I didn’t think it would fit on the fridge shelf but it does. At the first refill I was horrified to find small white calcium deposits in the top of the tank, I’ll certainly use it forever now!
My fridge will never be without this from now on. I use a filter on my tap so by the time this filters the water a second time it is ice cold and super purified.
Been great, does the same job as the jug but with much more capacity. Can easily get a couple of days out of one fill. Nice and easy to fill with the large opening in the top. Actually using my old jug as the thing to fill it up in my fridge without removing it. Filters are the same as the usual ones so they last a little less time since they’re filtering more water but they’re easily replaced and can be bought fairly cheaply. I do like that this uses the normal filters and not different ones specifically for this. The tap works well too.

Filter took at least 3-4 rinsing to work but after that the water taste so much better! Used to have abdominal pains bc of the water but much better after started using this produc
Fits perfectly on my fridge shelf.
Easy to fill, I don’t have to remove it from fridge as it has a sliding opening to allow it to be filled in situ.
I do have to pull it out slightly when using it so it doesn’t spill but this is a minor issue.
Love the little tap to allow filling.
All good and water taste so much better with this.

The size is great and fits nicely on the bottom shelf of the fridge. I’ve previously had a few different Brita products that fit in the door. I know it’s not difficult to refill those but with this one it just makes life a bit easier.
Really good water filter. I was tempted to buy a virgin pure one but the cost was crazy and all I wanted was cold filtered water so tried this. This fits perfectly, fits a good amount in and costs so much less than other water filters plus you don’t end up with loads of plastic waste from buying bottled wate
It looks nice and good capacity.
I left it on the kitchen counter but you can easily fit in the fridge. Also, I use to filling up the water bottle for my kids as the jug is too heavy for them to lift, but now they can easily fill it up themselves.
Purchased for my son and his partner and they reported that it is perfect for them and a great alternative to our American fridge freezer that dispenses water as their flat was to small for it.
I’ve since bought reusable cartridge and charcoal for this product so as to minimise my plastic footprint! Should come as standard as surely we are all trying to save the planet. FACT: only 7% of water in the world is drinkable! Use it wisely and don’t flush anything toxic down the sink etc or we’ll all end up drinking it!
BUT!!!! Built Material seems very cheap. One drop and its game over. Feels very fragile. The one they sent me seems to be damage good as there is tiny leak from the tap seal. I have tighten as hard as I can and still leaks. If I tighten anymore, it will break the tank. Also, not an easy way to contact Brita support this kind of issue so have to put in review. I may return the product if the problem isn’t resolved.
UPDATE: 03/04/2023
Returned the faulty one and requested for replacement through Amazon return service. It was very easy process. Replacement came very quick and seems to be working perfectly without any leaks. For that reason, one more star given.
But loved the size for out side the fridge loved the dispenser tap easy for my kids to use. 8 jad the Brita jug but heavy for my little girl to use

Useful water filter system for work – used by staff and visitors. Easy to set up and use the cartridges – like a Brita jug. Fits in the fridge as advertised and holds a good amount of water for frequent use. However the packaging was disappointing; it arrived in a box that had been cut up and reassembled, so not very secure. Fortunately the product was not damaged.
We use the Brita Jugs already a very long time as Tap Water tastes really bad in our area and these help a lot to get the water to a neutral taste.
The big issue we always had is the amount of refilling every day due to the low volume of the Brita Jugs.
With this one, this is not the case anymore and once or twice a day refilling it is now enough and you have always filtered clean water on hand.
The big issue I see with it though is that there is no stand offered, not even as a purchasable accessory, so it sits on the counter and you need to move it to the ledge to be able to fill a glass.
This really should come with a stand included or at the very least an option to purchase one.
Aside from that, it works the same as the Jugs, filter in, run 2 full fills through it and then it is ready to go and provides you with way more drink water than the Jugs do.
I invested in the bigger one so that I can fill stuff up without having to wait 2 minutes a time to filter enough water & now we always have plenty on tap (pun not intended) when we need it.
The unit sits on the cupboard and is easy to use. The tap doesn’t leak nor drip. The only complaint I have is the tap could have done with sticking out a fraction more as I have to move the unit so it’s slightly overlapping the edge so I can get the jug or whatever under it, but its no biggie, just an observation.
The unit itself holds what feels like about 9 litres of water. I keep the top section topped up as then it feeds down to the bottom as it empties.
There is also a convenient filling hole in the lid – simply slide the blue section in the lid, containing the filter counter, back & it has a hole big enough to allow for easy following without having to remove the entire lid.
Easy to use, fits regular sized filter cartridges & has a counter on the top which counts down to changing the filter.
Brilliant item, so glad I got it as now I don’t have to keep filling 2 litre bottles just to ensure we have a stock of water for everything.
I am so happy to report this tank has changed my thinking!, it tastes lovely! just good old plain uncontaminated water! I would recommend this to anyone, i promise you wont be sorry.
BRITA are now my newest trusted brand and if i could rate it more stars i would.
The tank arrived with one cartridge (i also ordered another two costing about 10, and there are options to order bigger packs of 4 and 6 and obviously the more you order the better value- i think 6 are around 24) as we have only been using ours for just over a week i have yet to see how long the filter lasts, i use mine for filling the kettle, the dogs water bowl and cooking.There is a little display in the lid that tells you when the filter needs changing, going from 5 bars down to one (or none-haven’t got there yet) when its time to change it. My display is still reading 5 bars and i have used the tank every day and have got into a routine of topping it up every morning whilst waiting for my coffee, this is working well and makes sure we have a full tank every day.
The tank does take up a bit of room in your fridge but to me its worth it and does mean i don’t have room for rubbish fizzy drinks so for me that’s another bonus! lol. it measures aprx 22 x 31 x 23cm and is longer than it is taller (this was one of my concerns that it would be too tall and disrupt shelving system too much but its actually 23cm tall and 30 deep-(back into your fridge if you get my meaning), its 22cm wide.
I was also concerned there might be a taste from whatever it is inside the filter (i know probably a daft worry but thats me..) but nope there really is no weird taste, the water tastes just like it did when i was growing up, before there were times when you have to think “god knows what could be in the water!”.. it looks super sparkly clean and tastes great. I can definitely say without a doubt nobody will regret buying this tank!. As you can tell i would highly recommend! (even my 30 yr old who visits regular now chooses a glass of water as apposed to the usual coffee lol!) all good, less work for me. Oh and one last thing, i’m not sure and it could be a coincidence but in general i am feeling better than i was health-wise.. less tired and less moody, and the only thing that’s changed is having filtered water. Thank you BRITA you are excellent 🙂 . EDIT: Just wanted to update on this great item, i wrote this review around the 19 of july, I have only just had to change the filter on it and it is now 22nd august! very happy with this.
