Fits my jug perfectly, saw some particles first 2 times of usage, but I checked online and says it’s probably carbon particles and harmless, water was much better after third use, I’ll recommend if you use Brita.

The BRITA MAXTRA PRO Water Filter Cartridge 6 Pack has significantly improved the taste and quality of my tap water. It does a great job reducing impurities, chlorine, pesticides, and limescale. The pack is convenient, ensuring I have replacements when needed. My only minor gripe is the price, but for the improved water quality, it’s worth it. A solid 4-star product.

I have replaced buying plastic bottled water with re-filling an insulated water bottle with the Brita filtered water. Much better for the environment and more convenient for me to have the water remain cold for hours in the bottle.

These are the standard Brita maxtra filters, that often unaccountably cost double this price, so if you run out and look for them in the shop, the skies the limit, no way are they worth double this price though.

If you buy them on offer and you calculate the amount of filtered water you use each day you can use them well after their recommended best before date (one month).
The chance of bacteria coming into filters or water is low because there is nothing for them to feed on. If you regularly clean nothing can happen. I use also the first two batches (they have a strong taste) mixed with plain water or for pasta.

Paid a good price for these filters and they fit perfectly in my brita filter (had a previous situation where filters I bought didn’t fit)
Decent price and does the job.

Fit my older mantra filter perfectly, and takes out the nastiness I’ve been getting before replacing. I live in a very hard water area – build ups of white crap around all taps, and it takes it all out. No oily surfaces on hot tea any more, and tastes so different. In my world everyone would get these filters to help their health!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFairly new to the whole Brita and filtered water world but honestly, I’m extremely satisfied. They say these filters last about a month so the 6 pack should last 6 months, however I’ve been getting about 2 months out of one filter! And my water still tastes great!

I suppose it depends on how much your water would need filtered but I can definitely taste a VERY clear difference between the water from my tap, vs the water from my brita. An absolutely stellar produc

This filter does give the water it filters a noticeable but mild flavour to it and improves the quality of the filtered water significantly and the water I filtered helps one get over a hang over quicker then just drinking ordinary unfiltered tap water.

These are Maxtra+ filters for a Brita water filter jug. This pack of 12 cost 44.46 and will last 48 weeks.
A pack of 6 usually costs 33-00 from Tesco, although they are on offer at the moment for 22. I can’t buy a pack of 12 from Tesco. Well done Amazon. Delivery was good too

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAfter using a few cheaper products whilst using the same branded filtering jug, I would recommend buying these above alternatives. The product is self explanatory and not difficult to use. Removing the filter when required is an easy and painless process but may require a bit of force to remove it and push down the new one in. The plastic is sturdy enough to take it.
It is noticeable that the use of Brita filters fit perfectly with no to very minimal leaks, ensuring a good filter and end product. The flavour seems to provide a longer lasting ‘filtered taste’ as opposed to other brands.

Ultimately, I would recommend this product and believe it is the right value for money.

Great items, we buy a years supply every year and the quality of water is superb, nice to drink or use it tea or coffee making.

The water tastes so much better after some of the chlorine and other chemicals have been removed.

We wouldn’t be without out Briter after using for several years.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI gotta say, the Brita Maxtra hits the mark when it comes to doing what it’s supposed to do.
I recently switched to this product from water bottles and it’s been great. I enjoy the taste of the water again. It is easy to set up and can be recycled, but unfortunately, not at home. It lasts for about a month, depending on fluid intake, but 6 litres a day isn’t easy to waste. The only improvement I would suggest is the ability to filter out fluoride. Overall, it does its job well, lasts long enough, and is convenient to use at a reasonable price if purchased in bulk.

The BRITA MAXTRA+ replacement water filter cartridges are an excellent buy for anyone looking to improve their water quality. They are compatible with all BRITA jugs, making installation a breeze. Each cartridge lasts a considerable amount of time, making the 15 pack an excellent investment that keeps you supplied for months.

As for performance, I noticed a remarkable difference in the taste of my water, with the chlorine, limescale, and other impurities noticeably reduced. The transformation in water quality provided a crisp, clean taste that was far superior to unfiltered tap water.

The environmental benefit is also notable; using these filters has greatly reduced our household’s consumption of single-use plastic water bottles. An added bonus is the significant cost savings over time as a result.

In conclusion, BRITA MAXTRA+ filters are a worthwhile investment for any household. They offer excellent performance, longevity, and have a positive impact on the environment. Whether you’re looking to improve the taste of your water or reduce your environmental footprint, these filters are a fantastic solution.

We leave in a area with hard water. This filters perform very well and last for about 1-1.5 month for a family of four. When the filter gets old, you can notice limescale building in the kettle.

These filters seem to do the job. They don’t add any taste to the water, and I have not noticed any dust or impurities in the water. They are easy to remove and replace. In our house each filter lasts nearly a month. But Oh Boy they are expensive for what they are. The cost of running this model of kettle is at least the cost of a box of filters each year – more if you like frequent cups of tea.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAlthough these filters are the most expensive you are buying the Brita originals as opposed to “compatible” versions. I bought these at a reasonable price as they were a little cheaper than normal and the box is for twelve units hence they will last me a year. It cost me 42.66 which works out at 3.55 per cartridge which lasts for a month. I’s true that the compatible one’s can be up to half that price but there are too many reviews which are questionable regarding quality and you have to remember that you are dealing with water that you drink.

I like the fact I can get a years supply and they cost less than in the supermarkets. The water quality in this area is not good and if let in a glass overnight is stale the next morning. Not when using the filters. I wouldn’t put unfiltered water into my kettle!

Just got these and there perfect for the brita filter water tank with tap i only got 12 of these so I only need to buy them once a year but worth every penny its a game changer in my water drinking from my tap as I just had a kidney operation to remove lime stones from the water I was drinking before I even had one of these I drank water from my tap and trust me what things are really in the water you drink this will filter out most of it but not all but the lime will be gone

It’s more expensive than other filters and the taste Is not bad. It’s not difficult to install, it’s an average filter but more expensive.
Why i and many others buy it? Because we can’t be asked to look for different filters as this is the most popular.
    I say: Go for i

These came really quickly with prime delivery, albeit the box was a bit bashed up. The filters appear to be fine however so no issues.
These filters are great. The tap water where I live is very hard and so the difference these make is incredibly noticeable. Very easy to put in and change, last around a month each so this pack of the 12 should hopefully keep me going for a whole year.

Only bugbear with this is that when I’ve checked within a week the prices are completely different each time. After ordering these I then saw the packs of 6 had been reduced which buying two of these instead would’ve saved me 20+. They do work out quite cheaply regardless however as before I was spending lots on single use water bottles. Definitely make the switch to filters if you haven’t already, tastes just as good if not better than Evian using these ones

Gross tasting tap water? Can’t afford to continue buying bottles of water all the time? A Brita Jug and Brita filters are definitely right for you!
They’re really easy to change and we personally choose to change our filter every month to ensure we have great tasting water from our Brita Jug. We only fill out kettle up with filtered water too (as recommend by the manufacturer) and we were surprised by the minimal amount of limescale build up compared to our old kettle that we filled up straight from the tap.

I’ve got to add, I’ve found Amazon to be the cheapest place in the UK to purchase these genuine filters from. I highly recommend picking up a 6 or 12 Pack for best value.
