and into the pool. It’s also good to know that a 3x3m gazebo fits snuggly around the pool to keep the glaring sunlight off the kids. I also use the 12 ft Bestway pool cover over the top over night. Keeps the leaves and bugs out and keeps the water slightly warmer. Oh and you might want to read up about what to use to keep the pool water from stagnating. The first time I filled it although I kept the pump running, the water still ended up smelling ‘off’. I was dubious about using pool chemicals at first but between that and cleaning the filter daily I have had a nice clean pool for weeks now. Definitely worth every penny!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great pool big enough for kids and adults!

It fits ok, it has draw strings with a spring toggle thing, which isn’t a lot of good, but I found the strings have an elastic quality to them, and if you pull it tight, then remove a section, then pull it another 6 inches either side then tie it together, then stretch it over the pools frame it’s magic.
It does sit on the surface of the water, and is not drum tight as I thought, but it does it’s job of keeping the leaves and other rubbish out of the water when the pools not in use. All I need to do now, is to teach the kids how to put it on, as they are very good at taking it off and forgetting to put it back on again!!
