Great item. Don’t hurt yours with not being in your ears. Don’t move around while running and makes so you can still hear things around you so you can feel safe

I always liked the idea of in bone headphones to go to the gym in. They feel comfortable to wear and fit well. Much better than on ear headphones I’ve used before and I don’t look daft in them when working out. They are much more secure than in ear headphones as my old ones were likely to fall out whilst running and cycling. The sound quality is decent and battery life is good. The fact that they are waterproof is a real plus point as I can swim on them too. Recommended.

I received these a few weeks ago now and have had a good chance to try them out. The sound quality and overall function is excellent for the price of the headphones as bone conduction is a relatively new technology available commercially. My only wish is that the band that sits around the head to have a little more adjustability as they can occasionally be slightly unstable. Additionally I understand that on amazon these are in the headphones section and therefore you are asked to review the noise cancelling ability, the point of these headphones is not to be noise cancelling and do to the way they function they have no real ability to be noise cancelling. I gave that area 3 stars as I didn’t want to negatively impact the review but understand that they are not noise cancelling. Overall however I am very pleased with the product.

I bought these not expecting much but I’ve been very pleasantly surprised. Sounds quality is good, they fit well. Really useful for running because it allows you to hear the surrounding environment. Really impressed

I didn’t have too much hope due to the price but I really wanted to try bone conduction headphones. I use earphones a lot and wanted to save my poor eardrums once and a while. They’re great! Battery is brilliant, you can’t accidentally turn them off by just brushing them (have to press and hold the power) which really annoys me about Bluetooth earphones. I use them for podcasts and I can hear everything while still having a good awareness of the street/roads.

I picked these up the other day as my aftershokz right channel failed. I was looking for something more budget to replace them and bought these based on the reviews. I am happy to say that they don’t disappoint. The sound quality is better than my previous set. They are less tactile than the aftershokz, the body is hard plastic but you don’t notice this when worn. My only criticism is that the controls are close together which can make it tricky to operate whilst riding my bike and i would imagine almost impossible to use in winter with gloves on. For their price point I am delighted.

Having watched an Eliud Kipchoge video where he describes the things he can’t live without, which included his endorsed bone conduction headphones, I thought I’d take a look at cheaper alternatives as an initial entry point. I have to admit that, at the price of these that I really wasn’t expecting them to be any good at all but – I have to give them great credit as they are much better than I could have hoped for. Lightweight, easy to wear, pretty decent sound and they don’t move around when running. All in all, I couldn’t ask for more, although if I was being really picky, maybe a little more bass/depth to the music.

    Pros
-Allows you to safely run, cycle, walk etc whilst enjoying your music or podcast whilst also being aware of sounds around you like cars, bicycles, dogs, other runners.
-The sound quality is reasonable for the pricepoint
-The headphones are lightweight and were comfortable to wear on a 8mile run
-Battery lasted as reported in the product info.
-Easy to use (turn on, it’s ready to pair with phone, away you go!)

    Cons
-They don’t feel as expensively-made as more expensive products, but that’s to be expected (and plus side they are light).
-The sound quality is a little ‘tinny’ and definitely not as good as in-ear or over-ear headphones I have at similar prices, but then those block out the other sounds and so lack the safety aspect of these bone conduction headphones.
-At higher volumes the unit vibrates and the audio is audible to those around you.
-No case and would be easy to snap in a bag, so if you want to carry them around in a bag you should probably look for a hard protective case.

Overall would recommend for the price

I’m onto my third set of bone conduction headphones in about 3 years and this is my favourite so far. The features of them have all been the same, and this set is no exception (vol control, pause, pairing, etc). Pairing working flawlessly (which can’t be said for other products I’ve owed). And more than anything, I find these are comfortable to wear, even when out for a 2+ hour hike. Other products have been too tight and squeezed my head before the ears, whereas this product is a bit looser and fits my head much better.
I’d add that sound quality is really good, though as with all bone conduction sets, can be hard to hear if a noisy car drives past. Good value at the price point.

Got these for safe walking / running. Did not believe they would work for the price, but
On receipt turned them on ( fullt charged on arrival) put them on to paired them with my phone and, there you go!
Nice clear sound but with the ability to hold a conversation, no weird vibration, no ‘headphone voice’ from me when carrying on a conversation.
Other reviewers say they don’t have the clingy rubberised covering of the more expensive version, but i found them so comfortable and they didn’t move very much.
Would have been a nice-to-have to be able to shorten the headband as it stands out from my head slightly. On the upside this means i can easily fit them on over a beanie which will make my winter hikes a bit nicer
Overall cannot fault them, particularly at this price point. Sound is good and clear but bass is not overly ‘bassy’.
I would recommend getting these over the branded type, especially if you have never used bone conduction headphones

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a 2-in-1 review as I bought two products, one for myself and another one as a present.

I never heard of bone conduction headphones until a couple of weeks ago and was so excited about it that I bought one for my best friend too. This Bone Conduction type feels great to use for long hours knowing that we are not damaging our hearing as you do with in-ear headphones or earbuds (as well as the discomfort you get after a while).

My experience: I am very happy with the purchase and with this product. Great value for money. I mainly use headphones for listening to ambient music when working in the office or at home. It’s perfect. In the office especially, as I don’t need to take it off to be aware of my surroundings.

My friend’s experience: he uses it for listening to podcasts when working from home as well as when going for walks at lunch time. Loves it when at home but finds that when walking on a heavy traffic street, he prefers to wear in-ear buds so that he doesn’t miss anything that’s said. He still loves the fact that these Bone Conduction ones do not bother him after long hours using them and also works very well with Teams calls.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve been wanting to try a set of these bone conductor earphones for a some time now as while I don’t mind over the head earphones, they do cut you off from the rest of the world and sometimes that isn’t fit the best.

These fit round the back of your neck so you can’t use them while lying down for example. But they feel fine elsewhere. The sound from these isn’t particularly loud, so not best used in situations where you will be doing with loud noises. But where you need to be aware of what’s going on round you these work really well. They do provide ear plugs for when you are in noisy environments but I haven’t tried these out myself. I’ve worn the headphones for over an hour and they are pretty comfortable. What I find is they give a nice background sound which means you can still hear and talk to people easily.

Overall a interesting option, especially if you don’t like using in ear headphones and don’t want to be cut off from your surroundings.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI am very impressed with these Bone Conduction Headphones having gone through two pairs of much more expensive ones from a leading brand. Admittedly, the immediate tactile feel of these headphones might not be quite as good as the most expensive brands but a) you get what you pay for and b) in actual fact, these Hanmer headphones fit much better overall.

This new 2023 upgraded version has really raised the baseline for sport headphones. The open-ear design is a game-changer giving me total awareness of my surroundings while enjoying my favourite radio stations and podcasts. Whether I’m cycling through busy city streets or going for a run, I feel safe and connected.

The Bluetooth 5.3 technology ensures seamless connectivity, and the noise-cancelling built-in mic lets me stay connected during important calls without interruption. The 8-hour battery life is fantastic and a quick 2.5-hour charge is all it takes for a full day’s listening.

Comfort and durability are really top-notch. The ergonomic design and lightweight materials provide a comfortable fit that stays in place during even the most intense workouts. The IP55 waterproof rating is a comfort — no more worrying about light rain or sweat damaging my headphones.

The customer service provided by Hanmer looks impressive as they stand by their product’s quality, offering a 120-day warranty and a 30-day return guarantee.

To conclude, if you want to be able to listen to your favourite media while exercising, commuting, or just for everyday wear then these Bone Conduction Headphones are an absolute bargain. They blend innovation, quality, and comfort seamlessly offering an unparalleled audio experience that keeps you connected and aware of your surroundings. Kudos to Hanmer for creating such a remarkable product – I won’t be going back to the more expensive brands!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great price, really comfortable fit, outperforms the leading brands

I’ve owned the top end bone conduction headphones the last 2 times and although they are good they developed faults.

Thought I’d try a cheaper version. First impressions were OK, they are very light and plasticky. No smooth grippy rubber texture of the more expensive ones. But when I put them on they are extremely light and comfortable. I can wear them with glasses easily.

Sound is less bassy than the prices ones and they seem a little quiet even at the top volume. Voices and music seem clear though. You are not going to get perfect sound from bone conduction anyway so overall I was happy.

Cheap, light and a good product for the money.

I was pleasantly surprised with the bone conducting headphones. The sound quality was good and although not deafening, its volume was pretty good. When turned up loud you can feel the vibrations by your ear which are “weird” but not entirely unpleasant. These are not for people who want thumping base and skull vibrating music, isolating them off from the outside world as you can obviously still hear perfectly. These are good for walkers, cyclers and runners who need to be aware of their surroundings (Cars, other cyclists coming up behind them).

The fit well and didn’t cause any discomfort.

Given 0 starts for Noise cancellation as there isn’t any on these types of Headphones 🙂 However very little noise bleed either so you won’t annoy people around you.

I wanted to get away from wires from the phone to my ears while out running – I looked into ‘Bone conduction wireless headsets’ and saw these. I was slightly unsure as they are priced lower than many others, but the reviews that are above this are the ones that I read and are true and correct.

Easy to charge up, easy to setup and everything works. Music, Podcasts and Strava all link up and are good to go. The sound is incredibly clear and the music sounds absolutely fine as well.

Having now used them a few times, I can confirm that they are super – you can easily have conversations and hear other traffic around you. You can’t adjust them, they are ‘one size fits all’ – but that would be the only slight negative, however you don’t notice that after a few minutes.

I’m 100% delighted with these – highly recommended indeed. Absolute bargain at this price. Lots of people have already added up a positive review, I’m joining that same group !

I’ve been keen to try out bone conduction ‘phones for a while, and had been put off by some of the prices.
I was a bit skeptical at first because these were at the lower end of the price range but they had positive reviews, and so far seem to live up to the promise and more.
Came with usb charger, and were already charged so I was connected to my phone and listening to the radio in minutes.
It takes a bit of initial fiddling to find the perfect position, but the sound is far better than I thought it would be, although maybe top volume could be a bit higher.
Only drawback is that there is no adjustment on the headband- I find it projects out a bit at the back which can be a bit inconvenient if you have a hat or a hoodie on.
Other than that, I’d say they are a great value buy, I can listen to music or podcasts when I’m out and about and still be aware if my surroundings (traffic, people etc.)

eview written after 3+ weeks of use. Aware that there are many higher priced ‘big brand’ variants of these, I expected the sound to perhaps be a little ‘tinny’ or muffled – I am very happy to report that these are excellent, and considering the purpose is to be able to listen to music whilst exerting oneself (running/cycling/working out) rather than to luxuriate in concert-quality sound, I can report that the playback is fantastic, and indeed far exceeded expectations, particularly as I also use these for working (Teams, Zoom etc) allowing me the freedom to get up from my desk, get a coffee from kitchen continuing to listen to my tunes AND YET still be aware of my environment. In-ear buds seem to have a disorientating effect, so actually feel safer riding my bike on surrounding country roads with these and can still hear cars approaching – so a lot safer!!!! I would be VERY surprised if a more expensive brand could improve on these – other than bells and whistles – construction also sound, battery life appears more than adequate so far – so overall I can heartily recommend these.

The 2023 Upgraded Bone Conduction Headphones have transformed my workouts into an unparalleled audio experience. The open-ear design is a revelation, keeping me aware of my surroundings while delivering impeccable sound quality. Whether I’m running, cycling, or hiking, these headphones stay put and offer a newfound sense of freedom. The waterproof feature adds a layer of durability, allowing me to push my limits regardless of the weather. Setting them up via Bluetooth was a breeze, and the reliable connection has yet to disappoint, even during intense movement. The built-in mic proves handy for seamless calls on the go.

I was initially skeptical about bone conduction technology, but these headphones have converted me entirely. The audio is rich and dynamic, with surprisingly robust bass and well-tuned mids and highs. They’ve become my go-to for podcasts, music, and calls alike. The comfortable fit and lightweight design ensure I can wear them for hours on end without discomfort. To all fellow fitness enthusiasts: if you’re seeking an upgraded way to elevate your workouts while staying connected, these bone conduction headphones are a game-changer. Embrace the future of active audio and enjoy the blend of innovation and performance!

This review comes from a cyclist’s point of view.
I have always been curious about bone conduction headphones.
So when I lost one of my true wireless bubs. Because I only wear one. I thought it I would them a try. Not wanting to pay a lot l looked on amazon. I looked for high bluetooth Specs, Durability and comfort.
    Bluetooth 5.1
Durability they look like it. Neck band is sprung loaded and they are xp55
They sit nice for my size head helmet size large.
You can feel them but not too tight. I have not try them on a long bike ride yet.
    Sound.
This is tricky because you got bearing in mind to the limitations of bone conduction headphones.
Highs muffled but can be heard
    Mids clear
Bass pronounced specially when turned up to full they brivate.
Try them with a helmet and as you can see you will have to adjust the straps but it seams to work.
For me so far think they will do the job.
When cycling the importance is I can heard the traffic and I can.
I will try them with good bike tour and see. but feel excited.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and loud

Looked at many different options but the reason I brought these was the detailed review that a guy left that stated “I like to listen to music, podcasts and TV programs around the house but my wife wanted to speak to me at the same time as we are cleaning. He now could do both at the same time.” I have this issue with purchasing expensive noise cancelling headphones I would constantly have to pause the music or remove one ear to listen to my partner if he would tell me something short. They are amazing as you can do two things at once without getting distracted they are great for working at home too. I have a child and when I’m doing the house work I can only crack on whilst listening to something but also don’t want to not hear him by wearing my noise cancelling ones as its not safe, so a win win!
They do feel flimsy when you get them out the packet but it means they are just light weight on your face. I’m going to trial them running on the weekend! The sounds is perfect didn’t expect for a cheaper version, but for a trial they are great.
I’m a 28 year old female and they fit my head fine. They are not adjustable.
    Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Give it a go!

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersWho are these for?
Anybody who wants headphones for working-out (gym, running, cycling etc) so they can enjoy music or podcasts while also hearing what’s going on around them. This is a great safety option for outdoor activities like running, which I do, where it’s important to be able to hear cars (or dogs!) approaching. Also, these have great performance for the price-point. I’ve paid over 4x the price of these in the past for premium brand bone-conducting head-phones and in terms of audio, these sound at least as good to me. It’s the earbud casing where you’ll notice the difference between these and some of the more premium brands, but as long as they’re comfortable for running and perform well, I’m happy.

    Who are they not for?
They’re not for audiophiles looking for high fidelity rich tones and bass in the music. The quality of the sound is great, but you’re not paying premium prices for premium audio. They’re not for anybody looking for noise cancelling headphones or even normal ambient sound blocking. You’ll hear ambient noise but just the right amount so you can still enjoy the music or podcasts. If someone in the room talks to you, you’ll hear them. The product title shows they’re targeting “Workout, Running, Hiking, Cycling” and this is who they’re great for.

    Pros:
    – Perfect for activities outdoors where you want to hear the music but also what’s going on around you for safety reasons
    – Usable in the rain
    – Value for money: Great price. These are about a third the price (or better) of more premium brands and there’s not a massive difference in performance.
    – Simple to use
    – Customer Service was great. I’d an issue with my first pair which were the previous model, and customer service were very responsive and sorted the issue to my satisfaction very quickly with a replacement. To me, aftersales is important and influences my rating.

    Cons:
It’s been called out in other reviews, but the headphones are made of hard smooth moulded plastic. You feel the harder surface when you first wear them but after a bit you forget they’re there and just enjoy your run and the music while being conscious of your surroundings. Also, I had the previous version which failed on me after just over a month with pairing issues. Having said that, I have owned more premium brand bone-conducting headphones from a different brand which failed on me after a year (left ear bud completely failed) – so faults can happen at any brand/price-point and it’s how that’s handled by customer service is important. In this instance, as mentioned, customer service were excellent and as a result I haven’t deducted significantly on the star rating.

    Verdict
You’re getting what you pay for. A fit-for-purpose set of bone conducting headphones at a great price-point. You’re not paying premium money, so don’t expect premium look and feel. The sound is great, they’re comfortable during the run and sit well on my head and they’re performing exactly as I need. It’s a 4 out 5 stars. Yes, I had an issue with the first pair (previous version of the product) but from a performance and customer service perspective, they’ve hit the mark for me.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersA friend of mine was raving about his bone-conducting headphones and let me try them. I absolutely loved it! I looked them up but the ones he got were a little too pricey for me, so I forgot about it until I saw these pop up in recommendations on the site. It seemed a good enough deal to try and give it a go and I am not disappointed! It surpassed my expectations.

You can’t adjust them and they seem like they’re too big for me, but having worn them for 3 full days while working on an event I have found them both comfortable and staying put. I forget I wear them!

Sometimes I need headphones to be noise canceling, like when I am flying or on a train, but at other times I need to be able to keep hearing what is going on around me and these are perfect for it.

I work in advertising production and when on set or at events I often have to switch between listening and talking to people around me, on my phone and over a walkie-talkie, sometimes at the same time! I have gotten used to always having one in-ear headphone connected to my phone, another in-ear piece for the walkie-talkie, then having to take out one or the other to hear who is talking with me on site. It’s a bit of a juggle as you can imagine. This little piece is so crazy useful! It’s like I have an extra ear now and can keep my hands free when in the middle of comms with 3 different sources. Definitely one of the best things I have purchased to make my life easier.

Also for normal use, I love it, it’s not as bulky as a headphone, and not as itchy as in-ears. It’s great for when you’re on a bike or walking as it doesn’t muffle noise from traffic.

They lasted 12hr work days without running out of battery, so also on that side they’re a good deal for the price.

I usually don’t review things, but these things are great!

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI bought these following a conversation with a lady who was running park run – she absolutely raved about her bone conduction headphones and gave me quite a lot of advice, should I be considering purchasing a pair. I admit to having been very sceptical in the past about this type of headphone, as I really didn’t think that they would perform very well. The lady that I spoke to recommended a brand which were twice as expensive as these, and actually had worse reviews on Amazon, so I opted for these instead.
They arrived well packaged, with clear instructions and were already partially charged. They were switched on and connected to my phone within a couple of minutes. When I played a current playlist on Spotify, I actually grinned, as I was so surprised by the sound quality … OK, purists will say that they are a little flat, lack a bit of range, and that they vibrate at higher volume and bass levels, but frankly, they are just great, when you consider that you can hear actually hear background noise clearly, whilst using these headphones! If you want to clearly hear high and low frequency ranges, appreciate the vibration and tone in a guitar string, then buy a pair of 300 noise cancelling headphones and use them whilst sitting in a quiet room. if you want to listen to a podcast, or music whilst being aware of your surroundings, indoors and outdoors, then buy these…. Simple as. I have used mine whilst watching YouTube videos and that has been a revelation too – My wife always tends to ask questions whilst I am watching videos, and with previous headphones, I have had to press pause and ask her to repeat herself, but not with these, as I can hear the video, AND whatever she has asked me – it’s a small point, but I noticed it and appreciated the difference it made.

    Overall

Sound Quality – Much better than expected. Some of the reviews set my expectations really, really low and the reality pleasantly surprised me.
Build Quality – They are a bit ‘plasticy’, but quality seems good and the side operated buttons are easy to find, don’t let water in and are positive in use.
Ease of set up – Couldn’t be much easier really.
Value for money – Very good.
Would I recommend them – Without a shadow of a doubt, in fact I have already demonstrated them to a number of colleagues, who say they are going to buy a pair.
I hope you find this review useful.
