Attractive watch at an attractive price
A pretty and comfortable Hugo Boss watch with HMS hands and date display. Simple and elegant design with Roman numerals and a textured inner circle on the dial. The black and gold contrast very nicely. The glossy and matte gold ion-plated steel links look great, especially under lamplight. The steel doesn’t feel too heavy or too light, watch feels balanced on the wrist. The clasping mechanism is the only part that feels a tad cheaper than the rest of the watch, but it’s acceptable. The crown is 1-step, adjusts MS hands both forwards and backwards while date is only adjusted forwards in time. You’re not supposed to adjust time between 9pm and 3am while the date switches days so as not to damage the calendar mechanism.
The watch comes in a typical branded box with a tiny accompanying booklet telling you to find warranty information and instructions on the mgiservice/boss website so as to save paper.
I bought it on sale for 128, at which price it’s certainly a great catch, so I have no complaints.
Oro o non oro?
L’orologio fa la sua figura, bello e sicuramente molto apprezzato. C’ molto dubbio sul “placcato oro”. L’azienda non risponde ad email cliente, il titolo dice che placcato oro, altri siti e recensioni non lo dicono. Non vi alcuna indicazione documentale dentro la scatola riguardo la placcatura. Insomma per chi vuole oro certificato meglio girare a largo.
